Wizard: Stronger through Marriage

Chapter 270: Chapter 138: Capturing the Vampire

Eastern Territory, East Forest City.

David continued to consolidate his battle achievements.

This time, his tactic was one of swiftness and decisiveness.

Seize East Forest City in a flash!

This time, he captured East Forest City in just one day, and through an Oath of Loyalty, he completely took over the knight order and officials of East Forest City!

By the time the Kingdom Army reinforcements arrived at the Eastern Territory, they discovered they had completely lost contact with East Forest City, severed entirely!

The border between the Eastern Territory and the Royal Capital.

”How is this possible?”

”Did the commander and all the generals of East Forest City surrender?”

The Kingdom Legion Commander’s face was extremely grave and unsightly.

Originally, he thought that even if Duke Frost Wolf occupied East Forest City, he wouldn’t be able to hold it easily.

The Kingdom Army only needed to join forces with the generals of the Donglin Army; recapturing the Frost Wolf Knight Order with only a thousand cavalry would have been very easy.

But the facts dealt the Kingdom Legion Commander a harsh slap, causing all his plans to fail and losing most of the Eastern Territory for the Kingdom Army!

Upon hearing the news, David’s face showed a smile; now he had full control of East Forest City, and the Northern Lands had successfully repelled the Duke of the Western Border’s attack.

Bronco’s original plan had completely failed, and under these circumstances, he could gradually take over the Eastern Territory!

And from the news returned by the Messenger Magic Pet, Bronco had smashed everything in a room again, obviously furious to the extreme!

This round of games.

In a certain sense, his purpose had been achieved.

...

East Forest City Hall.

Lune had already begun to take over governance step by step.

During this time, she had learned a lot of methods for handling governance from Princess Reina and Princess Yi Lin. With the help of the Messenger Magic Pet, they could also communicate and discuss, handling matters efficiently.

”What’s going on?”

”There seem to be quite a few death cases in East Forest City.”

”Moreover, every victim was drained of blood.”

Lune frowned as she looked at a security document in her hand.

She had a feeling that the culprit was no ordinary person, possibly a magical beast or a wizard.

With this in mind, she reported the information to the Lord Duke immediately.

”A vampire?”

This was David’s initial reaction.

Whether in wizard literature or church tales, vampires indeed exist, but these creatures eviler than wizards had long disappeared.

Could it be that with the arrival of the Demon Tide, vampires had returned?

David had no leads, so he could only release his Extraordinary Perception, trying to find any clues about the bizarre killer.

...

In the night.

Inside East Forest City.

A bat suddenly swept across the night sky.

Before long, the bat arrived at the battlefield.

Suddenly, with a flash of blood, the bat transformed into a human figure.

He looked at the bloodstains on the battlefield, a greedy look in his eyes.

As blood light appeared on his figure, a large amount of blood converged toward him, the scent of blood growing more intense.

Under the moonlight, everything appeared exceptionally strange.

This figure wore a long black robe, his face pale.

It was indeed a vampire, a terrifying creature active in the night.

”What a delicious feast.”

The vampire licked his lips, wantonly absorbing the essence of life on the battlefield.

He walked among the corpses, lightly waving his fingers, causing each stream of blood to swiftly fly to him, absorbed entirely by him.

However, just as he was immersed in this blood feast, a gust of wind came, and he immediately alertly looked up.

Under the moonlight, David descended from the sky.

He wielded a longsword, its blade also shimmering with silver light.

”Who are you?”

The vampire asked coldly.

He surprisingly sensed a dangerous aura from this figure.

”That’s a question I should be asking you.”

”Are you a wizard or a vampire?”

David said coldly.

”Heh, what if I am a vampire?” The vampire said indifferently.

In the next moment, his figure suddenly transformed into a blood light, displaying incredible speed, pouncing directly at the human before him!

Vampires are naturally endowed with frightening physical traits, possessing speed, tremendous strength, and rapid recovery, among other powerful physical capabilities!

This particular vampire’s strength had reached Tier Five, and even a typical Tier Five Knight would likely be no match for this vampire!

David, witnessing this, casually threw a punch.

Using Extraordinary Perception, he captured the vampire’s every move.

His Extraordinary Speed made his punch faster than the vampire’s movements; by the time the vampire reacted, his figure had already been sent flying!

The terrifying explosive force of Extraordinary Power made the vampire feel as if all his bones were emitting a cracking sound, and his body was flung like a rag doll, heavily crashing against the city wall!

Just one round of confrontation, and the outcome was decided.

Their strength levels weren’t even in the same league!

The vampire’s figure struggled to lift his head, looking at the human before him with utter fear; he had never imagined this human would be so strong!

In terms of both speed and strength, he was utterly crushed!

”Are you Duke Frost Wolf?” His face was exceedingly unsightly.

This city had only Duke Frost Wolf with such strength, and it far exceeded his expectations; this was by no means an ordinary Tier Six Knight!
