Wizard: Stronger through Marriage

Chapter 127: Chapter 108: Contract, David’s Magic Pet! (Part 3)

The Ghost Wolf Beast continued to growl lowly.

But as it sensed the stronger bloodline power emanating from David, its voice grew softer and the struggle was evident in its eyes.

Ultimately, under David’s fist, it whimpered, its eyes pleading. It felt that if it continued, it would surely be beaten to death!

Only then did David stop, tossing the barely breathing Ghost Wolf Beast to the ground.

”Cooperate a bit from now on,” David said in Beast Language.

He then released his Beastification ability and dragged the Ghost Wolf Beast back to the battlefield, throwing it to the ground and exhaling slightly.

At this moment, Annie was beside the Earth Dragon Beast, using herbs with healing effects to stop the Earth Dragon Beast’s bleeding, covered in blood, with a tense expression on her face.

Fortunately, with her herbs and the Earth Dragon Beast’s strong self-healing ability, its bleeding gradually stopped, and Annie breathed a heavy sigh of relief.

It was only then she realized that Duke Frost Wolf had already returned, and the Ghost Wolf Beast, lying on the ground, its fate uncertain, clearly signaled the end of the battle.

Unconsciously, her gaze fell on David’s face, recalling that, at the last moment when she was near death, she thought of Duke Frost Wolf, and her heart skipped a beat.

”Are you hurt?” David asked with concern.

”I’m fine.”

Annie stood up, shaking her head.

Then, she looked at David, sincerely saying, ”Thank you for saving me.”

David squinted, jokingly saying, ”So how are you going to thank me?”

Annie was taken aback, hesitating, ”How do you want me to thank you?”

”Sleep with me.”

David said almost without a second thought.

He wanted to sleep with her, and he believed Annie had long since sensed that.

He didn’t feel embarrassed about this; he had practically written his desire to sleep with her on his face and was now simply voicing it aloud.

Annie’s face instantly flushed, and she bit her lip, saying, ”We’ll talk about it later.”

”Does that mean you agree?” David pressed on.

Annie did not answer clearly, muttering something indistinguishable, and returned to check on the Earth Dragon Beast, which was now breathing steadily, finally allowing her to fully relax and sit on the ground, realizing she was drenched.

That recent fight was indeed too dangerous. If the Lord Duke hadn’t arrived in time, she would certainly have died beneath the Ghost Wolf Beast’s claws!

Thinking of this, her face reddened again, recalling her previous thoughts, her heart thumping rapidly, and there was some confusion in her eyes.

What was happening to her?

Even if she had indeed agreed to him, her heart needn’t race this fast, right?

But she was sure; she no longer resisted it.

If that’s the case, she should try to accept it, whether it’s following her true feelings or to express gratitude, it was necessary to give it a try.

What happened next was simple.

David first awakened the unconscious Ghost Wolf Beast, then personally made a Spirit Contract with it, making the Tier Five Ghost Wolf Beast his Magic Pet.

After all, Ghost Wolf Beasts were different from the spineless Earth Dragon Lizards; he didn’t trust handing it to someone else, so he had to contract it himself.

However, the Ghost Wolf Beast indeed looked quite handsome, perfectly matching his identity as Duke Frost Wolf. In the future, it could also serve as a majestic riding pet, undoubtedly drawing attention wherever he went.

Everything went smoothly.

The Ghost Wolf Beast truly acknowledged David as its master.

Thus, when the Spirit Contract commenced, it didn’t resist at all.

This was David’s first time establishing a Spirit Contract with a Magic Pet.

Upon completing the Spirit Contract, he felt the connection between himself and the Ghost Wolf Beast, being able to command it in battle directly through the contract!

”Let’s go, time to head back,” David said with a smile.

Later, with the help of the strong Earth Dragon Lizard, the heavily injured Earth Dragon Beast was transported back to the Wizard Castle, handed over to Ye Zi for treatment.

Seeing the heavy injuries on the Earth Dragon Beast and Annie covered in blood, everyone was startled. Fortunately, Annie explained that the blood was from the Earth Dragon Beast.

Thereafter, she recounted the situation, astonishing everyone. If the Lord Duke hadn’t arrived in time, the consequences would have been unthinkable!

Fortunately, everything passed without mishap. The Lord Duke not only saved Annie but also succeeded in contracting the Tier Five Ghost Wolf Beast!

With this Tier Five Ghost Wolf Beast, the strength of Frost Wolf Ridge was enhanced once more.

However, that another Extraordinary Magical Beast had slipped through the Sealing Barrier from the Black Forest into the Frost Wolf Forest signified that there was indeed a problem with the Sealing Barrier, and more Extraordinary Magical Beasts might appear soon!

This represented significant danger, but it was also an opportunity. As long as they continuously captured and contracted these Tier Four or even Tier Five Extraordinary Magical Beasts, the strength of Frost Wolf Ridge could steadily increase!

Now, what they must do is enhance their strength continuously before the true danger arrives, allowing them the courage and power to confront any threat!

...

That night.

Since they had returned safely, it was naturally time to fulfill the agreement.

Annie, with her shoulder-length flaxen hair, wore a snow-white long dress.

Having made up her mind, she no longer hesitated.

As before, on the top-floor balcony of the third floor, David was waiting.

Seeing Annie arrive as promised, a smile appeared on his face.

Especially since he knew what would happen next, David’s heart couldn’t help but beat faster, eager to take Annie back to the room.

But rationality calmed him down, prompting him to engage Annie in emotional exchange.

”Didn’t you want to sleep with me?”

Annie turned around, speaking calmly, ”Let’s go.”

David awkwardly rubbed his nose, but when the opportunity was right there, he didn’t want to think about anything else, quickly catching up to Annie and reaching out to hold her hand.

The two of them, one after the other, walked toward the room.

Under the moonlight, their shadows gradually overlapped.
