Wizard: Stronger through Marriage

Chapter 113: Chapter 103: Soul Absorption, Consecutive Breakthroughs

David thought this and continued to increase the output.

He actively revealed his Tier Six Frost Wolf Spirit, and when the almost tangible Frost Wolf Spirit entered Reina’s spiritual world, she actually felt a sense of oppression from the soul, and couldn’t help but widen her eyes slightly.

”Is this... a Frost Giant Wolf?”

Reina felt the Frost Wolf Spirit in front of her looked somewhat familiar.

David didn’t say much. The Frost Wolf Spirit stepped forward and directly began a soul communication with Reina’s Snow Demon Spirit, their spiritual powers merging together.

Currently, with a Tier Six Frost Wolf Spirit and Tier Four spiritual power, David provided a significant enhancement to Reina’s spiritual power, allowing the strength of her Snow Demon Spirit to take a leap, and her spiritual power began to be constantly enhanced!

This was the first time David had revealed the Frost Wolf Spirit for divine communication, and the effect was far stronger than he had imagined. It wasn’t until a mass of spiritual power from the Frost Wolf Spirit fully merged into Reina’s Snow Demon Spirit that David ended the divine communication.

[You completed a cultivation session. Snow Demon Spirit +383, gained a talent ability: Soul Absorption]

Suddenly, a completely different voice sounded, causing David to freeze.

He had originally just wanted to try helping Reina enhance her Snow Demon Spirit and spiritual power using his Frost Wolf Spirit, completely unaware that he would gain a new ability in the process!

Moreover, it turned out to be Soul Absorption, an ability related to soul power, clearly representing the soul talent of the Snow Demon Spirit!

The Snow Demon Spirit can not only control Ice Power but also manipulate soul power. In legend, the Snow Demon is a powerful undead creature!

”Reina, I want more.”

”Hmm, alright.”

Reina didn’t know what had happened, but she cooperated enthusiastically.

...

Until lunchtime.

Only then did the two tidy up and leave the council hall.

After lunch.

Reina went to City Hall, planning to handle her official duties.

Liya, meanwhile, began to arrange matters within the castle. Now the former old butler had stepped down, and all matters in the castle were arranged by Liya.

Cynthia, knowing it was study time, glanced around and said she was going to check on the training Gray Wolves, and then sneaked out.

Though she is a Witch, she is indeed not good at studying.

Moreover, she enjoys freedom and dislikes being confined to a study to read, so David let Cynthia do as she pleased.

In comparison, Cynthia’s personality and abilities were indeed more suited to the path of a Knight.

The combination of the Nine-tailed Fox Breathing Technique and Beastification Ability enables Cynthia to exert her strongest combat power, so there’s no need to intentionally learn other spells.

As for the enhancement of the Beastification Talent, with David’s system feedback, there would inevitably be a breakthrough one day.

Then, Amy and Hill returned to the study, intending to continue exchanging and studying wizard-related knowledge, aiming to unlock the ”Earth Wizard Inheritance”.

David’s spiritual power had broken through to Tier Four, reaching an intermediate wizard level, and he could already start learning intermediate zero-ring illusions.

And the spells ”Mud into Stone” and ”Fossil to Mud” recorded in the book ”Earth Wizard Inheritance” are precisely intermediate zero-ring illusions!

Now, Amy and Hill were trying to decipher the magic models of these two intermediate illusions and then help David construct the magic models for these spells.

David, meanwhile, took the opportunity to leave Frost Wolf Castle and head towards the prison of Frost Wolf Castle, planning to try out the newly acquired Soul Absorption ability.

From the name of this magic-like ability of the Snow Demon Spirit, it can be inferred that it is a kind of power that acts upon the opponent’s soul.

In Frost Wolf Castle’s prison, many criminals were held, most of whom were some troublemaking bandits. They burst into the Frost Wolf Ridge alongside the refugees and were caught by the Gray Wolves before they could commit any crimes.

David felt no psychological burden regarding these bandits. After entering the underground prison, he directly had the Prison Guard take two bandits to the bottommost cell and then sent these guards far away, not allowing anyone to approach.

”Lord, have mercy, Lord, have mercy.”

The two bandits saw David and immediately knelt down and kowtowed.

But David ignored them, stepped forward, and placed his hand on one of the bandit’s heads, directly activating the soul talent ability of the Snow Demon Spirit—Soul Absorption!

David’s eyes were cold and resolute; his fingers lightly touched the bandit’s forehead, and an invisible force instantly surged out, beginning to infiltrate the depths of the bandit’s soul.

In that instant, the surrounding air seemed to freeze, and the cold aura emanating from David made him look like a powerful Witch Demon!

Soul Absorption, the special talent derived from the Snow Demon Spirit, not only allows the absorption of enemy souls but also seems to extract their memories and will.

During this process, David could feel the fear and despair flooding from the bandit’s soul like a tide, along with fragmented pieces.

The bandit’s body began to tremble, his eyes lost all vitality, leaving only emptiness and confusion. His soul continued to fade, and his body became weak, eventually collapsing limply to the ground, leaving only an empty shell.

David withdrew his hand, and the bandit’s soul had already been absorbed into the Frost Wolf Spirit, then converted into pure spiritual power!

With a wave of one hand, this pure spiritual power formed a ball of light floating in front of him, now devoid of any trace of that bandit.

By relying on the Frost Wolf Spirit and Soul Absorption, it was actually possible to directly convert the opponent’s soul into pure spiritual power, allowing him to absorb and strengthen his spiritual power!

David’s eyes flickered as he turned to look at the other bandit.

Seeing the miserable state of his companion, this bandit had already been frightened out of his wits. Seeing the Lord look at him, he backed away repeatedly, shouting ”Devil.”

”This is not my wish, but your choices have sealed your fate.” David said in a low voice, activating the Soul Absorption ability again.

As the second bandit fell, his soul was absorbed by the Snow Demon Spirit, then integrated into it and transformed into pure spiritual power!

David sat down on the spot and began to absorb these two strands of spiritual power through the Meditation Method. Soon he opened his eyes, squinting slightly.

He could indeed feel his spiritual power increase a bit, but only a bit, likely due to the weakness of these bandits.

If he genuinely wanted to use the Soul Absorption ability to enhance his spiritual power, he would need to find powerful soul targets, then it might be effective.

”However, I could collect some spiritual power for Reina’s Snow Demon Spirit to absorb and transform, helping her better enhance her spiritual power.” David thought to himself, though finding suitable targets would not be easy.

Unluckily, when he killed Divar at that time, he hadn’t yet mastered the Soul Absorption ability; otherwise, he could have tried to see how much spiritual power converted from an Earth Knight’s soul could enhance his spiritual power intensity.

”After all, this is a method of enhancing spiritual power, and using the Soul Absorption allows for the chance to gain some of the target’s memories and will, which can be useful, perhaps even leading to some surprising discoveries.” David thought to himself, planning to use this ability on the next enemy, to completely obliterate their form and spirit, erasing their soul entirely!

He stood up, his gaze falling on the bodies of the two bandits, and the Ice Power surged, directly freezing the two until there were only empty shells left lying there.

...

The night came.

In David’s master bedroom.

Lying on the large bed was Liya, Amy, Reina, Cynthia, and Hill.

This bed was specially custom-made by a carpenter for David during this time.

”Ladies, I’m here,” said David as he entered the room, his voice filled with pride.

His gaze swept over the embarrassed women, and a smile of satisfaction graced his face. Having these five beautiful wives was indeed a source of pride!

”Ladies, it’s time for bed,” David said gently, joining them on the bed.
