Chapter 127 Not Now
”What, what? Leave it to me?”

He Luo thought he had heard it wrong, so he repeated it in shock.

It’s not because he’s not interested in the quota of this excellent merchant, on the contrary, it’s an achievement he’s coveted for a long time.

It’s just that he knew that Li Jinfu had held this title for a long time, and he still had a certain reputation among the surrounding merchants. He really couldn’t think of any reason why Li Jinfu would be willing to take the initiative to give up the quota of outstanding merchants to himself.

Huaiyuanshan explained with a smile: ”To be precise, leave it to us.”

What he meant by what he said was that Li Jinfu planned to hand over the outstanding merchants to Miaoguo, which was jointly owned by him, He Luo and Li Pengxin, which meant that Li Jinfu recognized Miaoguo’s performance on Yongping Street.

It can barely be considered that He Luo and Li Pengxin took advantage of Huaiyuan Mountain, after all, only Huaiyuan Mountain and Li Jinfu have a deep friendship among the three.

But even so, He Luo still felt that something was wrong. It didn’t make sense that Li Jinfu would take the initiative to give up the position of an excellent merchant because of his good relationship with Huaiyuan Mountain.

It’s a matter of one size fits all, and it’s not appropriate to put them together.

More importantly, excellent merchants are not something that can be given away at will. It is a bit like a teacher giving three good students when he was a child.

It is impossible for a teacher to award the quota of three good students to others because of the recommendation of a good student.

It can only be evaluated by combining morality, intelligence, physique, art and labor.

The same is true for excellent merchants.

Even if Li Jinfu, the winner of the ”Three Good Students” award, takes the initiative to give up this award, many other merchants will not agree.

In the end, it has to be audited by professional judges, and each store is given a fair, just and open score, and then the merchants score each other to get the final score.

There is no link called ”the old king appoints the new king”.

That’s why He Luocai was shocked and felt a little strange, why did Old Man Li give this title to him.

”No, no, no, Brother Huai, what I mean is, shouldn’t an excellent merchant be like a moving red flag? Why does your tone sound like a drum-passing game?”

Huaiyuanshan smiled and waved his hands: ”What about red flags and flowers? To put it bluntly, you are just worried that Brother Li won’t be able to give you this spot, right?”

He seemed to have reached He Luo’s heart, and He Luo nodded immediately.
”Yes, is it possible?”

”Of course.” Huaiyuanshan replied as it should.
Then he asked He Luo to sit down and listen to him carefully.

”Excellent merchants are, to put it bluntly, just a comprehensive evaluation of the merchants themselves. Although direct transfer is not possible, if Mr. Li wants to give up on his own initiative, it is very simple to give up this quota. For example, if he happens to be testing those few Something like a trap comes from the sky.”

He Luo nodded thoughtfully: ”However, even if Brother Li loses the qualification to compete, then there is still one.”

He suddenly became silent. He originally wanted to say that in addition to Jiulian Food Store, there are dozens of merchants on Yongping Street waiting for quotas in the outstanding merchant competition?

There are too many monks and too little gruel, so how can we ensure that it will definitely fall on one’s head?

But after thinking about it for a while, with the current layout of Yongping Street, except for Jiulian Non-staple Food Store, it is Miaoguo, and the situation of the two dominating is already an undisclosed secret.

In addition, the merchants on Yongping Street seem to be more Buddhist, which can be seen from their ability to send a tepid non-staple food restaurant to the throne of outstanding merchants in previous years’ selections.

Therefore, they naturally have no competition for the position of outstanding merchants.

The reason why he felt that Miaoguo’s excellent merchant position was not stable before was because of the existence of the former excellent merchant Jiulian Food Store, and the recent growth and prosperity of Uncle Li’s Oden, so he was always unsure.

But if it is known that Li Jinfu voluntarily withdraws from the competition, then wouldn’t the selection of outstanding merchants this time be none other than their wonderful fruit?

Seeing the expression on Huaiyuanshan’s face suddenly, He Luo suddenly understood.

”Wonderful, Brother Huai, does this mean that we are determined to win this outstanding merchant?”

Huaiyuanshan nodded: ”That’s true, but we must not take it lightly. We must work hard to manage Miaoguo, and we must be worthy of the title of the excellent merchant that Brother Li gave us.”

”That’s for sure.” He Luo patted his chest, meaning to cover him.

Naturally, he will not take it lightly because of this, the wonderful fruit is also his own property, and the determination to make it good is not comparable to others.

More importantly, his goal is not just an excellent merchant.

It was the excellent merchant exchange conference at the end of the year in Cannes, which must be attended by the name of an excellent merchant. The ultimate goal was to win the title of the gold medal merchant, which is what the industry calls ”leading”.

If he wants to be nominated or even win an award, He Luo feels that the current wonderful results are not enough, and he must do better.

So he patted Huaiyuanshan on the shoulder, and said confidently: ”Brother Huai, don’t worry, I won’t take it lightly just because someone offered to give up my position. This is my principle, and I won’t give up easily.”

”It’s just that I don’t understand one thing. Why did Brother Li give up this position? Could it be that this excellent merchant is no longer attractive to Brother Li? Doesn’t make sense?”

Huaiyuanshan smiled knowingly, and pointed behind He Luo: ”If you ask me, why don’t you just ask Brother Li.”

He Luo turned around and found that Li Jinfu had been standing behind him at some point, looking at him with a smile.

”Yo, Brother Li, are you done?”

Li Jinfu pointed to the oden stall that had finished behind him: ”Haha, there are too many customers today. Once again, there is not enough oden to sell, so we have to close early.”

”Congratulations!” He Luo sighed sincerely: ”Since they can be sold out every day, has Brother Li considered increasing the sales volume?”

Li Jinfu shook his head: ”Not yet. As you can see, just these oden dishes are enough to keep me busy for a long time. If I add more, my old bones will not be broken.”

Huaiyuanshan joked at the side: ”When you were free, you always said that you were about to fade out. Now that you have business, you are afraid of exhausting yourself. Old man Li, you say you, how strange.”

Li Jinfu pretended to be angry and glared at him: ”It’s just that you talk too much, I call it... How do you say that word, double standard!”

I didn’t expect that Li Jinfu, who is 60 years old, would double-label such trendy words, which made He Luo very happy.

He Luo laughed and said, ”That’s okay. Brother Li can consider recruiting new staff, or simply expand the scale of Oden cooking. This is not a good thing that kills two birds with one stone.”

When Li Jinfu heard it, he felt that it was feasible: ”It’s not that I haven’t thought about finding people and expanding the store, um. It’s really worth a try, but it’s not now.”
