Chapter 124 The Encounter Was an Accident

Chapter 124 The Encounter Was an Accident
After being completely satiated, He Luo took another big sip of Ningle, and even put the slice of lemon in his mouth, chewed it and spit it out.

Muttered: ”Hey, why are lemons salty? It’s really strange.”

Qiao Qiao on the opposite side had already finished eating, and stared at He Luo for a long time with his chin resting on his hands, without speaking, just watching.

”Have you eaten yet?” Jojo smiled.

”Well, I’m full, I’m completely full now.” He Luo patted his stomach contentedly, touched his stomach, and felt that all internal organs were being nourished by wonderful food.

Now go back and sleep beautifully, and the mental power you used will be almost recovered, right? It’s just that eating too much seafood may be a bit high in purines
Thinking in his mind, he heard Qiao Qiao speak slowly.

”Seriously, you are the most eclectic person I have ever seen eating.”

He Luo thought for a while about how Jojo used the word ”eclectic” in his eating movements.

”So, can I take it that you are complimenting me?”

”Of course.” Qiao Qiao nodded: ”When I first met you, I thought you were a little devil with a full belly, but I didn’t expect you to be quite down-to-earth occasionally.”

”My grandpa told me since I was a child that a person’s behavior at the dinner table can reflect his real life. Now it seems that you are not only an honest and generous person, but also some...” Qiaoqiao thought for a while and used He tapped his chin with his finger and gave an adjective: ”Heroic.”

In He Luo’s imagination, Qiao Qiao must have regarded himself as a strong man in ancient inns who warmed a pot of wine and cut three pounds of beef.

But what’s wrong with a strong man, if he lifts his robe to reveal his sword box, he is a swordsman in the world of mortals.

If there are two fish-gut swords hidden in it, it is the desperate assassin who assassinated Wang Liao.

If you don’t wear anything under the robe, you are a shameless exhibitionist.

Or a pornographer who defies the law.

After the meal, they both sat down in their seats and started chatting again.

They talked about their ideals, their outlook on life, and their outlook on choosing friends. Only then did they feel like dating or even a blind date.

When talking about the concept of choosing a mate, Qiao Qiao said frankly that she likes someone who is younger than herself, and her last boyfriend was three years younger than her.

Just as what Luo said at the beginning, although her motherhood is not overwhelming, it is still more than other women of the same age.

She enjoys the sense of satisfaction and happiness of taking care of her younger brother, which she can’t feel from those greasy middle-aged people at all.

”Aren’t you just making an excuse for your old cow to eat tender grass?” He Luo couldn’t help but complain.

Qiao Qiao was unexpectedly not angry, but admitted with a bit of resignation: ”Yes, I am already an old cow in the eyes of others, and my family has urged me to marry more than once.”

”Your family is urging you to get married, but didn’t you have a boyfriend before? Why didn’t you consider getting married? Could it be because you guys are having an underground affair?” He Luo asked curiously
Qiao Qiao shook her head: ”I never hide my relationship with the people around me. On the contrary, I even take the initiative to tell them. As for the fact that we didn’t get together in the end, it may be because... I don’t like him anymore. ”

She didn’t say why she didn’t like that ex, nor did she say what specific things she didn’t like about him that made it impossible to be together in the end.

At a very early age, around adolescence, Qiao Qiao discovered that she was a personality called avoidant attachment, which was a bit like a sexually unrequited person.

The specific manifestation is that, due to natural reasons, they yearn for intimacy and fall in love with other people like normal people.

But after learning that the other party likes him very much, not only will Qiao Qiao not feel happy in his heart, but he will feel disgusted by the other party, and will hate and resent the other party. Once the intimate relationship is confirmed, the whole person will start to alienate and reject.

Whether it is the predecessor or the former predecessor, it is generally the case.

The reason why she didn’t tell He Luo was because she was afraid that He Luo would take the initiative to stay away from her if she knew her actual situation.

But in her heart, she still had fantasies about He Luo, longing to know more about the little guy in front of her, and wanting to invite him to come and see her world, but she was afraid that she would eventually be alienated because of her quirks of unrequited love.

She longs for love, but is afraid of love, too much enthusiasm will only make her want to escape. She has a low self-esteem and is very good at disguising.

She has her own castle, which is filled with exquisite porcelain. She guards the entrance of the castle well. People in the past praise her castle. She can talk freely, is very friendly and enthusiastic, and always gives people a very pleasant feeling. It’s easy to get along with.

But she has low self-esteem in her heart. She yearns for a perfect self, and often cannot face herself, wrapping herself up and pretending to be very good.

When someone wants to enter her castle, she is full of anticipation and anxiety. She wants to share her treasure with others but is afraid that others will see it as worthless, but she regards it as a treasure.

People with avoidant attachment personality are like this. They hide their true selves, want people to understand them, and are afraid that they will hate their true selves after they understand themselves.I’ve been conflicting and struggling all the time.

Qiaoqiao is now in such a dilemma, struggling with himself.

As for He Luoma, he just kept silent after hearing her mention her ex-boyfriend, thinking that Qiao Qiao must have a sad past.

Maybe this man hurt her severely, maybe he cheated on her, maybe he came out of the closet, in short it had to be a cuckold type of betrayal to make the girl make up her mind to leave him.

But looking back, I found that this ex was actually quite nice, with good taste in clothes, caring for others when eating, warm and caring on weekdays, and giving small gifts during festivals.

Everywhere except infidelity.

However, a principled issue was violated, so there may be no turning back between them.

That’s why Qiao Qiao kept silent about her ex-boyfriend, and naturally there was no talk of marriage.

Thinking of this, he inexplicably began to doubt the authenticity of what Jojo said before, ”I like myself”.

Maybe Jojo is just a simple love between friends?Or was that how she made friends?
Neither of them had an answer in their hearts, and the atmosphere at the dinner table froze for the first time.

The air seemed to be full of ice particles, which were poking into the lungs along the nose and throat.

Jojo said, let’s go out for a walk.

Without thinking about it, He Luo agreed.

The two of them walked aimlessly along the path beside the street, blowing the cool evening breeze.

Walking through the busiest street, I passed by a video store, a coffee house, and a bar in the corner.

When passing through the shopping mall, Qiao Qiao’s face was almost stuck in front of the glass of the luxury store, but he just looked at it, being a Window Shopper (a person who only looks but does not buy)
Finally, bypassing the downtown area, we came to a slightly secluded artificial lake.

Along the way, they didn’t say anything, but they felt a sense of comfort and relaxation for no reason.

”We met by accident”
