Chapter 2438 Demonic Servant

”I wasnʼt expecting much when I accepted your blood, but to think it would evolve my bloodline and boost my power this much!” Lev laughed out loud, his cultivation now at the 4th level False God after accepting Yuanʼs blood.

Yuan looked at him with a raised eyebrow and remarked, ”Youʼre awfully excited for someone who just turned into a servant.”

”Is it so weird? I agreed to be your servant without any guarantees, you know?” He replied.

”Huh? You knew youʼd become my servant after accepting my blood?”

”Why do you look so puzzled? Donʼt tell me you gave me your blood without knowing about this?” Lev stared at him with a dumbfounded face.

Yuan nodded and admitted, ”I wonʼt lie. I had no idea itʼd turn you into my servant.”

”Oh…” Lev immediately lowered his head, looking disappointed.

”So you wouldnʼt have given me your blood if you knew? I mean, I knew it was too good to be true—that someone as powerful as you would ask a nobody like me to be your servant.”

Yuan shook his head and said, ”Thatʼs not it. I wouldʼve asked you properly if I knew.”

”You mean you donʼt mind having a coward like me as your servant?” Levʼs eyes widened, looking somewhat dazed.

”Although you were definitely one when we first met, youʼve changed a lot.”

”But weʼve just met…”

In Levʼs eyes, even spending a few decades together was no different than meeting only a few days ago.

”It may seem short to you, but in my eyes, weʼve known each other long enough. If you donʼt want to be my servant, just say so, and Iʼll release you… if thatʼs even possible.”

”No way!” Lev hastily shook his head in response, even distancing himself from Yuan. ”Please allow me to be your servant! I promise I will not disappoint you!”

Yuan nodded and said, ”I can keep giving you my blood indefinitely as long as you are my servant, so youʼll be able to traverse Death Paradise without any issues.”

Some time later, they returned to the others.

”Whatʼs with that appearance?” Supreme Ruler Dena immediately inquired about Levʼs transformation.

Lev rubbed his nose in a prideful manner and opened his mouth, but before he could speak, Supreme Ruler Dena approached him and remarked while sniffing the air around him, ”Why do you smell like Yuan?”

”I accepted his blood and performed the Blood Servant Pact, which resulted in my bloodline growing stronger and my evolution,” Lev explained.

”...”

Supreme Ruler Dena stared at him with a stunned expression on her face, as did Gutou and Supreme Ruler Grant.

”You… performed the Blood Servant Pact with Yuan…?” Supreme Ruler Dena mumbled in a low voice, sounding a little in disbelief.

”Give me some of your blood,” Supreme Ruler Grant suddenly said.

”What? Why?”

”I want to examine it.”

Lev looked at Yuan for his permission, who responded with a nonchalant shrug, basically saying he doesnʼt care.

Lev proceeded to give a drop of his blood to Supreme Ruler Grant.

”What the hell is this?! Your bloodline is comparable to a noble!” Supreme Ruler Grant exclaimed in shock a moment later.

”What?!” Lev cried out loud after hearing this, looking just as shocked as Supreme Ruler Grant, if not even more.

In the Demonic Realm, having a noble-grade bloodline was akin to being a Demon Emperor in the Nine Heavens, with Supreme Rulers being Ancient Demons.

”But I was born with an ordinary bloodline…” Lev swallowed nervously.

Lev was born as a Lower Demon, the lowest ranking demon. However, his bloodline evolved and is now comparable to a Demon Emperor after accepting Yuanʼs blood. This much growth was unprecedented. ”For your bloodline to have advanced this much… itʼs honestly terrifying.” Supreme Ruler Grant turned to Yuan, his gaze filled with dread.

Yuan could now, in essence, create as many Demon Emperors as he wished simply by sharing his blood. With such power, he could effortlessly raise an army of Demon Emperors and seize dominion over the entire Demonic Realm.

Meanwhile, a very different thought flashed through Supreme Ruler Denaʼs mind as she wondered what might happen if someone like her—a Supreme Ruler—were to accept his blood.

When Yuan saw Supreme Ruler Grantʼs worried face, he smiled and said, ”I know what youʼre thinking. However, I have no interest in raising an army of demons. That being said, if you piss me off, I might do it just to spite you.”

Supreme Ruler Grant trembled at such words, and he quietly swore inwardly that heʼd never offend Yuan.

”Um… may I shamelessly ask if I can also be your servant?” Gutou suddenly asked with an awkward smile on his face.

Yuan looked at him and said, ”Iʼll think about it.”

”Thank you!” Gutou immediately bowed.

”What about me?” Supreme Ruler Dena suddenly asked.

”What? You must be joking,” Yuan said.

However, when he turned and saw her serious face, he immediately became perplexed.

”I am not joking,” she calmly said.

”Youʼre a Supreme Ruler, you know? And I know youʼre not the type of person whoʼd willingly lower your head to another, regardless of their identity.”

Supreme Ruler Dena shook her head and replied, ”I donʼt know where you got that information since I have never said such a thing. While itʼs true that I have never once considered being beneath someone, itʼs simply because there is nobody even close to being worthy of my admiration.”

”In fact, youʼre the first person to ever earn my admiration and respect, and that was ages ago when you were Tian Chenyu. If itʼs you right now, I donʼt mind lowering my head for you, not to mention how much stronger youʼll get in the future.”

”...”

Everyone there stared at Supreme Ruler Dena with their mouths agape, as theyʼve never thought she was capable of uttering such words.

After a long moment of silence, Yuan cleared his throat and spoke in a stiff voice, ”I will… think about it.”
