Chapter 2411  Void Manipulation Training

ʼThe Immortal Monarchʼs Bloodline makes my blood a delicacy for beasts, but demons arenʼt beasts, so it shouldnʼt taste any different to them,ʼ Yuan mused. ʼIf my regeneration ability affects how my blood tastes to demons, though, that would explain why Dena thinks itʼs gotten better…ʼ

In the past, Tian Chenyu had gained regeneration on par with demons simply by consuming their cores, and even then Supreme Ruler Dena claimed his blood tasted better than demon blood. Yuanʼs regeneration had long since surpassed Tian Chenyuʼs peak, so it made sense that his blood now tasted even better than before.

Moreover, stronger demons had stronger regeneration and thus, stronger blood techniques.

”How long until we arrive at the City of Blood?” Yuan asked.

”About a thousand five hundred years at our current pace,” Purple replied calmly, as though such a span of time were nothing out of the ordinary.

After all, with their limitless longevity, their perception of time had long since become skewed.

”There must be a faster way to get there. Canʼt we just use teleport formations?” Yuan asked.

”Teleport formations? Do you have any idea how tiring it is to use those? We will also need to use them several times, so Iʼll pass on that.” Purple sneered.

Since the Demonic Realm lacked spirit stones, teleportation formations had to be powered by oneʼs own energy. As a result, such methods of travel were rarely used and were typically reserved for emergencies.

As for the Abyssal Councilʼs concealment formation, it was maintained by a dedicated group of demons whose sole purpose was to keep it active, supplying it with energy at all times.

There were, of course, resources that could power formations, but they were considered far too valuable to waste on such uses.

In truth, though, neither of these was Purpleʼs real reason for avoiding the teleport formations. She knew the Supreme Ruler was already aware of their situation and likely preparing for their arrival, so she simply wanted to stall for time.

”Arenʼt you worried about upsetting the Supreme Ruler for making him wait too long?” Yuan asked.

”The Supreme Ruler is a very understanding person, so weʼll be fine,” she said.

”...”

Yuan pondered for a moment before speaking again, ”Oh, I know. We can just travel using Void Manipulation.”

”What?” Purple and Lev turned to look at him with wide eyes.

”Do you have any idea how far the City of Blood is? Nobody can cross that kind of distance with Void Manipulation in a single jump!”

Supreme Ruler Dena wanted to say that she could do exactly that, but it was only if she was at her full strength.

Yuan shook his head.

”Who said anything about doing it in one go? We can just keep hopping short distances until we get there.”

”Thatʼs even more ridiculous! You make Void Manipulation sound easy, but can you even use it? Weʼd spend more energy than if we just used teleport formations!” Purple sighed, feeling like she was talking to someone unreasonably ignorant. Of course, Yuan was aware that it wasnʼt easy using Void Manipulation. However, he saw this as an opportunity to train his Void Manipulation.

He also knew that Purple was trying to stall them, but he couldnʼt care less.

”Umm… I cannot use Void Manipulation…” Lev suddenly said.

”Donʼt worry, Iʼll take you with me,” Yuan said with a smile.

Bringing others into the void would cost more energy, which would only accelerate his training.

”I donʼt even trust you to watch my back, so what makes you think Iʼll trust you not to screw up using Void Manipulation with us?!” Purple exclaimed in disbelief.

Yuan looked at her and shrugged, ”You donʼt have to come with us if you donʼt want to. And just so we are clear, weʼre not following you. Weʼre allowing you to follow us.”

”If you donʼt want to come with me, then youʼre free to chase after us.”

Purple gritted her teeth in frustration, but Yuan was right. If they went ahead and left her behind, there was nothing she could really do about it.

Still, she wasnʼt willing to trust Yuanʼs Void Manipulation and said, ”You can go without me. I want to see how long youʼll be able to keep using it before you run out of energy!”

Yuan nodded and, without hesitation, used Void Manipulation while carrying Lev and Supreme Ruler Dena, traversing several dozen miles in the blink of an eye.

Although Supreme Ruler Dena could easily use Void Manipulation herself, she was still feasting on Yuanʼs blood, and heʼd rather let her conserve her energy.

Meanwhile, Purple also used Void Manipulation to follow them.

Yuan would only emerge from the void for a brief second before entering it again, making it look as though he was teleporting constantly.

The more Yuanʼs proficiency with it increased, the further he was able to traverse in the void.

In just a few short years, Yuanʼs Void Manipulation improved so much that he went from traversing several dozen miles to several hundred miles.

ʼThis guy has been using Void Manipulation nonstop for six years straight while carrying two people, but he doesnʼt seem tired in the slightest! Just how much energy does he have?!ʼ Purple cried inwardly as she was starting to feel exhausted from constantly using Void Manipulation to chase after them.

Using Void Manipulation didnʼt just require spiritual energy. It also required Soul Strength, and most people cannot recover Soul Strength as fast as they could recover spiritual energy.

Of course, there was no way for Purple to know about Yuanʼs unfathomably powerful Soul Strength, as well as his soul cultivation technique that constantly strengthens it.

After another ten years, Purple was completely exhausted and could no longer continue using Void Manipulation.

”W-Wait!” she shouted at them. ”What is it?” Yuan casually used Void Manipulation to teleport in front of her and asked in a nonchalant voice.
