Global Hunt: Start IQ Overwhelms Global Audiences

Page 192Ye Lin said: ”My diving ability is better than yours, isn’t it? There are also thick enough tree trunks here, why don’t I consider using a rope to help you?”

It’s pretty obvious what he means.

This is a threat. If he doesn’t cooperate, Ye Lin can let him feed the local wild animals.

”Okay! I say! I say! Please...don’t do this.”

”Three people! Only three people!”

”...”

It was indeed three people.

But this is not the answer Ye Lin needs.

”your name.”

”Nick.”

He answered honestly, but the man in front of him suddenly grabbed his neck.

”Nick, it looks like we need to get to know each other a bit.”

”Wait... what are you going to do, my words are the truth, there are only three of us! It’s true!”

”is it?”

Ye Lin narrowed his eyes.

Nick’s brain was very clear, his eyes rolled, and he suddenly seemed to remember something, and immediately said.

”Four! There were four of us when we landed on this island, but one betrayed us!”

”So now there are only three people! I’m telling the truth!”

”...”

Ye Lin’s hand slowly loosened.

He had eavesdropped on their conversation before, so he naturally knew about the betrayal, but the reason why he asked was because Ye Lin wanted to test it out.

Only if there is enough threat, and what follows the first sentence, can it be true.

The first sentence is often not credible.

Ye Lin is well aware of this.

Immediately afterwards, he asked: ”Tell me everyone’s information, including appearance, and special places. You should know that we can meet here because we have something we are good at.”

”No, no problem!”

Nick is a smart person, he naturally knows what Ye Lin’s words mean.

Then, he told almost everyone’s appearance and special features.

For example, someone named William, who is actually a rich man, hired other people, including Nick and Susie.

Nick is good at mechanisms and is a talent for cracking mechanisms.

Susie is a professional hunter, or a professional adventurer. She is very good at fighting, has excellent bow skills, and has keen insight.

is a tricky foe.

Ye Lin thinks so.

And the last person...

Nick said: ”It’s a woman, but her previous information is a mystery. We hired talents through a professional intermediary. We only know that she used to be an archaeologist and also a bodyguard, so we spend paid a lot of money to hire her!”

”I swear, I’m telling the truth!”

”...”

archaeologist……

bodyguard.

Very close to agreeing.

Ye Lin continued to ask: ”Wheat-colored skin, very hot body, good at many foreign languages, is my description correct?”

”Uh……”

Nick asked in surprise: ”Dude, do you know that woman?”

But as soon as the words fell, the knife was placed on his neck: ”Now I will ask you to answer, not a question-and-answer game.”

Nick immediately raised his hand: ”Okay, okay, I understand, she really has this feature!”

”Laura?”

”Laura? . . . No, her name is Elizabeth. It’s a nice name, isn’t it?”

Elizabeth? !

Not only Ye Lin.

And Zhang San, who heard these words from the walkie-talkie, couldn’t help being stunned.

”How could it be Elizabeth! How could she do this dangerous job?!”

Zhang San couldn’t believe it: ”Could it be that Elizabeth deceived us all?!”

”Do not.”

Ye Lin directly denied his idea.

”Based on what Laura did, it’s probably a deliberate change of name to avoid people who deliberately investigate, and Laura’s name is probably Elizabeth’s current name.”

”Yelin, why do you think so?”

”...”

Ye Lin felt a little headache, he couldn’t say that he and Elizabeth had ’rolled over’ the sheets.

With Elizabeth’s body shape and thighs... definitely not a well-trained bodyguard with strong physical fitness.

”Well, from the appearance description, it can only be Laura.”

”Ah.”

Now that it was confirmed that Laura was on this island, Ye Lin finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Zhang San immediately asked; ”How are you going to deal with this guy?”

”deal with……”

Ye Lin glanced back at Nick.

He replied: ”He is a professional mechanic who is good at mechanisms, and he needs to return to the team.”

”But Ye Lin, you need to shut him up, don’t you?”

”……this is a problem.”

Ye Lin put away the walkie-talkie.

He deliberately amplified the volume of the following words just now.

Nick immediately said: ”Brother, I will never forget your life-saving grace, let me go back, I promise I won’t betray you!”

”...”

Ye Lin pushed forward step by step.

”Please buddy, you trust me!”

”...”

Ye Lin went up two more steps, then stopped, lowered his head and said: ”The treasure is yours, I just need to find someone.”

”Looking for someone? Is Elizabeth?”

”Yes, you will understand.”

In the next few minutes, Ye Lin used his superb words and some simple words to hypnotize him.

Tied Elizabeth’s identity with him, and in order to be more convincing, the relationship was elevated to a lover.

And a woman who is a former archaeologist and career bodyguard, her object is an equally powerful man is very convincing.

”All right……”

Nick nodded: ”Man, your love story is very touching, at least I was moved by it, and you also promised treasure.”

”I promise you, I will never say anything about tonight in my life.”

”I escaped the attack of the wild beast, fell into the water, managed to climb ashore, and fell into a coma for a while, then I followed the mark and returned to the team.”

”Everything will be very natural!”

In Nick’s description, Ye Lin was perfectly excluded. After all, who would believe that such a lifesaver would suddenly appear on an uninhabited island?

Still an idiot.

”It’s safe here.”

Ye Lin put a portable oxygen cylinder in front of him, ”You have the ability to live until dawn, and you need to work hard on the rest.”

After the words fell, Ye Lin planned to leave.

”Wait, where are you going? It’s dangerous now.”

There are wild beasts roaming outside, and it would be impossible to get out of here.

So he added the ’coma’ part in the fabricated script, which not only increases the convincing force, but also finds a perfect excuse for his cowardice.

Ye Lin paused for a moment, then turned his head and said, ”I need to eliminate the danger for your companions, otherwise it will be difficult for them to survive until dawn.”

”……All right.”

Although Nick didn’t know whether the man in front of him had a reason to protect them, he had no choice.

”Good luck.”

Chapter 193 Prince Charming

”We have arrived.”

The night was dark.

Under a huge stone statue in the center of the uninhabited island, Susie and the two arrived.

”I don’t think you can find any useful clues in the environment here.”

Su Xi looked around cautiously.

”Okay, ma’am, instead of arguing with me now, why don’t you shine your flashlight over here.”

”what are you going to do?”

Susie saw the man in front of her take out a map in his hand, and the light of the flashlight illuminated every part of the map very clearly.

She is an excellent hunter, so she recognized the map of this island at a glance.

No wonder he said that without him, Li Kai would not be able to open this island.

William spread out the map and pointed out a way.

”It seems that we are very lucky. This is the west, and there is an entrance here.”

”Where is the entrance?”

Susie asked coldly.

”Don’t worry, I’ll take a look.”

”...I hope your speed can be faster, otherwise we will not be able to see the dawn sun.”

”what?”

As soon as William finished speaking, he heard rustling in the surrounding bushes.

Turning his head to look, a pair of dark eyes came into view, and he suddenly opened his eyes wide with horror on his face.

”So there is not much time left for you. Their eyes seem to be looking at us two foreigners.”
