Global Hunt: Start IQ Overwhelms Global Audiences

Page 189The bushes sounded again.

”Damn.”

Suddenly, with a whoosh, the feather arrow flew out, and the sound of piercing through the air was deafening.

The bow and arrow flew into the bushes.

Susie hitched the bow again.

She winked at the two people next to her and asked them to go and have a look.

The leader, William, holds an engineering shovel in his hand. The long handle allows him to do many things, and the front end is sharp, and the back end hides a sharp dagger.

Once out of the scabbard, the shiny silver dagger can cut through everything.

Even on hard stone surfaces.

He went up first.

When he was about two or three steps away from the bushes, he suddenly extended the shovel, and the handle actually hid nearly a meter of length!

He swung wildly.

A sharp shovel splits a bush.

When William saw the arrow, he was taken aback for a moment, and then laughed, ”Haha, it’s a rabbit.”

He went forward and pulled out the arrow, which penetrated deeply into the rabbit and stuck into the soil, and it was very difficult to pull it out.

William pulled it out and held it high as a display.

The two people behind immediately lowered their weapons.

He joked: ”We may have something for dinner tonight.”

Susie put away her compound bow, but said, ”Unfortunately, this rabbit is too small.”

Nick looked helpless: ”We don’t have much time to waste, let’s go.”

”Ok.”

William returned the arrow to Susie, while he hung the rabbit’s body on his waist.

Soon, the three left the scene.

And after they left.

There was a streak of bright red blood in the bushes mixed with the blood from the rabbit’s wound just now, but it was not discernible.

Ye Lin grabbed his left arm and slowly got up.

There was a shallow scratch on his left arm, and blood flowed down in pools.

Chapter 190 Like a Bug

”Their identities should be treasure hunters.”

”Treasure hunter?”

”Yes, you may be unfamiliar with it, but there will always be people in this world who are engaged in complex occupations, or we can call them adventurers.”

”Of course, the premise is that they are indeed this identity.”

”Ok.”

Ye Lin told Zhang San what happened just now, including the dialogue.

Compared to this, Ye Lin was dealing with the wound, and the arrow had just directly grazed his left arm, leaving a scratch.

He couldn’t be sure whether the arrow had been used to hunt other prey before, so he could only disinfect the wound.

After the treatment, Ye Lin changed into his clothes.

The communication of the walkie-talkie is still normal, which means that Zhang San is about ten kilometers away, and he can return within a day with his footsteps.

The premise is that Ye Lin wants to do this.

Zhang San suggested: ”Those guys should be professional hunters. If you fight against them in this environment, you will have no chance of winning.”

”maybe.”

Ye Lin put on the bag again.

”From their conversation, someone betrayed them and stole the equipment that can be used to contact them. Maybe that person is Laura.”

”But it’s impossible to confirm, isn’t it?”

Seeing that the sky was getting dark, the time on this island obviously passed faster than normal time.

A yellow halo has appeared in the sky.

Soon it will be dark.

”They mentioned ’remains’ and ’underground.’”

Ye Lin said briefly.

”A relic? If you look at it from their identities, maybe it’s a rare treasure.”

When Zhang San said this, his words were extremely calm, as if these so-called treasures were dispensable to him.

Naturally, Ye Lin is not interested in this so-called ’treasure’.

But the task of the system is at present, not to mention the system, it is only hypothetical, if the person they are talking about is Laura...

Ye Lin has this reason to continue to follow.

No one knows more about the danger than him.

The arrow left by the lake earlier should have been left by the woman named Susie holding a compound bow just now.

She just recycled the arrow.

There can be substitutes for the arrow itself, but it is not easy to polish a lethal arrow.

”Her archery is superb.”

If it wasn’t for the reaction of the sixth sense just now, maybe Ye Lin would have been shot through. Fortunately, the attack of the sixth sense allowed him to escape.

He didn’t know the level of the other two, but the man named William was the leader of the team.

The other one is called Nick, which is not very conspicuous.

However, Ye Lin has always been cautious. After thinking about it, he decided to follow up.

The effects of potential potions allowed him to adapt quickly even in such a harsh environment.

The only thing Ye Lin is confident about is that compared to the speed of the three of them, he can easily track them down.

While thinking, Ye Lin has chased to a quiet bush.

The front is dark and deep.

Ye Lin swept away a leaf with his feet, and found the hidden footprints, which were very obvious. It was obvious that he stepped on the wet mud just now, and then stepped on the dry ground, so it was very troublesome to eliminate the whereabouts.

So it saves time, just cover it with leaves.

But at the same time, this kind of behavior made Ye Lin have a bolder guess.

There are other people besides them on this island.

All of a sudden, the forces on the entire island became chaotic.

Ye Lin skillfully erased their misleading footprints and followed closely behind them.

”There are other forces? If it’s not a treasure hunter who aims to compete for the treasure, then it should be the local aborigines.”

”perhaps.”

Ye Lin firmly said: ”The arrangement of the traps is not like their style, and they are in a hurry. If it is them, they can choose other ways to avoid tracking.”

With their appearance of going into battle lightly, it doesn’t look like they have set up a long-term camp here, and the number of them is relatively small.

Ye Lin has reason to believe that there are third-party forces here.

”Ye Lin... Maybe your guess is right.”

Zhang San said suddenly.

”What happened?” Ye Lin keenly sensed something unusual in Zhang San’s tone.

”Um……”

Zhang Sandao: ”I used a drone to observe the sky and saw a huge bonfire. I didn’t approach it. This is our only tool.”

”A huge bonfire...”

Ye Lin thought deeply: ”It should be a local custom.”

”That’s the only possibility.”

Zhang San did not deny it.

”If you’re lucky enough, hopefully you won’t run into them.”

”Ah.”

Ye Lin hung up the walkie-talkie and continued to follow him.

And another force.

The trio is in trouble.

Susie stopped in her tracks, ”There’s a strange smell here.”

”weird smell?”

The other two were a little confused.

It seemed that the woman in front of her was a professional hunter as well as a seasoned adventurer, otherwise they wouldn’t have picked her up.

Susie has a special talent. She has a very keen sense of smell, especially the unusual sensitivity to the scent of prey.

”Gentlemen, we may be in trouble.”

Susie frowned.

Nick was stunned: ”Could it be that there are beasts here?”

The weapons on them are not enough to face the beasts, which will tear them into pieces, which is still the best result.

They don’t want to be reduced to a plate.

Susie said, ”Maybe we can spend the night here.”

He suggested the safest way, because it was getting dark now, and the hunter’s intuition told her that if she continued to go deeper, in the dark environment, even if she was a sharp archer, she would not be able to deal with any surprise at all. situation.

However, the other two thought differently.

William said indifferently: ”Ma’am, the reason we hired you is for such a moment.”

”...”

Susie had a bad face when she heard this.

She is not willing to give away the head, but it is a pity that they are not grasshoppers in the same boat.

To put it bluntly, she is also a temporary worker.

However, it is a senior temporary worker, a worker.

”Maybe you can pray that the arrow in my hand can hit these livestock at the critical moment, otherwise, we will all be food.”

Her last struggle.

But it was obvious that the other two had been blinded by the treasure.

”At this time when we are arguing, maybe we have reached our destination.”

William came up, put his eyes on Susie’s shoulders with greed in his eyes, and said in his ear, ”Don’t you think so?”

Susie couldn’t help laughing when she was touched like this.

She is not holding on.

cold voice.
