Madam’s Identities Shocks the Entire City Again

Chapter 430 - This Student Is From Rao City

Her goal was very clear—the Chinese Medicine Faculty.

When she entered the examination classroom, a number of people were already inside. There were 30-odd boys and girls in all.

Those here today were the ones who had done extremely well.

Everyone looked rather relaxed knowing that theyʼd successfully passed the first round.

Those who knew one another gathered to chat while the others sat alone, observed surroundings, and prepared some answers for potential questions during the interview later.

Qiao Nian pushed her cap down slightly and entered through the back door, then found a corner by the window.

She had just sat down when she heard a familiar voice coming from the front.

.
”Chen Chen, which faculty do you intend to enroll in? Your grades are so good, you should be able to take your pick.”

Qiao Nian glanced up and saw a few guys and girls gathered in the front of the classroom, with Qiao Chen standing right in the center. A girl was even looking up at her in admiration.

Qiao Nian happened to know that girl.

She was Wu Jie from Class A.

She was very quiet in class and hardly ever interacted with her classmates. She had on her black-rimmed glasses all year long and often left immediately once the bell rang. Even when Shen Qingqing and the others invited her to class gatherings, meals, and the like, she never turned up. She wasnʼt much different from an invisible person who lacked presence in class.

Qiao Nian noticed her, however.

Before she transferred into First High School, she had looked through the past yearsʼ results of the school. Wu Jie was always at the top of the ranking.

Of course, ever since her arrival, Wu Jie had slipped to second place.

She was shocked and surprised that this silent girl in class could be so extroverted outside, let alone be on good terms with Qiao Chen.

But this didnʼt bother her, anyway. She pulled her cap down slightly and kept her eyes on her cell phone.

Qiao Chen was fourth in line for the interview, but she wasnʼt the least bit worried as she scored well at 588 points. Shen Jingyan helped to ask about her results in the overall ranking. She did better than expected and was in ninth place. There shouldnʼt be a problem for her to get into the Music Faculty.

The problem now was not getting into the faculty; it was how she could possibly move Master Nie during the interview so he would take her in as his apprentice.

Qiao Chen had been preparing for this since a long time back. She now held a CD in her hands as determination shone in her eyes.

Soon, the three people lined up in front of her were done with their interviews.

Qiao Chen got up, picked up her stuff, and left the classroom with her back consciously straightened, heading for the adjacent classroom where the interview would be conducted.

A few faculties were holding their interviews today.

Besides the highly popular Finance Faculty and Clinical Department, the Architecture Department and Music Faculty were having their interview sessions as well.

Of course, there was also the Chinese Medicine Faculty, which had been put down by Liang Lu time and again.

As its representative, Shen Yugui sat on the extreme right seat. Liang Lu and Cheng Wu took the seats closer to the center, while the most important seat was taken by an old man in traditional Chinese attire. The way the buttons were done made him look energetic for his age.

He didnʼt look up when Qiao Chen entered. He was looking through the studentsʼ information document in his hands, as if not the least bit interested in the person who had entered.

Meanwhile, seated beside him, Cheng Wu quietly whispered in his ear when he saw Qiao Chen enter, ”Master Nie, this student is from Rao City. Her results are pretty good.”

Nie Mi was rather disinterested initially. But upon hearing that she was from Rao City, he seemed intrigued and looked up at her immediately. However, he frowned after just one glance at Qiao Chen.
