Supreme Parasite: Becoming a God Starting with Parasitizing the School Beauty

17: Chapter 17 The People of GodsLing Yichen remembered clearly that three years ago, after he had endured countless torments and passed countless tests, the laboratory researchers had rarely given him a full meal, even given him a bath, and let him have a comfortable sleep.

Then, the next day, many people came to the outside of the laboratory, among them were several guys with white hair and blue eyes.

It was under the gaze of this group of people that the laboratory researcher brought in a vial of medicine and injected it into his body.

He originally thought it was the same as the medicine usually injected, which would only make him uncomfortable for a while.

Unexpectedly, after that medicine was injected into his body, his nightmare officially began.

On the first day of the injection, countless pustules appeared on the surface of his body, itching and painful!

The most terrifying thing was that he could clearly see Worms wriggling inside those pustules.

On the tenth day of the injection, he completely lost the ability to move and could only lie there, watching helplessly as one Worm after another crawled out of the pustules, devouring his body.

On the twentieth day of the injection, his body below the neck had completely turned into white bone, the flesh on his body had been eaten clean by the Worms, and only one eye and a little bit of flesh remained on his head.

The most terrifying thing was that his consciousness had not dissipated; he could even see and perceive every condition of his body.

On the first month of the injection, he died completely.

But it didn’t count as dead.

Because he had turned into a Worm.

He was a Worm, and the Worm was him!

His consciousness seemed to be divided into countless parts.

Every single Worm had his consciousness!

This was a very strange feeling.

On the forty-fifth day of the injection, he was able to control some of the Worms and condense them into parts of his body.

On the sixtieth day of the injection, he was able to fully control all the Worms, letting them condense into a complete version of himself.

He remembered clearly how shocked and excited those people outside the laboratory were when he successfully controlled the Worms to become a complete self.

He also felt shocked by his own achievement!

Just when he thought he had the strength to fight back against the enemies, he tried to use the Worms to attack the laboratory researchers, only to find that a golden shield would form on the surface of the researchers’ bodies, and that shield could easily annihilate the Worms.

He originally thought that was the researcher’s exclusive ability.

But then he discovered in despair that every researcher in the laboratory could generate this kind of shield.

He simply couldn’t hurt them.

In the long period of time that followed, he understood that every resident of Sky City possessed this kind of shield; it was not a power brought by some device, but originated from their bodies, which could autonomously generate this energy shield.

In other words, anyone who possessed this kind of shield must be a resident from Sky City.

And the W before his eyes was clearly from Sky City!

So, at this moment, that was why Ling Yichen looked at W in such a way.

At this time, W also saw the shield appear, and her expression changed slightly.

Then she grabbed Ling Yichen, pulled him behind her, and said vigilantly, ”Watch out, there’s an enemy attack, I’ve been attacked!”

Seeing her like this, Ling Yichen was instead stunned.

He first glanced at her, then stared intensely at the shield on her body.

He reached out and touched it, but the shield only flickered slightly and did not show any other reaction.

This made him even more surprised.

Strictly speaking, his body was composed of Worms, and he and the Worms were one.

The shield would burn those Worms that tried to parasitize her, but it would not cause him any harm.

What was going on?

”Could it be... that this shield can perceive hostility?”

”Does it only autonomously intercept when things that harbor malice toward the owner approach?”

Thinking of this, he threw them onto the ground, and immediately a few Worms fell to the ground and quickly approached W.

In the next second, green smoke suddenly rose at W’s feet.

The shield had annihilated the Worms once again.

”Sure enough, that’s how it is!”

”Those Worms wanted to parasitize her, so they were intercepted and killed by the shield.”

”When I touched her, I just wanted to test the shield, I didn’t want to parasitize her, so the shield didn’t hurt me!”

”This shield can really detect malice from the outside world!”

”How amazing!”

At this moment, Ling Yichen was full of curiosity about this shield.

Meanwhile, W, seeing the smoke rising at her feet, immediately retreated two steps to the side, while not forgetting to grab Ling Yichen’s hand.

Ling Yichen immediately broke free from her hand and said softly, ”It’s just some small bugs, no need to make a fuss!”

Then he strode toward the elevator.

Hearing this, W breathed a sigh of relief and then hurried to follow.

”Hey, I was afraid someone would hurt you. By the way, what is your Supernatural Ability?”

W started asking questions again, but Ling Yichen chose to ignore her and quickly arrived beside Ye Qingzhu and Tian Yingying.

After the four of them came together, W finally let Ling Yichen go and started chatting with the other two girls.

Girls’ friendships always come faster; not long after, the three girls became good friends, just short of vowing to be sworn sisters.

Ling Yichen, the only boy following them, seemed a bit superfluous.

The four of them arrived at the entrance of the Chenxiang Garden residential area, took a taxi, and it only took five minutes to reach the school they were about to enroll in.

Standing at the school gate, looking at the plaque of [Fourth Advanced Ability School], they fell into silence.

Ye Qingzhu said, ”The Central District has a very large population base, with a population of a full sixty million, of which only twenty percent are ordinary people, and the rest are all Awakened Ones.”

”And among these eighty percent of Awakened Ones, thirty percent are teenage Awakened Ones and twenty percent are newly promoted Awakened Ones!”

”Therefore, the number of Superpower Schools in the Central District is as many as sixteen, and the school in front of us is just one of these sixteen.”

”Ranking means strength, which is to say, the strength of the Awakened Ones in this school ranks fourth!”

Ye Qingzhu talked on and on.

It was as if she were an old student of this school, but in reality, she had only been here once at noon.

”Wow, Senior is so amazing, worthy of being the top student and campus beauty of our Rainbow Middle School!”

Tian Yingying said with a face full of admiration.

Upon hearing this, Ye Qingzhu’s little face immediately turned red.

”Sigh, what campus beauty, that was just in a small place like the Old City District. There are so many beautiful women here it’s scary; look, W is even better looking than me.”

”Besides, I heard that there are many beautiful girls of different races here. It is said that there are Divine People here!”

”Divine People?”

Tian Yingying, W, and even Ling Yichen all shouted in unison.

Ye Qingzhu nodded quickly and said solemnly, ”Yes, that’s right, Divine People!”

”The so-called Divine People are said to be beings one level higher than the residents inside Sky City!”

”I also heard that Divine People are people who possess the Divine Bloodline and are born with powerful Supernatural Abilities!”

”And their appearance, everyone is extremely outstanding!”

”Of course, I just heard about it. We will have to wait until we enter the school to really understand the specifics!”
