Supreme Parasite: Becoming a God Starting with Parasitizing the School Beauty

15: Chapter 15 Free MealLing Yichen glanced at her quickly, then withdrew his gaze and pressed the elevator button.

The white-haired girl stood quietly behind him, waiting for the elevator.

After the elevator doors opened, Ling Yichen entered first and pressed the button for the 8th floor.

The white-haired girl who followed him into the elevator saw this; her gaze couldn’t help but fall on Ling Yichen, and she didn’t press a floor button herself.

The elevator soon reached the 8th floor. Ling Yichen walked straight out of the elevator and headed towards Room 809.

The white-haired girl also immediately stepped out of the elevator, came to a stop in front of Room 806, then turned her eyes to look at Ling Yichen and suddenly said, ”Hello, my name is Da Buniu. We’re neighbors from now on!”

Upon hearing this, Ling Yichen immediately stopped, his brows slightly furrowed.

”W?”

The transliteration of Da Buniu happened to be W!

”Hello.”

Ling Yichen replied simply and continued walking towards his home.

However, after walking just a few steps, the white-haired girl called W spoke again.

”Um... what’s your name?”

Ling Yichen stopped again, his brow furrowing even deeper.

However, he still didn’t turn around, simply saying calmly, ”Ling Yichen!”

After saying that, he strode to his front door, swiped his card to enter, and slammed the door shut with a loud bang.

This left W with a slightly stiff expression, feeling a bit bewildered.

She thought she hadn’t been rude in any way, so why was this neighbor named Ling Yichen acting like this?

”Forget it, maybe that’s just his personality!”

W shrugged, took out a badge from the ring on her hand—the badge was imprinted with a pair of wings, exactly the same as Ye Qingzhu’s.

She swiped her card, entered her room, and the hallway suddenly became quiet.

At the same time, inside Ling Yichen’s home.

His hands were full of things, and he stood motionless behind the door, closing his eyes to listen to the movement in the hallway outside. Only after confirming that W had entered her room did he let out a soft sigh of relief.

”It must just be a coincidence. The people from the Celestial God Laboratory shouldn’t have discovered that I faked my death to escape yet; it’s impossible for them to have tracked me down this quickly.”

”If she really were from the Celestial God Laboratory, she would have attacked directly.”

”Yes, it’s just a coincidence; she is not from the Celestial God Laboratory!”

Ling Yichen thought silently, his inner anxiety easing slightly.

It was no wonder he was so nervous, because he clearly remembered that the people who had locked him in the laboratory six years ago were white-haired, blue-eyed aliens!

At the same time, during the six years he was imprisoned, he had also seen several white-haired, blue-eyed people come to visit him.

He still remembered how respectful the laboratory staff were towards them.

Clearly, those white-haired, blue-eyed aliens were the true masters of the laboratory.

Therefore, seeing such a person again, Ling Yichen couldn’t help but feel some unusual emotions.

*Huu~*

He took a deep breath, then exhaled slowly. After calming his emotions, he put the things in his hands into the refrigerator and began to cook.

Or to be precise, learning to cook.

When he arrived in this world, he was only twelve years old, still a child.

He could only rely on the memories in his mind, copying the steps his mother used to cook.

He washed the vegetables, then cut them. Because he had never cut anything before, his knife skills were very crude. What should have been thin slices of meat turned into steaks, with an impressively thick size!

He spent a significant amount of effort cutting the meat, then began to stir-fry.

This part was relatively simple and completed easily.

But the problem was, just after he finished stir-frying a somewhat rough dish of chili pork, there was a knock at the door.

Ling Yichen had to interrupt his cooking and open the door.

As the door opened, he saw seven or eight people standing outside.

The three members of Ye Qingzhu’s family, Tian Yingying’s parents, Tian Yingying standing far away, and that white-haired girl W were all there.

The seven people were all covering their noses and mouths, coughing from time to time, looking at him with pained expressions.

Seeing such a scene, Ling Yichen vaguely understood why everyone was standing there.

It was because of the chili~

Although the smell of the chili from the stir-fry had been sucked away by the range hood, the chili scent vented outside was affected by air currents and drifted to the other units.

For those who like to eat chili, this bit of spiciness was nothing.

But for those who couldn’t eat chili, it was no different from poisoning!

It could choke them half to death!

Sure enough, the next second, Ye Qingzhu’s mother, Tang Juan, spoke up: ”Child, are you cooking?”

Ling Yichen pursed his lips and nodded gently.

”Chili pork?” Tang Juan continued to ask.

Ling Yichen nodded again.

”Um... Auntie isn’t blaming you, but this spicy smell is just too strong. It drifted into our place, and we’ve all been brought to tears by the spiciness.”

Ling Yichen looked up and indeed saw that several of them had teary eyes.

Ling Yichen raised an eyebrow slightly but didn’t say anything.

He wanted to eat chili right now; if even this wish were taken away, he would be very annoyed!

Seeing his expression look a bit unpleasant, Tang Juan smiled awkwardly.

Strictly speaking, Ling Yichen hadn’t done anything wrong; after all, he was cooking in his own home, and he could cook whatever he wanted.

”Um... how about this, from now on, come eat at my place. Since you like chili, I can make some dishes with chili, but they won’t be as spicy as what you make!”

”However, you’ll need to pay for meals—10 credits per meal!”

Upon hearing this, Ling Yichen looked at her with some surprise.

The next second, he readily agreed.

”Okay! Thank you, Auntie!”

A smile appeared on Ling Yichen’s face.

Previously, he thought cooking wasn’t difficult, but after actually making a meal, he realized how hard it was.

Now that Tang Juan had offered such an interesting proposal, he was, of course, more than happy to accept!

Even if he couldn’t eat chili every single meal, it was acceptable.

”Then starting from tonight, I’ll come to your place to eat!”

After saying this, Ling Yichen nodded at Tang Juan, then turned and went back into his room.

Outside the door, everyone looked at Tang Juan in unison.

Everyone had originally just wanted to ask Ling Yichen to be a little more considerate and not make things so spicy, but they hadn’t expected it to turn into having him come over to eat at their home.

”Ahem, anyway, he’s just one person; adding one more person is just a matter of adding another pair of chopsticks. It saves him from making such spicy food every day and choking everyone out!”

Tian Yingying’s family was naturally happy with this arrangement, so they didn’t say anything and returned to their own home.

At this moment, the white-haired Da Buniu slowly approached Tang Juan and said somewhat shyly, ”Auntie, can I also come to your house for meals? I... I don’t know how to cook!”

”Of course, I will also pay for the meals!”

Tang Juan was stunned for a moment, then turned her head to look at Ye Songtao and Ye Qingzhu.

Both of them looked equally bewildered.

After a moment of thought, Tang Juan nodded gently and agreed.

Eating with one more person or two more people was the same; since they were all neighbors and all half-grown children, having them eat together wasn’t really a problem.
