Quick Transmigration: The Host is Forced to Love!

109: Chapter 109 The Disabled CEO’s Benefactor 6A flash of malice crossed Lu Zhan’s eyes incredibly quickly, but it vanished in an instant, as if it were merely an illusion.

”I know, thanks Brother Han! I’ll keep your kindness in my heart. In my mind, I’ve long since considered Brother Han as my own older brother.”

Lu Zhan’s face and eyes were full of sincerity, and his cold expression softened considerably at that moment.

He naturally hooked his arm through Fu Jinghan’s left arm, and they began walking toward the parking lot together.

Fu Jinghan gazed at Lu Zhan beside him, his heart filled with warmth and satisfaction. It felt as if they had returned to the beautiful times of the past, when A-Zhan was just as close to him as this.

With an air of intimacy between them, they walked toward the car in the middle, where the driver had already been waiting for a long time.

The bodyguards placed the suitcases into the trunk while Lu Zhan and Fu Jinghan sat in the back seat one after the other. The car started and slowly drove away from the airport.

Inside the car, Fu Jinghan would peek at A-Zhan from time to time, his eyes containing a hint of infatuation.

A-Zhan seemed even more handsome and charming than before; he couldn’t get enough of looking at him.

Lu Zhan had actually noticed the man’s peeking long ago and found it somewhat amusing in his heart.

On the surface, however, he remained still, pretending not to have noticed and wantonly indulging Fu Jinghan’s behavior.

The driver, being quite observant, had already raised the privacy partition.

In this slightly dull and narrow space, Fu Jinghan was ultimately the first to lose his patience. He turned toward Lu Zhan and spoke softly, breaking the silence in the car.

”A-Zhan, do you have any plans now that you’re back?”

Hearing this, the corners of Lu Zhan’s mouth curled up slightly. With a hint of a smile in his eyes, he spoke in a somewhat teasing tone.

”I’ve been out of the entertainment industry for three years. Now I’m just a washed-up star, so I can only come to Brother Han for help. I wonder if Brother Han is willing to take me in?”

Those words, laced with a casual laziness, were like a gentle breeze brushing past the ear.

Fu Jinghan suddenly felt his heart tremble slightly, and even his fingers couldn’t help but shake a little. He hurriedly spoke in response.

”A-Zhan, of course Brother Han is willing! It’s my honor! A-Zhan has never been a washed-up star. In my heart, A-Zhan will always be an existence as dazzling as the bright stars!”

His firm words seemed filled with sincere and passionate deep emotion!

Lu Zhan’s eyes dazed for a moment, and he unconsciously reached out to caress Fu Jinghan’s cheek.

Fu Jinghan’s ears instantly turned a vivid red as if engorged with blood. His usually cold, white, and delicate skin now also showed a faint peachy-pink hue.

In all these years, this was the first time A-Zhan had been so close to him. At this moment, his mood was exceptionally joyful, and the feeling was incomparably wonderful!

After a moment, Lu Zhan slowly withdrew his hand. With a hint of confusion on his face and an inquisitive look in his eyes, he gazed deeply at Fu Jinghan.

”Brother Han, speaking like that gives me the illusion that you like me. Brother Han, seriously, do you like me?”

Fu Jinghan’s pupils shrank slightly for an instant. Various thoughts surged like a tide in his heart, but he did his best to maintain his composure on the surface. His expression remained normal as he replied at a measured pace.

”No, how could that be? I just can’t stand to see A-Zhan looking even slightly discouraged.”

Since A-Zhan is the younger brother I, Fu Jinghan, have acknowledged, he should have whatever he wants, stand on high, and be the center of everyone’s attention!”

Upon hearing this, Lu Zhan’s expression softened, and his inquiry and doubt vanished. It was as if he had just mentioned it in passing. He spoke with an apologetic tone.

”So that’s how it is. I overthought it for a moment. My mistake for misunderstanding Brother Han. I hope Brother Han doesn’t mind.”

Fu Jinghan had nearly had his secret thoughts seen through just now. He was still extremely nervous and uneasy inside, but he struggled to maintain his calm and replied peacefully.

”I won’t mind. A-Zhan only needs to know that you are the person closest to me. I will always protect you. Whatever you want to do, just go ahead and do it. I’m here for everything!”

Hearing this, a soft smile appeared on Lu Zhan’s face. He gently hugged Fu Jinghan’s left arm, naturally resting his head on the other’s shoulder and even nuzzling it slightly.

Fu Jinghan deeply enjoyed Lu Zhan’s current intimacy. His whole being felt as if it were bathed in warm sunlight; it was exceptionally comfortable!

”Thanks, Brother Han. Then I’ll stick to my old profession and continue to make a name for myself in the entertainment industry. Maybe then, A-Zhan can even bring a sister-in-law back for Brother Han.”

These were clearly words meant as a joke or a tease.

However, Fu Jinghan’s face changed drastically in an instant. Panic and bewilderment showed in his eyes, and his heart felt a sharp pain as if pierced by needles.

The word ”sister-in-law” from A-Zhan’s mouth made it impossible for Fu Jinghan to continue deceiving himself and avoiding the fact he never wanted to face.

In the near future, an intimate partner would appear by A-Zhan’s side. They would do all the most intimate things partners do, perhaps even have their own children, and build a happy family together.

But he, Fu Jinghan, would have nothing. He could only watch helplessly and despairingly as A-Zhan moved toward someone else, getting further and further away until even the tiny bit he currently held was completely lost...

If one day he truly faced such a situation, what should he do? With a crippled body like his that couldn’t be shown to others, what could he even do?

He could only hope that A-Zhan wouldn’t grow distant after having a partner, and he might even humbly beg A-Zhan not to take back the little bit of affection allocated to him.

Thinking of this, Fu Jinghan’s heart was already filled with desolation.

”A-Zhan, what kind of person do you like? If A-Zhan has a partner in the future, will you still be willing to interact with Brother Han like this?”

His tone was as calm as if it were mere curiosity, yet it also faintly carried a cautious probing and a thick sense of unease.

Hearing this, Lu Zhan frowned slightly and slowly raised his head, looking at Fu Jinghan with a focused gaze. He vaguely sensed that the other’s mood seemed very low.

He reached out and held Fu Jinghan’s left hand which was resting on his thigh. With a faint smile on his face, Lu Zhan comforted him softly.

”Brother Han, you don’t need to worry. Our relationship won’t be affected by anyone. Don’t forget, I’ll always be your loyal little fanboy!”

As for what kind of person I like, haven’t you always known, Brother Han?

I like those who are good-looking and capable. My standard for a partner is probably someone just like you, Brother Han.”

The soft words were like a spring breeze, blowing away the endless despair, and like a warm sun, melting the surrounding cold.

Fu Jinghan felt his whole body grow warm. The unease and desolation that had just surged in his heart seemed to have completely receded, leaving only an irrepressible joy!
