Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100

Chapter 817: Blood Ghost King

Max hovered above them, eyes sharp, watching the mass of dark creatures gathering beneath him like a nightmare army. All of them emitted the same black energy—the energy of corruption, of the black fog.

And all of them were staring at him with unblinking, malicious hunger. He was surrounded, caught in the heart of a demonic tide.

Swish!

Max’s heart tightened like a clenched fist. Without wasting even a breath, he shot forward through the swamp, the black fog curling and writhing behind him like a living beast. Every step he took kicked up murky puddles and dead grass, but he didn’t dare stop.

The oppressive atmosphere, the whispers in the air, the chilling presence clinging to his skin—it all screamed danger.

Then suddenly—

”Ahhh!”

A scream tore through the dense fog ahead, raw and filled with despair.

Max’s eyes sharpened as he darted toward the sound, only to stop midair with a cold breath caught in his lungs. A violent spurt of blood erupted like a fountain, and a headless corpse fell before him, hitting the muddy ground with a sickening thud.

Blood soaked the earth, and the stump of the neck still oozed thick red liquid, as if the life hadn’t fully left the body. Max stared, face darkening, his gaze scanning the surrounding fog.

Then, just for a split second, something moved. A flicker—a crimson blur—flashed in front of him so quickly it was like blinking and seeing an afterimage.

But that moment was enough. His instincts screamed louder than ever. Whatever had just passed him... could kill him. It wasn’t just fast—it was deadly.

Max hovered cautiously, back straight, sword at the ready, his entire body on high alert. That flicker of red wasn’t just a beast. It felt malicious, like something born of hatred and slaughter.

And then, like a puzzle clicking into place, Max remembered a terrifying entry from the old notes the elder gave him before entering the domain. Blood Ghost.

According to the ancient record, Blood Ghosts weren’t true beasts or spirits, but the product of extreme hatred and violent deaths—wraith-like creatures that lived to consume the minds of warriors.

And among them, there was one particular variant even more terrifying—the Blood Ghost King. It was said to twist heads from Legend Rank experts as easily as plucking fruit from a tree.

And the corpse before him... the aura still clinging to it... it was a 1st level Legend Rank expert. Someone powerful. Yet they died in an instant. No resistance. No struggle. Just a scream and then silence.

Max’s face turned grave. ’Could that have been a Blood Ghost King?’ But the notes had clearly mentioned that such entities were extremely rare, often sealed away or dormant deep within cursed regions.

Why would one be here? Was his luck really this rotten? Thoughts raced through his head, but no answer came. Only dread.

Then—

Swish!

There was no warning this time. The blood shadow returned, bursting through the fog behind him like a bolt of lightning. Its speed was faster than before, more aggressive, more focused.

And this time, it was coming straight for him. Max didn’t hesitate. His Three Dimensional Body blared with red alerts, his skin tingled from the sheer killing intent behind him, and in that very moment, he spun around midair, Blue Dragon Sword already blazing with sword intent, ready to meet the horror head-on.

”Damn!” Max cursed under his breath, feeling the tension surge through his body like a bolt of lightning. Without hesitation, he poured all of his level 2 sword concept into his Blue Dragon Sword and swung it with explosive force.

The air cracked apart with a deafening bang, and a powerful shockwave rippled through the blackened swamp. But almost immediately, Max felt the terrifying force rebound through his arms, rattling his bones.

He turned mid-air and finally got a good look at the creature that had attacked him—a Blood Ghost King. The notes hadn’t done it justice.

It looked eerily humanoid in shape but grotesque in every other way. Its entire body was drenched in flowing blood, as if it were forged from the very essence of slaughter. Hairless, with sunken nasal cavities, fanged jaws, and pulsating red eyes filled with hatred, the creature radiated nothing but death.

The aura it released was overwhelming, dense, and ancient—it was clearly at the 3rd level of Legend Rank.

A chill ran down Max’s spine, but his gaze didn’t waver. The Blood Ghost King locked eyes with him, then let out a distorted roar that cracked the fog around them. It lunged forward like a wild beast, its clawed hand rising as blood energy surged around it, forming massive spectral claws that rained down from the sky like falling blades of crimson.

Max responded instantly, stepping forward instead of retreating. His grip on the Blue Dragon Sword tightened, and his expression turned grimly calm.

He had fought beings at this level before. He had killed June, a Heaven Grade genius, and fought Julio, a 3-star genius. Even if he had relied on the Infernal Demon Transformation back then, he had grown stronger since.

Two level-ups.

That was no small thing. Now, without transformation, he believed he could match a 3rd level Legend Rank head-on.

Sword light blazed around him as he activated the Severing Flow Sword Art, his blade coated with the sharpness of level 2 severing sword concept. He slashed upward in a powerful arc, striking directly at the Blood Ghost King’s descending claws.

Sparks flew and the sound of metal grinding against metal rang out. But to Max’s shock, the spectral blood claws didn’t shatter as he expected. The Blue Dragon Sword, even when fueled by sword concept, only left shallow gashes on the monster’s crimson limbs.

Max’s eyes widened in disbelief. ”What the hell...?” he muttered, genuinely stunned.

The Blood Ghost King’s claws were tougher than steel, reinforced by dense blood energy and its unique ghostly body. It was like trying to cut through ancient metal with a kitchen knife.

The attack had landed cleanly, yet it barely damaged the monster. That realization forced Max to reassess everything. This wasn’t going to be a quick fight. It wasn’t going to be easy.
