Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100

Chapter 649: Max vs Storm King

Max nodded and didn’t waste time. He moved forward, his feet brushing softly over the lush grass that swayed gently beneath the soft blue sky. The air here was fresh, tinged faintly with electric energy, and the silence carried a faint hum as if the whole place was alive—charged with ancient power.

He walked for several minutes through the undisturbed plains, until his eyes landed on a raised circular platform at the heart of a gentle hill. It was made of sleek gray stone, its surface etched with old lightning runes that glowed faintly under the daylight.

Wide steps led to the top, but Max’s eyes were drawn to the figure sitting quietly on the lower steps.

There, a man sat alone.

He wasn’t moving. He wasn’t meditating. He was simply sitting. His long, cloud-white hair flowed down his back, and his loose robes, stitched with patterns of thunderbolts, fluttered slightly even without wind. His eyes were closed, arms resting casually on his knees, and his expression was one of solemn calm—as if he were a statue left by time itself.

Max’s steps slowed. There was something overwhelming about that presence. The calm wasn’t ordinary. It was the kind of stillness that came only from sheer, absolute mastery. From a man who had stood above countless storms. Even without opening his eyes, the figure radiated an unshakable pressure—as if nature itself bent around him.

Max instinctively knew: this was the soul imprint of the Storm King.

Just at that moment, the man sitting silently on the platform opened his eyes—and the world seemed to shift. A sharp crack split the air as red lightning flashed violently within his gaze, like twin storms roaring to life.

Before Max could even react, a red gleaming spear materialized in the man’s right hand with a loud hum, pulsing with concentrated energy.

Without a word or warning, the man vanished. In the blink of an eye, his figure appeared right in front of Max, his spear already lunging forward like a crimson meteor crashing down.

But Max was ready. His Three Dimensional Body kicked into action, instantly analyzing the trajectory of the strike. Time seemed to slow just enough for his body to respond with a sidestep, narrowly avoiding the deadly thrust. The red spear slashed through his afterimage, tearing through the space where his head had been a fraction of a second ago.

Without hesitation, Max jumped back, his boots skimming across the grassy earth as he pulled out his sword in a single fluid motion.

Then he saw it—the red lightning once again dancing along the man’s spear. It surged to the spearhead, condensing rapidly until it turned pitch red, glowing like molten metal. The intensity of it sent faint crackles echoing across the plain.

In a flash of red light, the man was gone from sight—only to reappear directly in front of Max once more, his spear moving like a thunderbolt, too fast for most eyes to follow.

Max didn’t flinch. His eyes gleamed coldly as he activated his Severing Sword Concept at the advanced stage of level one. Energy surged through his blade, and with a powerful roar, he slashed forward with all his might. The two weapons collided.

Clang! Boom!

The impact created a blinding shockwave that rippled out across the grassy plains. The red lightning clashed with Max’s sword force in an explosion of sparks and force.

Max’s body couldn’t withstand the raw impact—he was blasted backwards, his feet leaving the ground as he flew through the air like a broken arrow. Wind tore at his clothes, and the sky above spun for a brief moment before he crashed into the earth.

”So strong!” Max hissed through gritted teeth, planting the tip of his sword into the ground to halt his momentum. Dust rose around him, but he held firm, legs bent, body crouched, eyes blazing with excitement instead of fear.

His arms trembled from the recoil, but his fighting spirit burned brighter than ever.

Activating all 600 of his Draconic Essences, Max’s body instantly surged with terrifying power. His muscles tensed and bulged with barely-contained force, veins glowing faintly beneath his skin as golden-black draconic energy coursed through him.

A low, thunderous hum echoed from his very being like the growl of a slumbering dragon awakened. His aura exploded, rippling through the air in waves, causing the ground beneath him to crack and crater.

His knees bent—just slightly—and then boom! Max vanished in a violent burst of raw strength, the shattered earth exploding in his wake from the pressure of his launch.

In less than a blink, Max appeared in front of Storm King like a bolt of lightning. Without hesitation, he slashed down with his Severing Flow Sword Art, each motion flowing like a river but slicing like a guillotine.

The blade roared with concept-infused fury.

Storm King’s eyes narrowed, and with perfect calm, he met the attack with a powerful thrust of his red lightning-imbued spear, its head crackling with scarlet destruction.

Clang! Boom!

The shockwave from their clash blasted out in a dome of pure energy, flattening the surrounding grass for dozens of meters. This time, Max didn’t go flying—he was only pushed back three steps, his heels dragging through the dirt, steam rising from his arms as he withstood the brutal force.

Storm King’s eyes flashed with surprise.

Max didn’t waste a second. He appeared behind Storm King in a blur, his blade screaming down in a wide arc. Storm King twisted just in time, raising his spear in reverse grip to parry. Clang! Sparks exploded as lightning danced along their weapons.

Storm King retaliated instantly. A red blur shot forward—his spear thrust aiming straight for Max’s throat.

Max jerked back, the tip of the spear grazing his chin. Blood trickled, but he didn’t stop. He spun to the side, slashing low toward the knees. Storm King leapt up, dodging by a hair’s breadth, and twisted mid-air to hurl his spear like a thunderbolt.

Max’s eyes widened. He raised his sword just in time.

Bang!

The impact blasted him backward, feet skidding across the earth, leaving long gouges in the grass and stone.

Before he could recover, Storm King was already upon him, spear sweeping horizontally.

Max ducked.

Whoosh!

The spear passed inches above his head, slicing off a few strands of hair. He rolled forward, using the momentum to pivot and strike upward. His sword burned with the raw power of his physical strength combined with the full power of severing sword concept.

Storm King blocked—but the force made his arm tremble.

Max didn’t give him space. He pressed in, launching a rapid barrage of slashes—one, two, five, ten—each strike faster than the last. Sparks flew. Storm King was forced back, step by step, until his heels dug into the crumbling edge of the battle-scarred platform.

With a roar, Max raised his sword overhead, pouring every ounce of strength into a single overhead slash using his Void Severance Slash technique.

Storm King raised his spear to block.

BOOM!

The platform cracked. Dust blasted into the air. Storm King slid back two meters, his boots carving twin trenches into the ground.

Max landed, panting, his chest heaving—but his eyes were ablaze.

Storm King stared at him, brow furrowed, blood-red lightning flickering across his arms. A faint cut traced across his right cheek.

For the first time... he bled.

Max straightened, pointing his sword forward. ”I’m not done yet.”

’Dragon Scales Transformation!’ He roared without hesitation, unleashing the full might of his draconic bloodline. Instantly, black glowing scales, forged from condensed mana and ancient bloodline power, began to spread rapidly across both his arms, crawling up to his shoulders and neck like living armor. The aura that surged from him was wild, primal—draconic.

Then, in the next breath, golden light erupted from within those black scales as the power of his 600 Draconic Essences ignited in full force. The air cracked, the ground trembled, and his presence felt like a dragon descending upon the battlefield.

Boom!

A thunderous burst of power surged out from his body, splitting the air with an invisible force. The golden-black glow of his transformation turned the sky above into a swirl of chaotic light.

Max gripped his sword with both hands, veins bulging with radiant energy, and charged forward like a comet crashing to earth.
