Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2880: Chapter 2878: I’m Afraid of Dogs

”Alas, poor little guy, how did you end up being bullied so badly? I really don’t know what to say. From now on, when you see those dogs, just run, okay? You’re too small now and can’t fight them. Wait until you grow up, then you can bite back. Let’s see who dares to treat you like that then.” Qin Xue said angrily after applying medicine to the last wound.

She looked at the washed dog; it really resembled the little dog she used to have.

She still remembered when she first saw that puppy, she decided to keep it, and the result was that her home gained a cute little companion.

That little guy accompanied her for a long time; it was always there to keep her company whenever she felt lonely.

Thinking about it really made her realize that having a tiny creature to accompany her in this world was indeed a kind of happiness.

”What are you thinking about? You’ve suddenly stopped moving,” Chu Molin noticed his wife’s expression. Did she remember something again?

It’s not that Chu Molin thought she was sick; on the contrary, because he knew what she had been through, he could always see whenever her expression changed.

”I used to have a puppy, I named it Dodo. You don’t know how smart it was, it was really adorable.” Qin Xue said with a smile, but there was still a lot of reluctance and longing in her eyes.

”Did something happen?” Chu Molin didn’t overlook the pain in her eyes.

”Yes, something happened that I never want to remember.” Qin Xue’s voice was low.

”Can you tell me about it? I think it must have been an adorable little guy.” Chu Molin didn’t want to open her old wound, but he asked to help her open her heart.

”I suppose I can.” Qin Xue thought that after so many years, it should have reincarnated into a new home and started a new life.

”Let’s sit over there and talk.” Chu Molin placed the dog in a temporary nest and then led Qin Xue to sit on one side to listen to her reminisce.

”I saw Dodo by accident; I thought it was cute, so I bought it home. You know, I’m actually afraid of dogs, but when I saw it, I was unconsciously drawn to it...” Qin Xue was simply charmed by it.

Back then, Dodo was just over two months old, chubby and very cute. It was a small breed, but she didn’t know the name.

But when she saw Dodo’s mother, she realized it was a type of small dog that wouldn’t grow big.

The largest of such small dogs would only weigh about ten pounds, so she asked the family if the puppy was for sale.

When the owner said it was, she paid and bought it home.

Yet, once home, she discovered this little guy wasn’t as well-behaved as it seemed.

It would bite things everywhere in the house and pee in the living room, almost driving her crazy.

She was glad that Yingying and Chenchen, due to their work, weren’t home often, so she managed to clean up, otherwise she would have been disdained by them.

Qin Xue looked at it angrily, then loudly scolded it, and it seemed to understand her words.

Using those pitiful little eyes, it looked at her; she was furious inside, but was also charmed by its appearance. Helplessly, her tone softened, and when it saw she didn’t scold it anymore, it wobbled over to her feet, biting her pants and wagging its tail.

Just like that, Qin Xue forgave it and started searching online on how to train a dog.
