Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2851: Chapter 2849: Hurry Up and Keep Up

There are some things he really couldn’t say much about; better to wait and see how things went in the future. This kind of situation was a happiness he’d only gained after coming here, so of course he would cherish it.

”Mm, hurry and eat, otherwise it won’t taste good once it gets cold.” Qin Xue picked dishes for each child as she reminded them.

”Okay.” The children, of course, were obedient.

Only after this time of being away from them did Cohen realize how much he missed family reunions, so when he came back this time, apart from greeting them he didn’t say much else.

Once his parents weren’t home later, he could play with his two younger brothers, couldn’t he?

After Qin Xue and Chu Molin finished eating, they left, and after Xue Ling locked the door, she took the three children back to the room and started randomly checking their studies.

”Which one of you is going first?” Xue Ling looked at the three of them. In this kind of situation, it was still better to go one by one, same as before.

”I’ll go first.” Cohen glanced at his two younger brothers. He was the eldest, so he’d go first.

”Alright, start.” Xue Ling watched from the side and had Cohen begin reciting the formulas.

”Mm, not bad, you still remember everything I taught. Since you can all remember it, I’ll teach you the moves next. You don’t have to learn them perfectly right now, just remember the motions. Once you slowly practice, you’ll remember them even more firmly when you’re older.” Xue Ling instructed as she looked at them.

”Got it, Master, we’ll study hard.” The three children were of course happy to be able to learn things.

Hearing Xue Ling say that, the three children looked at one another, then bowed respectfully to Xue Ling.

No matter what, Xue Ling was their master, so of course they had to respect their teacher to gain the Way.

”Very good. Watch carefully; you can also follow along and mimic the movements. Whoever does the best will get a reward.” Xue Ling was planning to set up a clear system of rewards and punishments.

That way they’d be more confident in doing things, and those who did poorly would be punished. Nobody wanted to be the worst one, so they’d rack their brains to surpass the others, and everyone would work harder.

”Yay.” Yu Chen thought this was great. If only the reward was something to eat, that would be perfect—but seeing the look on Xue Ling’s face, he didn’t ask.

They’d know the result after a while anyway; there was no need to ask outright.

”Mm, let’s go to the living room; it’s more spacious there.” Xue Ling had brought them into the room earlier because they needed to recite the formulas out loud, and that couldn’t be overheard by others. Now they were just going through the motions without speaking, so going outside was fine.

”Alright, Master, you go first.” The three children stood behind, waiting for Xue Ling to walk ahead.

”Hurry up and keep up.” Xue Ling wasn’t pleased just because of what they said; instead, she was thinking about how to help them learn faster.

”Yes.” They didn’t dare waste even a moment, afraid that Xue Ling would get angry.

Don’t be fooled by her loli-like appearance—when she got mad, she was terrifying. The amount they had to memorize would double in speed.

That kind of outcome was not something they wanted to see, so if they wanted life to be a bit easier, they’d better behave.

”Watch closely.” Xue Ling stood in the middle of the courtyard and waited until they’d taken their positions before she started teaching.

She knew they were still young and shouldn’t be learning too early, but she had a feeling in her heart that teaching them now was the best choice, so she hadn’t delayed.

Facing such gifted children, Xue Ling felt that being Qin Xue’s children meant carrying a lot of burdens. There was a lot they had to learn, and it would be exhausting.

It was just that this was their fate; being able to follow Qin Xue and the others was also their good fortune.

Only, how was she supposed to explain this? She couldn’t let Qin Xue and her husband know; she still had to quietly teach the children herself, bit by bit.
