Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2102: Chapter 2096: Sudden Incident

Qin Xue quickly helped to handle the child. She was afraid the child might accidentally swallow the vomited dirt which could choke the trachea, also worried it might return to the trachea and lead to pneumonia. So the idea of using something for him to bite during an epileptic seizure is wrong. Preventing the person from biting their tongue is true, but ensuring the vomited matter flows out is the most important.

After the two sisters busied themselves for a while, Qin Xue finally managed to settle the child and let him recover. But seeing herself and Qing Zhu looking a mess, she sighed helplessly. Being a doctor means disregarding cleanliness in the face of illness; saving lives is the priority.

Looking at the surrounding crowd, Qin Xue didn’t know how to explain, preferring to speak privately with the child’s parents later.

”Doctor, how is my son?” a woman asked Qin Xue while crying. Earlier, she wanted to approach, but Qin Xue’s stern shout made her hold back, waiting anxiously on the side. Seeing Qin Xue finally stopping, she approached to ask.

”He’s okay for now. Has he ever displayed these symptoms before?” Qin Xue felt it was better to ask. This epilepsy is a chronic condition caused by electrical impulses stimulating the brain’s nerve elements, sometimes triggered by food or substances.

If not well understood, future encounters with triggers might cause sudden seizures, so it’s crucial to teach them emergency procedures.

”He never showed any signs before; this has never happened to him. What illness does my son have? He’s so little, why is this happening?” The child’s mother was truly heartbroken, never knowing her child could be suddenly ill, especially with such a terrifying condition.

”Don’t worry too much about this now. I’ll explain to you later; for now, please have someone take your child to the hospital. This is only a temporary relief, and he’s not out of danger yet.” Qin Xue could only manage to provide emergency aid, not treatment, which must be done at the hospital.

”What should we do? Tell us so we can act.” The child’s mother heard and quickly calmed her chaotic heart. Her focus was on her son, and she couldn’t afford to panic.

”Isn’t anyone from your family here to help you? How are you managing alone?” Qin Xue looked around; could she handle this by herself?

”Exactly, look at the child’s condition. Someone should have come. You can come here to play, which means your home isn’t far. By this time, someone should have recognized your family and helped to call them.” Qing Zhu observed and agreed with the logic.

”No, his father is at work, not at home, and the grandparents might be out for a walk, so they haven’t come.” The child’s mother hurriedly explained why no one had come from home. Everyone in the family is busy, spending little time together, but their love for the child is genuine. She wasn’t lying about that. If they knew about the child’s situation, they surely would come without fail.

”Alright, see if there’s someone familiar to help you take the child to the hospital. The doctors there will tell you what to do.” Qin Xue thought to herself that nowadays, people are busy with their lives, and wouldn’t take leave easily.

Moreover, these days people still often prefer sons over daughters, and since the ill child is a boy, theoretically they would not neglect him.
