Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 1159: Shade Island

SWOOSH!

Xu Feng’s body twisted and swirled around during the portal passage.

Maybe it was because of the final commotion between the Abyssal Eye and Gerry, but he found the portal extremely shaky. It was to the point where he was about to vomit.

Luckily, the nauseous feeling was gone as soon as he was thrown away like some dead fish.

PLOPPED!

He dropped to some concrete land, his landing extremely heavy. The portal subsequently disappeared, giving him no way to return to where he was from.

”Ugh, both of them are cursed beings.” Xu Feng frowned deeply. He stood up with much difficulty and glanced at his health points.

He only had 20% HP remaining after getting tortured in the portal transportation and from the residue effect from their battle.

A Tier 6 battle was not something a mere Tier 1 could withstand or even endure.

Unwilling to let his HP remain so low, Xu Feng quickly used his healing skills to recover. The benefit of being a healer was that he could always recover extremely fast without the need for any health recovery potion.

”Now, where did I get thrown off to?” He wondered with a confused expression.

Just when he was in confusion, a sudden system prompt appeared.

System Notification: Congratulations to Player Lin Feng for discovering the Shade Island!

”...”

A look of astonishment could be seen on his face. His mouth was wide open in an ”O” shape, clearly in complete disbelief.

That was it?

What kind of sick joke was that?

Gerry offered him materials to craft the Siren’s Compass so that he could find the elusive Shade Island. But before even crafting it, the portal Gerry threw him into was directly on the Shade Island.

”Hah... did I get blessed by Carmen?” Xu Feng found it difficult to believe his luck had taken a turn for the better.

Did he do so many good deeds lately that even heaven decided to bless him?

Yes, that had to be the case!

After all, he eliminated the monopolization of the Miracle Pavilion and gave many others a chance to rise in the market.

He bore so many curses and misunderstandings silently while helping the collective players for a better future.

Who else but him was this magnanimous and amazing?

”People misunderstand me daily, but heaven has eyes. They know about my predicament and the suffering I endured for the people.” Xu Feng was behaving extremely shamelessly. He had no intention of denying himself on such a credit.

While Xu Feng was basking in the achievement, the fortune continued to come in double.

System Notification: Because of the merged Phantasm and Phantasia Spirit that Player Lin Feng has absorbed! You are now able to teleport to Shade Island directly from now on!

”Wow, talk about letting me return whenever I want.” He was flabbergasted.

The coveted island, which was coveted by multiple people, was just earned like this.

It would be a lie to not say it felt so surreal, even for someone like him who had experienced a lot.

”The teleportation is actually set to extreme private mode.” Xu Feng’s eyes twitched slightly.

There were two teleportation modes called public and private. The public meant it was free access for all without any restriction. Private meant it was still accessible, but with certain restrictions dependent on the location itself.

These two modes were common knowledge among the collective players, but what they didn’t know was the extreme private mode.

Extreme private mode meant the location itself was incapable of being pinpointed unless the player earned the prerequisites or recognition.

To summarize, it was a unique location—one that was even more exclusive than Willowbrook Village or Paradise Plains.

”I guessed this is enough explanation to Handsome Chao, right?” Xu Feng truly had no intention of progressing further with the Phantasm Sea.

Too many hints had been shown to him that exploring was beyond his capacity.

The mission that Handsome Chao handed him was only about discovering the Shade Island and nothing else. It didn’t have any other follow-up or discussion about the events in the Phantasm Sea.

Therefore, the wise choice was to flee and come back once he got stronger.

Sometime later, Xu Feng exited the Phantasm Sea. As soon as he stepped out of the vicinity, the curse effect from the Abyssal Eye was disabled.

’Crap, did my Phantasm Skill get disabled as well?’ Xu Feng was worried and hurriedly opened his skill tree.

Once he saw the skill tree was lit up, he heaved a sigh of relief. Though it wasn’t for long when he read the description.

System Notification: Because Player Lin Feng had yet to complete the Phantasm Sea Legacy event. The skill effects are temporarily halved once the player is outside the Phantasm Sea. Full potential would be unlocked when the player completes the legacy.

Having finished reading the system prompt, Xu Feng still decided it was better than nothing.

Such a broken skill, he expected it to be disabled.

Thus, he was grateful to have it available.

Though he had a feeling that it was mostly because of Burpe’s manipulation.

Xu Feng was about to report the completion of his mission to Handsome Chao, only to realize the latter wasn’t present.

”Where did he go?”

Dumbfounded, he glanced around and spotted a note left behind.

[Cursed Colossuses dared to rob my shipment of goods! I’m off to give them a good thrashing, so anyone who seeks my presence can wait till I’m done.] ---Handsome Chao

Xu Feng’s expression turned complicated.

Why were the Colossuses seeking their downfall so fast?

Of all the people they decided to rob, they chose to rob Handsome Chao’s goods??!

This was the express way to ruination!

Just when Xu Feng thought things couldn’t be any better, he suddenly received a message from Veronica.

Vortex Viper: Guild Leader, you’re finally able to be contacted! Did you know the Miracle Pavilion is on the verge of collapse?

”On the verge of collapse?” Amused, he wondered if Yaren had already made a sweeping storm in eliminating the Miracle Pavilion’s Profession players.

’If they’re all in jail, then I can poach them to work as slaves for my shop in exchange for freedom.’
