Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 320: Nether Blast

Xu Fengʼs clear and concise explanation made Brutus and Razor wary.

After all, only those who are experienced in battle could explain it so clearly when teaching others.

They glanced at each other and were inwardly thankful for their actions. To be honest, the gold coins were indeed a great temptation, but it wasnʼt enough to make them act submissive.

Instead, it was the mysterious aura that Xu Feng was exuding that made them quite cautious.

To not be afraid of their presence and remain so calm was not something one could fake or act in an instant. One must have been really experienced and gone through numerous trials to be able to remain so calm and collected in the face of a crisis.

”Boss, do you want a spar as well?” Brutus mustered up his courage and asked, wanting to test Xu Fengʼs strength for himself.

”Hmm, very well.” Xu Feng stretched his neck and agreed with the spar.

Since he planned on having these two spar with Carmen, he wanted her combat to improve. However, it seemed he needed to show a bit more— an example to be precise.

He didnʼt wish to affect Carmenʼs own learning and style of battle, but giving her some reference points to study wasnʼt all that bad either.

As Carmen took a step back and found a prime spot to witness the spar, Xu Fengʼs gaze locked on Razor and Brutus.

”The two of you can spar with me with your full strength. Donʼt hold anything back, otherwise, you can kiss your gold coins goodbye.” Xu Feng warned sternly.

”A-Are you sure about that, Boss?” Razor was alarmed when he heard the command. If he were really to go all-out, he was afraid he might accidentally kill Xu Feng.

However, Brutus was more excited than ever.

”You worry too much, Razor. Did you forget Boss is immortal?” He snickered coldly, clearly wanting to take this chance to get some revenge for being forced to act as a chair.

Realization dawned upon Razor when he recalled Xu Feng and Carmen were both immortal.

They couldnʼt be killed, so there was no need to worry in the first place. He only restricted himself earlier because he didnʼt wish to hurt Carmen but for Xu Feng?

That was a totally different story.

A menacing grin appeared on both their faces, and Carmen realized just how hateful her guild leader could be.

ʼFengʼs aggro is even superior to tanks!ʼ She exclaimed inwardly, getting ready to record and have it be remembered forever. After all, she seriously doubted Xu Feng was capable of sparring with these two NPCs who were clearly at the level of Tier 3.

Yes, Tier 3 and not Tier 1 or Tier 2, but a bona fide Tier 3 fighter.

People who are eligible to enter Paradise Plains must be at least Tier 3 or have enough connections. The only other reason why they would be weaker than that was the Arena Balanced Fight system.

Since she had not truly grasped her power as a Tier 1 Voidmancer, Carmen set the balanced fight to Tier 1, which was why Death Bringer, who was a Tier 3 fighter, became Tier 1 in the battle stage.

Amidst her daze, the sparring had already commenced.

Brutus started charging straight at Xu Feng, with Razor providing support by firing numerous bullets at Xu Feng.

They were going all out to ensure Xu Feng was eliminated before he could even make a move.

”Heh, die!” Brutus sneered coldly, feeling excited to swing his axe at him.

As Brutus thought his axe connected, he realized he had swung at the air.

”Huh?” Confusion hit Brutus, but before he could comprehend further, his companion shouted in alarm.

”Watch out in the sky, Brutus!” Razor changed his trajectory and fired at the sky where Xu Feng had somehow appeared.

However, the moment he pulled the trigger, Xu Feng was gone once again, dumbfounding him.

”Where did he go?” Razor raised an eyebrow, glancing at their surroundings.

”Behind you!” Brutus exclaimed.

”What?” Alarmed, Razor turned around, only to end up being blinded, forcing him to close his eyes.

”Thatʼs Blinding Strike!” Carmen exclaimed, surprised that Xu Feng managed to land a perfect blinding strike. She wasnʼt affected, given she was quite far from the sparring field.

However, Brutus was unlucky to be in proximity of the blinding strike range.

He had to temporarily close his eyes as well, prompting him unable to provide ample defense support for Razor,

Meanwhile, Xu Feng took the opportunity and gathered dark energy into a dense sphere in his hand.

He then launched it straight at the blinded Razor.

The sphere exploded on contact, unleashing a powerful shockwave that tore through the air, striking Razor with immense force. The blast hit hard, and Razorʼs defenses were immediately weakened by the lingering energy, leaving him vulnerable.

Nevertheless, Razor managed to regenerate rather quickly and repositioned himself.

”Okay, that should be enough.” Xu Feng quickly clasped his hands and called it an end to the sparring.

Although it was very short and not much had happened, everyone was able to tell Xu Feng had been dominating from the start.

If Xu Feng was on the same level as Razor and Brutus, they were positive that their defeat might be even quicker.

”Guild Leader, what was that?” Carmen excitedly ran toward Xu Feng and began questioning him. ”I know Blinding Strike, but what was that last move you used to attack Razor? That blast power is no joke and I thought you changed to an Arcane Mage class.”

”Oh, thatʼs Nether Blast.” Xu Feng coolly explained. ”I learned it when I reached level 15 from the glitch exp.”

”Nether Blast?” Astounded, Carmen had researched a little bit of the Cleric class, but there wasnʼt an offensive spell like the Nether Blast.

She knitted her brows, seemingly trying to comprehend how Xu Feng managed to learn a fearsome spell like that. ʼI donʼt even have that kind of powerful offensive spell at level 15. Did the Guild Leader use an exploit again?ʼ
