Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 261: Equipment Designs

When Xu Fengʼs eyes laid upon one of the designs, he was utterly astonished.

ʼThe Elemental Warrior Set.ʼ He inwardly exclaimed, grabbing the Equipment Design and reading it.

This could be considered a universal equipment set that everyone wanted.

After all, it offered a well-rounded combination of offense and defense.

Having this equipment set was equivalent to saving many expenses. For players who need to constantly purchase different items or gears to combat a certain environment, the Elemental Warrior Set was a blessing to their plight.

The reason why Jessica didnʼt pay much attention to this set was because it was only viable for people level 15 and up to 30.

Hence, the NPCs naturally frown upon this, but for the players, especially at the current time, this set was perfect for them once they reached level 15 and qualified to enter the city.

Despite his excitement, Xu Feng held a stoic expression on the surface.

”I can see that the association doesnʼt have many equipment designs, and I donʼt want to make things difficult.” Xu Feng sighed softly and said, ”Iʼll take this Elemental Warrior Set design.”

Surprised, Jessica didnʼt expect Xu Feng to choose the design. Just like Xu Feng had thought, the design was not worth much in her eyes.

Hence, she was rather slick and nodded her head. ”Very well, that design is yours from now on.”

Xu Feng ignored her clear blissful expression that seemed to look at him as if he was an idiot for choosing such a design. Instead, he had inspected the other designs and knew they were not viable for him.

”Alright, what is the other design that you actually wanted me to study?” He inquired softly.

Most of them were for a singular item or items that required a ton of rare materials.

And these types of rare materials were not available in the city or anywhere nearby, and Xu Feng doubted Howard was capable enough to have them either.

Not to mention, the designs were not useful or valuable in any way. It provided zero benefits even if a player managed to craft them.

Meanwhile, Jessica smiled bitterly and realized Xu Feng was more than the eyes meet.

”Youʼre right, these designs wonʼt be helpful for you in the competition. Everyone that participates more or less are people who studied for many years. Of course, to make things fair, only amateurs could compete, otherwise, there would be no hope for newcomers.” She explained softly.

Nodding, Xu Feng didnʼt find this requirement to be surprising.

If Paradise Plains allowed veterans or masters in their Professions to the competition, then there wouldnʼt have been much of a crowd within Star Falls City.

Who would want to compete knowing there are many masters superior to them in the competition?

”The actual design that the manager wanted you to use to win is this,” Jessica formally said and retrieved a hidden design from the shelf.

Upon receiving the design, Xu Fengʼs eyes widened in shock. ”A tier 1 stamina gemstone?”

Others might not know, but gemstones are like an enhancement to certain equipment that allows gem slots to further improve their attributes and stats.

Stamina gemstone for one was an extremely rare gemstone, given that once equipped with the equipment, it would boost the playerʼs stamina and even their stamina recovery.

At the current stage, players had still not realized the durability of their equipment and stamina was a major problem.

But once they entered the city and attempted to grind further, they would soon realize their durability would decrease tremendously and their stamina could no longer keep up with the demand.

”Indeed, Manager Howard is really desperate and does not wish to see the city stagnate further. Hence, the tier 1 stamina gemstone design was decided to give to you to bring glory to Star Falls City.” Jessica explained, her expression solemn.

Xu Feng was silent for a few seconds before accepting the design. ”Since Manager Howard gave this much sincerity, it would be rude of me to reject him.”

”Iʼm glad about your determination. Thereʼs a crafting workstation available for you at your new hotel.” Jessica smiled, putting the other designs back on their respective shelves.

”The hotel has been completed?” Alarmed, Xu Feng didnʼt expect the hotel he wanted on a specific land to be completed already.

Just previously, he was inspecting one of the lands he owned and deduced it would still be a while before it was done.

Yet now he was told one of the other areas was done with the construction.

”The constructors work fast when required.” Jessica giggled and informed him that he should hurry over there to complete his registration for the opening.

Hearing her, Xu Feng finally realized why the building he inspected would take so long to complete. It appeared that the other land deed of his had taken most of the great constructorsʼ time.

Despite that, Xu Feng was more than grateful for Jessicaʼs arrangement and kind advice.

Since the hotel was completed and with the current crowd of people waiting for the teleportation platform to transport them to Paradise Plains, they must be searching for a place to stay.

And his hotel was exactly at the prime location.

This was literally money waiting to be poured into him.

As the owner, he must now head over there to complete the registration and personally authorize the opening of the hotel. Otherwise, no one else was allowed into the hotel.

Just when Xu Feng was about to bid his farewell, Jessica said, ”By the way, Iʼve already hired some people who used to work in hotels for you. Of course, if you donʼt want them, you can dismiss them.”

”Heh, I see you are really trying to make it up for this impromptu competition signed up for me.” Xu Feng chuckled softly, waving his hand and hastened his pace.

At the same time, he couldnʼt help but realize he had fallen deep into this carrot-and-stick method.

ʼThey really know what I need the most.ʼ He smiled bitterly.
