Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 136: Favor

Going back 10 minutes ago, outside Riverwood Town, in a densely crowded forest. At a nearby corner, OneManMedia held a bittersweet smile as he glanced at the agitated crowd a few distance away from him.

There were multiple people crowding together, hoping to get the opportunity to join Gentle Windʼs Silver Wind Guild.

Since the current hot trend was about Silver Wind Guild, everyone wanted to get a piece of this and broadcast it.

Not only was Gentle Wind a beauty that even with a 10% maximum adjustment to appearance, could not mask her aura, but she was also the leader of a frightening guild.

To be able to achieve the first-clear achievement in Hell Mode difficulty already, was the most shocking aspect.

Thus, everyone now wanted an exclusive interview with Gentle Wind.

However, wanting it and getting it were two different things. Such a simple logic was not hard to understand, and as a loner without much of a platform or background to support him, OneManMedia found it difficult to land an interview with such a figure.

ʼWait a minute… didnʼt Lin Fengʼs boss want to recruit me previously?ʼ OneManMedia suddenly thought of this mysterious person who subsequently faded from the limelight.

His hands were trembling as he wondered if it was possible to ask the latter for a favor.

”I donʼt want to join his guild or organization, but if they speak a few nice words for me on behalf, then I can get this exclusive interview.” He muttered, opening up his conversation list.

Right at this moment when he was debating whether to contact the person or not, his eardrums nearly burst from the frantic crowdʼs noise.

”Wooo, Iʼm over here Guild Leader Gentle Wind!”

”Please recruit me to your guild. Iʼm a strong Assassin and can help you eliminate all the pests!”

”Hmph, what can an Assassin like you do? Obviously, Guild Leader Gentle Wind needs a tanker like me. Iʼm a Knight Lancer and can easily repel any pests approaching her!”

As the crowd hype reached its peak due to Gentle Wind stepping on the stage, OneManMediaʼs dilemma heightened further. As a solo reporter, he knew very well that once the golden timing was missed, it would be over.

ʼAh, screw it. Iʼll just be shameless and ask for a favor.ʼ OneManMedia screamed internally, scratched his hair into a mess, and sent a message.

Finally, back in the present, OneManMedia was once again stunned on the spot after reading the message.

”Sigh, as expected. The person isnʼt an idiot or anything.” He purposely gave himself leeway by stating that he wouldnʼt do anything against his principles, but it was easily noticed by the other party.

Time was ticking down, and OneManMedia knew if it delayed any longer, his career would be in danger, especially when he spotted familiar people in the same field having a great angle of Gentle Wind.

He gritted his teeth and decided to take a gamble.

ʼItʼs all or nothing then.ʼ he exclaimed, typing rapidly on the hologram keyboard and sending the message.

OneManMedia: I understand your worries, but as long as itʼs not too overboard, I will help you three times in exchange for this favor.

Anonymous User: Alright, Iʼll cut you some slack for now. Since my subordinate, Lin Feng rarely requests me to recruit someone, I shall do him a favor and help you this time.

”Great, the gamble works.” OneManMedia clasped his hands, wanting to jump up in joy.

Although he didnʼt really understand the relationship between this mysterious person and Gentle Wind, he knew it was definitely not something simple.

Hence, with such a promise, it was indeed a guarantee that he would get this exclusive interview.

Sure enough, a few minutes later, someone from the Silver Wind Guild started telling people to move aside and create a path for him.

”Everyone move out of the way for me! Otherwise, you can forget about trying out for the recruiting process.” After seeing the guild emblem on the personʼs chest and his fierce tone, the rest of the crowd subsequently created a mini passage for him to navigate.

As the person walked past them, some of them began gossiping among themselves.

”Hey, whoʼs that person? Why is he so arrogant?” One of the people asked, clearly ignorant of their identity.

”Shush, are you tired of living? You donʼt even know who that person is and want to join the Silver Wind Guild?” Another more logical person suddenly warned sternly.

”Is he someone very high up?”

”Very high up? That person is from the elite team and is on the name listed in the First-Clear Achievement, Steelshot!”

”S-So heʼs Steelshot?”

Once someone revealed that playerʼs identity, everyone was thankful to themselves for not giving off a bad impression.

As for the ignorant person, his face turned ashen gray rather quickly, almost as if he wanted to dig a hole and hide. ”I-Itʼs over… I hope Steelshot didnʼt hear my question earlier.”

Others only took a few glances at this ignorant person before ignoring him, with most distancing from him.

Meanwhile, Steelshot continued to frantically advance forward and yelled, ”Whereʼs OneManMedia? Come over to me!”

When OneManMedia heard his name being called, he shuddered briefly before raising his hand once he noticed the shouter was Steelshot.

As a reporter, it would be a failure for him to not recognize any important figures.

”Iʼm here,” OneManMedia responded.

”Itʼs you?” Steelshot was taken aback by his appearance.

”Anyway, whatʼs the code?” Nevertheless, he shook his head and proceeded to ask for the crucial information.

”A code?” Dumbfounded, OneManMedia tilted his head, clearly unable to comprehend the code.

Meanwhile, Steelshot eyed him suspiciously, wondering if he was just pretending to be the person he was looking for.

”Are you sure youʼre OneManMedia? Iʼm looking for him urgently because of the guild leader, so if youʼre fooling me. Then youʼre going to get it.” Steelshot threatened.

There were only two people he was afraid of. One of them was naturally his guild leader, and the other one was Lin Feng.

Having offended Lin Feng previously, he had already received the type of punishment you would get from him. You wonʼt die, but your mentality would definitely be screwed.
