Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 113: Ning Yi

The moment Ning Yi finished his remarks, Catherine dropped her measuring tape, unable to get a grip after hearing what he said.

As for Xu Feng, he was perplexed and baffled by the remark.

Was this Ning Yi for real?

Fat man?

He, a physically fit person was actually being called by someone whose size could possibly match the size of a battle tank?

What kind of joke was this?

”Ahem, you are quite the joker, Mister Ning.” Xu Feng faked a cough and commented.

”What joke? Your fat size is the joke, mister. Why are you torturing poor Catherine by measuring your size? Do you know how difficult it is to measure your kind of size?” Ning Yi rebuked, shocked that his statement was not taken seriously.

Meanwhile, Xu Feng was utterly speechless by this shameless fat pig. He turned to Catherine, who seemingly held a helpless expression as well.

ʼSo itʼs not the typical arrogant young master, but itʼs someone who doesnʼt have any shame and is very narcissistic.ʼ Xu Feng concluded silently.

It was no wonder why Catherineʼs face turned pale earlier. After all, who could interact and deal with such a customer without losing their cool?

Taking a closer look at this supposed Ning Yi, he had to admire one thing: his confident demeanor.

Ning Yi had an imposing figure, and his overly obese frame immediately drew attention.

Despite his size, he carried himself with remarkable confidence, his posture straight and his head held high. His round face was framed by neatly trimmed hair, and his sharp, intelligent eyes sparkled with determination and self-assuredness.

However, he needed some reality check to believe he was the physically fit one.

”Thereʼs a mirror over there, so why donʼt we have a comparison to see whoʼs the fat one?” Xu Feng pointed at the center wall and suggested.

”Thereʼs no need to compare. One glance at you is enough to determine youʼre the fat one. So why donʼt you let me talk with Catherine first while you wait at the side.” Ning Yi quickly said in response, clearly avoiding going toward the mirror.

Instantaneously, Xu Feng seemed to deduce that this Ning Yi was just acting hooligan. It wasnʼt that his brain was going crazy, but he was using this kind of tactic to drive him away.

ʼHeh, want to play hooligan? The two can play the same game.ʼ Xu Feng snickered inwardly.

Normally, he wouldnʼt care, but to be judged so erroneously wrong by someone, he was very displeased.

If he was considered fat, then there are no fit or skinny people in this world.

”Sorry, but youʼll need to wait. I was here first and Catherine is still assisting me.” Xu Feng waved his hand, returning the favor of shooing him away instead.

”You are so selfish. Iʼll be fast with my size, unlike you.” Baffled, Ning Yi could not believe Xu Feng to be so unreasonable.

”Yes, Iʼm fat, so respect me. Unless you hate fat people!” Xu Feng retorted.

Instantly, Ning Yi was stunned and swallowed whatever words he was about to spout.

ʼThis person is not easy. How am I supposed to rebuke him?ʼ Ning Yi cursed silently. If he said he hates fat people, then wouldnʼt he be talking about himself?

But if he doesnʼt say that, then he would have to wait longer.

”What is your name?” Ning Yi tried to maintain his composure and asked.

”Shouldnʼt you introduce yourself first?” Xu Feng responded swiftly.

”Fine, Iʼm Ning Yi, and an amazingly fit person.”

”Iʼm Xu Feng and an amazingly fat person.”

Suddenly, the two remained silent for a brief seconds before bursting out in laughter.

”Ahh, you are good!” Ning Yi clapped his hands. ”Normally, people would be disgusted and even start cursing me vulgarly, but you actually play along.”

Xu Feng shrugged his shoulders in response.

Having interacted with so many different types of people, he could easily discern that Ning Yi meant no harm and was joking.

It was most likely his style to try to irritate or provoke others by constantly saying such nonsensical stuff.

Thus, he was provoked originally but composed himself once he realized something was wrong.

”Um, so should I resume the measuring?” Catherine, who had been sidelined for a while, asked in a daze, clearly confused by the ordeal that had taken place.

”Oh, of course,” Xu Feng extended his arms.

As for Ning Yi, he merely took a step back, indicating his intention.

With that said, Catherine resumed measuring Xu Fengʼs size while Ning Yi began asking questions.

”Anyway, Xu Feng, you donʼt look too old, so how could you afford these luxury suits? Do you have a rich dad like me who can squander his wealth like itʼs nothing?”

”...”

Xu Feng nearly dropped his glasses when he realized just how casual this Ning Yi person could be. As for Catherine, she pretended to be deaf and continued with her work.

”I might be young, but Iʼve got some money.” Xu Feng responded when he saw the eager look from him.

”Ahh, so youʼre self-made. Impressive. But not as impressive as me who was born with a golden— no, diamond spoon.” Ning Yi chuckled heartedly.

”You are quite the honest, fella.”

”Of course, I am. I hate dishonest folks the most, so why should I lie?”

”Then what about your actual physiques?”

”Cough, I donʼt know what youʼre talking about.” Ning Yi coughed and redirected the conversation.

”Wait, so youʼre probably a student, right. How come youʼre not at school? I doubt you can be like me and cut classes without a care.”

”Canʼt you be quiet for a minute?” Xu Feng rolled his eyes, finding this Ning Yi very talkative. He was here to buy a suit, and not here to be questioned by someone he had just met.

Additionally, Xu Feng only entertained him mainly because he subtly recalled a person named Ning Yi. And no, it was not because this person had a good reputation, but because this person was quite notorious.

”Is your so-called rich dad, Ning Huo?”
