Weakest Beast Tamer Gets All SSS Dragons

Chapter 1143 - Taming the Wall - Test - 3

When Ren engaged the three-way beast fusion, his consciousness violently expanded outward. His sensory network artificially bloated to an almost god-like scale compared to any other tamer.

And during those secret subterranean practice sessions he did in Selphiraʼs chamber full of concealing artifacts, swimming in that expanded state of perception, it hadnʼt cost him a single ounce of effort to detect her beastsʼ movements.

He had felt the distant, faint outlines of her heavy presences shifting in the dark. He had watched the invisible circular formation quietly rearranging itself, day after day, hovering just on the razorʼs edge of what even a Tamer of his caliber should theoretically be able to sense without the mushroom being active.

Selthia had confidently parked her apocalyptic strike force right on that boundary line, completely convinced she was invisible.

To the baseline, everyday Ren, she would have been.

To the three-way fused Ren, she was standing under a spotlight all the time it lasted.

Ren had known for days that Selthia was holding her heavy hitters at the edge of his radar. He knew it was only a matter of time before she attempted to shatter his defensive grid.

And he deliberately let it happen...

He didnʼt do it out of foolish arrogance. He didnʼt do it solely out of his insatiable academic curiosity either, although that burning need to dissect a problem was always simmering just beneath the surface.

He did it because he actively wanted to extract something highly valuable from this expected exchange.

He wanted to measure the macro-siege capabilities of humanityʼs greatest enemy more intimately.

He wanted to understand exactly how her mind operated when she was granted the luxury of time to plan.

He needed to see exactly what kind of scheme she was capable of unleashing when she stopped improvising in the dirt and executed a meticulously prepared, long-term strategy.

So, he let her believe she held the initiative…

He willingly handed her the steering wheel. He wasnʼt particularly worried about any possible structural damage, because he had already run the geographic calculations: even at maximum velocity, Selthiaʼs strike force would have to physically cross the massive ”no-detection zone” during the assault.

For a Tamer operating at Renʼs perception range, that geographical buffer guaranteed him several minutes to react.

Selthia truly believed she had him wandering in the dark.

Her disposable Silver-tier scouts had watched him launch into the sky, confirming he had abandoned his post. Then the beasts stationed near Roranʼs sector watched him land, confirming he had swallowed the decoy hook, line, and sinker.

According to Selthiaʼs tactical read, the operation was executing flawlessly. The single most dangerous Tamer in existence for her was currently miles away from his precious first tower, completely fooled, desperately chasing a phantom threat while her real hammer would have crushed his naked sector.

She couldnʼt even begin to fathom that Ren knew absolutely everything. Perfectly. From the very beginning.

She didnʼt realize that the agonizing ”zero action” in his sector over the last few weeks hadnʼt been a stroke of luck, but a carefully laid trap. She didnʼt know Liora was already airborne, diving toward the Southeast before the wooden tower even hit the mud. Every single microscopic movement Selthia believed she had brilliantly concealed had been witnessed, cataloged, and flawlessly anticipated by a teenage boy who had simply stepped back to watch her play her hand.

Liora and Mayo reinforced the buckling sector.

Standing on the parapet, Liora didnʼt hesitate. She instantly summoned the Bashe and triggered a full dual fusion. The colossal, two spiritual fire serpents erupted into the physical world, crashing down onto the frontline with a crushing, incinerating weight the Platinum and Gold-rank beasts hadnʼt prepared for.

The flaming serpents violently surged forward, slamming their massive, burning coils directly into the Platinum horror, physically interposing their fiery mass between the behemoth and the vulnerable stone of the Wall.

Sustained by the sheer, unadulterated power of Lioraʼs fusion, the Bashes locked the Platinum beast in a brutal, grinding, slowly losing, stalemate.

The Platinum monster, which had just successfully shattered an autonomous tower and fully expected to carve through a soft, terrified garrison, suddenly found itself wrestling a fully fused, dual-contract Tamer beasts who absolutely refused to yield a single inch of ground.

And the minutes Liora bought were exactly the time Ren needed.

Because while Selthia arrogantly believed Ren was currently bogged down in Roranʼs sector, thinking of the Gold rank capabilities and completely ignorant to the slaughter happening at home, the reality was vastly different.

Ren had arrived, instantly deduced the decoy for what it was, neutralized the immediate threat with brutal ease and speed, and was already burning through the sky on his way back.

Just minutes later...

Ren crashed into the Southwest sector like a localized extinction event.

The three-way fused Hydra plummeted from the clouds, carrying the catastrophic, gravitational mass of a creature that physically rivaled Selthiaʼs Platinum beast in size, but utterly dwarfed it in raw, multi-elemental power.

The colossal impact violently shook the bedrock of the entire sector. A shockwave of displaced air and shattered earth ripped outward, flattening the Gold rank frontline of the corrupted swarm.

To the absolute, horrifying surprise of Selthia, who had spent weeks meticulously planning this exact operation, who had arrogantly believed she controlled every single variable on the board, who had executed her highly refined strategy to the letter, the boy she thought she had tricked was here.

Right now.

Landing directly on top of her prized beasts with a kinetic force that defied the biological laws of mana.

Somewhere far away in the dark wasteland, feeling the catastrophic impact ripple through the nervous systems of her dying creatures, Selthia physically flinched.

The sheer magnitude of the monster that had just fallen from the sky registered in her mind. And in that terrifying, frozen microsecond, she finally understood the reality of the board. She was about to lose a Platinum asset and dozens of heavy Gold shock-troops for almost nothing.

Her flawless, perfectly executed strategy had been, from the very beginning, a trap nestled inside a trap.

And she was the one who had walked right into it.
