Chapter 214 New Skills: Damage Curse, Skeletal Fangs, Summoning Wight General

Book Chapter 214 New Skills: Damage Curse, Skeletal Fangs, Summoning Wight General

[Acquired Skill: Damage Curse. Lin]

[Damage Curse (Level 1): Curse enemies within a 1-meter range, causing them to receive 1% increased damage from all sources for 1 minute.]

Lin Mo murmured as he saw the skill, a slight smile playing on his lips.

This skill is quite powerful.

Although it’s currently only level 1, both its range and bonus are pitifully low.

Even when combined with his innate talents, it might not be very strong.

It could only counterbalance a defensive enhancement state of a Prophet, at best.

But once the skill level goes up, the effect will be completely different.

Lin Mo felt anticipation rising in his heart, wishing he could rush into the “Tyrant Desert” now to find the Desert Fruit and max out the Damage Curse skill.

The red light dissipated, and Lin Mo’s first sight was three pairs of eyes.

“This time it’s the Damage Curse, which can increase the damage enemies take.”

The three immediately understood upon hearing this, realizing it was in contrast to the defensive enhancement of support skills.

The Prophet’s state enhances their own defense, reducing damage.

Lin Mo’s curse weakens the enemy’s defense and strengthens damage.

Both the slow curse and the damage curse have their uses; they are both very powerful skills.

Bai Yiyuan had already noticed that the Death Mage class seemed to have no useless skills.

“Continue daily updates! Updating? Continue speaking in the group. () Every time 100 cards!”

There were still 600 skill scrolls left.

Lin Mo nodded and began to use the skill scrolls to continue daily updates! Updating? Continue speaking in the group. () Every time 100 cards were activated in large batches.

Brilliant light shone like stars.

The first time, failure.

The second time, failure.

The third time, the fourth time…

Four consecutive failures to awaken skills.

Bai Yiyuan frowned, “Two hundred at a time.”

There were now 200 novice skill scrolls left.

Lin Mo didn’t hesitate and activated them directly.

Anyway, if they were used up, he could just buy more.

Money could be earned again once it was spent.

Two hundred skill scrolls burst with brilliant light, enveloping Lin Mo.

The light quickly dimmed.

“Failed!”

Lin Mo sighed lightly in his heart.

Not only him, but Bai Yiyuan also felt the failure.

Suddenly, he felt something was wrong.

Lin Mo also suddenly raised his head, “Something’s not right!”

The light dimmed, but it didn’t disappear.

Instead, it turned black.

Then Lin Mo saw within the darkness, a burst of pure white light rushing out.

Like the first light breaking through the darkness of the world, bursting out and exploding into thousands of stars, brilliant and dazzling.

[Acquired Skill: Skeletal Fangs.]

[Skeletal Fangs (Level 1): Release skeletal fangs to attack enemies. The number and power of skeletal fangs depend on the skill level and one’s own spiritual power.]

A dark attack skill.

No, Lin Mo immediately denied his thoughts.

According to his current class situation, this skill should belong to the skeletal system, just like skeletal armor.

Currently, his class skills can be divided into soul, summoning, curse, and skeletal systems.

Completely different from the elemental system of mages, although the Death Mage also bears the title of mage, it is fundamentally different from mages.

The four system skills, none of them are weak.

Lin Mo believed that Skeletal Fangs would also be powerful.

Moreover, the quantity changes according to the level, indicating that Skeletal Fangs is a group attack skill.

Lin Mo briefly explained this skill.

Bai Yiyuan directly pointed to the sky, “Release it!”

Lin Mo complied and released the Skeletal Fangs.

Buzz!

A deep sound echoed, a row of skeletal fangs flew out from Lin Mo’s hand, bringing a strong whistling sound, sharp and piercing, shooting straight into the sky.

Then they exploded one by one in the air, bursting into pure white light.

This row of skeletal fangs amounted to 40 in total.

The power seemed decent.

Bai Yiyuan looked at Meng Anwen, “How do you feel?”

Meng Anwen said, “The attack power is decent.”

“What do you mean by decent.”

Meng Anwen gave him a glance, “The power of each fang is comparable to a level 30 Mage’s Fireball in its perfect state.”

Bai Yiyuan widened his eyes, “Such power? And it’s only level 1.”

The perfect state Meng Anwen referred to not only includes the auxiliary state but also requires perfect equipment, at least a full set of gold-level equipment, while the skill must reach level 30, reaching an unimprovable state.

Meng Anwen shook his head, “It’s not that the skill power is great, it’s that Lin kid’s talent is strong, greatly amplifying the skill.”

“That’s the same!” Bai Yiyuan waved his hand, “In that case, if the skill is cultivated to level 30, the power can be increased several times.”

“In theory, yes!” Meng Anwen gave an affirmative answer.

Lin Mo was clear that with his Skeletal Fangs, coupled with his amplification talent, the power increased by 40 times.

Not only did the power increase by 40 times, but the quantity also increased by 40 times.

Otherwise, it wouldn’t be possible to have so many Skeletal Fangs at level 1.

He looked forward to what it would be like when the level increased.

At least he now had an active group attack skill.

No longer just the monotonous Soul Flames.

With diversified attack methods, there are many benefits for mages.

With the skill scrolls used up, Lin Mo asked, “Teacher, should I buy some more novice skill scrolls?”

Bai Yiyuan shook his head, “Not in a hurry, let Lao Meng test how many skills you haven’t learned yet.”

“Can this be tested too?” Lin Mo had never heard of it.

He was relatively ignorant in this area.

Bai Yiyuan smiled mysteriously, “Others may not be able to, but Lao Meng can. It’s not 100% accurate, but it can give a rough estimate.”

Lin Mo nodded respectfully and bowed to Meng Anwen.

Meng Anwen smiled faintly and flicked his finger, sending a gentle breeze.

It seemed to be a detection technique.

With Meng Anwen’s level, he only needed one glance to see Lin Mo’s attributes, and he didn’t even need a detection technique.

The breeze rotated around Lin Mo, circling round and round.

After a dozen or so rounds, it returned to Meng Anwen’s hand.

Bai Yiyuan was the first to ask, “How is it?”

Meng Anwen shook his head, “It’s strange, the detection is not very clear, it seems there is another one, but not many.”

Bai Yiyuan frowned, “What do you mean ’seems’? Either there is or there isn’t.”

Meng Anwen carefully sensed again, “There should be one or two more skills.”

Still not a definite answer.

Bai Yiyuan chose to believe Meng Anwen, “Use the shining novice skill scrolls.”

Lin Mo nodded and took out a shining novice skill scroll.

The shining novice skill scroll emitted dazzling golden light.

Golden light spurted out like a fountain, very beautiful.

Different from ordinary scrolls, the scroll automatically floated in mid-air, slowly rotating.

Lin Mo infused spiritual power and began to activate it.

Huh?

The scroll showed no response at all.

Bai Yiyuan said, “Increase your spiritual power; this thing isn’t easy to activate.”

Lin Mo nodded and immediately increased his spiritual power.

As the huge spiritual power poured in, the golden light on the scroll became brighter and began to dazzle.

With a light bang!

The skill scroll finally exploded.

At the moment of explosion, the entire Bai Shen Courtyard was shrouded in golden light.

The shining novice skill scroll had quite a commotion.

In the golden light, Lin Mo saw a peculiar scene.

A skeletal army was orderly advancing in the picture, skeletal warriors in front, forming a square formation, majestic and imposing.

Skeletal mages followed behind, with elemental power emanating from their hands, their might shaking the heavens.

Behind the skeletal army, there was an undead figure commanding like a general, directing the skeletal army.

[Acquired Skill: Summoning Wight General.]

[Summoning Wight General (Level 1): Summon a wight general, gathering skeletal warriors and skeletal mages to form an undead army.]

[The number of undead armies depends on the level of the Summoning General skill.]

[The undead army belongs to the wight general and does not occupy summoning space.]

[When the wight general dies, the undead army led by them will return to the summoner’s command.]

With the appearance of this skill, an additional item appeared in his basic attributes: Undead Army (0/10).

Lin Mo repeatedly looked over it, beginning to understand the specific meaning of the skill; his whole body began to tremble.

Bai Yiyuan noticed that Lin Mo was not right and asked, “What’s wrong?”

Lin Mo said, “Teacher, I seem to have awakened a very powerful skill.”

“Oh? Tell me about it!”

After Lin Mo finished speaking, Bai Yiyuan exclaimed and jumped directly into the air.

He was even more excited than Lin Mo.

Ning Tairen’s mouth twitched incessantly; this skill was too outrageous.

Meng Anwen sighed, “Really a one-man army! This class is very strong, terrifyingly so!”

Each Wight General can command and lead a batch of skeletal warriors and skeletal mages to form an undead army.

And it only occupies one undead army’s position.

Now Lin Mo can summon 10 Wight Generals, which means 10 undead armies.

With the level increasing, the number of positions the Wight General can summon will increase.

A level 30 Wight General can command 300 skeletons.

With 10 undead armies, the number of skeletons will skyrocket to 3000.

This number is ten times larger than before.

Bai Yiyuan couldn’t wait any longer, “Quick, summon one to see.”

Lin Mo responded with an “oh” and was about to summon.

Suddenly, his whole body trembled, revealing a wry smile, “I can’t summon it; my spiritual power is insufficient.”

Lin Mo had consumed quite a bit of spiritual power to activate the shining scroll. Now, with only 3000 spiritual power left, summoning a Wight General, which required 4000 spiritual power, was out of the question.

“Old Meng!” Bai Yiyuan lightly called out.

Meng Anwen shot a light from his finger, landing on Lin Mo.

His spiritual power quickly recovered.

When Lin Mo’s spiritual power had recovered to 4000, he began to use the skill.

Skill: Summoning Wight General!

The gloomy wind grew stronger and stronger, and eventually, it began to howl.

The sky also darkened at this moment, and dark clouds covered the sun.

The skill made quite a commotion.

Ning Tairen furrowed his brows, his expression solemn, “This skill can actually affect the weather, like a forbidden curse!”

Bai Yiyuan and Meng Anwen were also startled by the skill’s commotion.

In their sight, a Wight General over 3 meters tall, with a huge and burly figure, holding a white bone staff, appeared beside Lin Mo.

Just like the general Lin Mo saw when awakening the skill.
