Chapter 208: How About a Speed Run?

The arrival of Phoenix Emperor Academy brought an even stronger aura than Creation World Academy.

They headed straight for the Dungeon Hall and quickly entered the [Fire God Palace] dungeon.

“Creation World and Phoenix Emperor are facing off again.”

“Can’t be helped, with Creation God Academy so far above, these two can only compete with each other for eternal second place.”

“This time they’re probably racing to see who can clear the dungeon faster.”

“No matter how they compete, they can’t break Boss Lin’s record.”

“With Creation God above them in the academies, and Boss Lin above them in dungeons, all their competition just leaves them as eternal second place.”

“Hahaha!”

Everyone laughed.

Lin Moyu pondered the auras he had sensed earlier.

Among the many boss accessory auras, one particularly special aura caught his attention.

This aura gave him a feeling similar to fire elemental monsters.

Fire elemental monsters had immunity to fire elemental damage.

That boss accessory seemed to have a similar effect.

But without seeing it directly, he couldn’t be certain.

He could look up information on boss accessories when he had the chance.

He knew very little about this area.

Bai Yiyuan didn’t seem inclined to tell him about it either.

Perhaps in the eyes of god-level experts like Bai Yiyuan, low-level boss accessories weren’t worth noticing.

Their equipment requirements had reached another level.

At least legendary-grade equipment would be needed to catch their attention.

Lin Moyu meditated and rested for three hours, undisturbed during this time.

His depleted spirit power fully recovered.

His physical stamina also recovered about 70-80%.

Fatigue was swept away.

At this point, Lin Moyu felt the difference from the 200 attribute increase.

After taking the Junior Mysterious Potion, all his attributes increased by 200.

For attributes in the tens of thousands this wasn’t much, but for him it was like a 40% increase in all attributes except spirit, making a big difference.

With increased constitution, his recovery speed greatly accelerated.

He thought of those knights with constitutions in the thousands or even tens of thousands, able to fight continuously for days without tiring.

Each career had its own advantages, not worth envying.

He got up and re-entered the Dungeon Hall.

Still the [Fire God Palace] dungeon, still Hell difficulty.

Over two hours had passed since the two top academies entered the dungeon, and they still hadn’t come out.

This result was already better than Bai Li Academy.

The teams from both Creation World and Phoenix Emperor academies had one thing in common – they abandoned the prophet.

They both used a configuration of Battle King support plus 4 healers.

This way, the team actually had five career holders who could heal.

Add a knight and six DPS.

Combat power was greatly enhanced.

If they couldn’t clear it with this, they’d be failing their boss accessories.

The Bone Armor flashed brightly, blocking all flames.

The dungeon was still scorching hot. As soon as the skeleton warriors appeared, they were surrounded by fire elements.

Just two seconds later, they burst into raging flames, turning into fire skeletons.

Lin Moyu continued with his previous strategy, advancing steadily.

Having run it five times, he was very familiar with the dungeon.

He knew clearly what monsters were in each location and how many.

Not a single monster was missed, no matter where they were hidden.

Lin Moyu’s dungeon clearing speed was too fast, not missing out on any experience or materials.

When he completed his sixth run and exited the dungeon,

He casually glanced up at the light screen above the dungeon.

Only his name was still on the screen.

The two top academy teams were slower than expected.

By now over 3 hours had passed since they entered, exceeding Lin Moyu’s estimate.

Lin Moyu looked at his name on the screen and suddenly had a mischievous idea.

“How about I go even faster?”

With this thought, he entered Hell difficulty again.

As soon as he entered, four skeleton warriors charged out.

Lin Moyu planned to do a speed run.

He would make some changes in certain places to create a record that belonged only to him.

The skeleton warriors ran extremely fast, crossing the bridge, passing the plaza, and entering the caves in the blink of an eye.

This time some monsters weren’t attracted, but Lin Moyu didn’t care.

This run was pursuing speed, not quality.

It was purely for fun.

After all, he was just an 18-year-old youth. Lin Moyu was far less mature and taciturn than he appeared on the surface.

At this moment in the White God’s courtyard.

The three were watching the situation in the [Fire God Palace] dungeon.

As master of the Dungeon Hall, Ning Tairan could view any dungeon’s situation.

He could even interfere if he wanted.

In the image, the Creation World and Phoenix Emperor teams were both battling the Fire God Palace Gardener.

They had been fighting for some time already.

The two teams’ progress looked about equal.

But considering Phoenix Emperor entered the dungeon a bit later, they were actually slightly ahead.

The three watched like they were viewing a movie.

“Looks like Phoenix Emperor will take the lead this time,” said Ning Tairan.

He was right, all three could see it.

Bai Yiyuan sipped his tea. “Normal. Phoenix Emperor is led by a Holy Fire Knight this time. Holy Fire Knights inherently have extremely strong resistance to fire elements. Combined with the Fire Bug Ring, they’ve almost achieved fire damage immunity.”

“You can see Phoenix Emperor’s healers barely need to worry about the knight.”

Holy Fire Knight was a legendary career, innately possessing a series of fire-related skills.

They had powerful fire damage reduction abilities, perfect for dungeons with strong fire damage like [Fire God Palace].

Ning Tairan said, “Not just that, all their DPS are equipped with Ice Talismans, adding water power to their attacks. Water counters fire, so the water power enhances their damage against fire monsters.”

Through their analysis, both determined Phoenix Emperor would win.

Meng Anwen spoke calmly, “Can’t say for sure until the very end. But it doesn’t matter who wins or loses between them. Old Man’s Creation God Academy can’t be shaken by anyone.”

“And with the kid Lin holding the dungeon record, they’re still eternal second place.”

A dungeon record of 1 hour 12 minutes was unprecedented and likely unbeatable.

Meng Anwen’s calm words carried a hint of pity.

Speaking of Lin Moyu, Ning Tairan’s mouth suddenly twitched.

The image before them changed.

Another scene was added.

“The brat entered the dungeon again!” Bai Yiyuan laughed, perking up at seeing Lin Moyu. “Is this his first time running this dungeon?”

Ning Tairan said irritably, “It’s his seventh time.”

He saw Lin Moyu’s next actions. “This time seems a bit different.”

Meng Anwen’s eyes opened a crack, glancing over. “He’s speed running this time. He’s going to thoroughly crush the others.”

“Didn’t expect it. He usually looks so quiet, but he’s actually quite mischievous. Old Bai, the kid Lin is a bit like you when you were young.”

Bai Yiyuan was very pleased with Lin Moyu’s actions, indeed similar to his younger self, though he had been more arrogant and less restrained than Lin Moyu.

Bai Yiyuan’s smile grew brighter. “It’s good to crush them a bit. Saves them from always being so arrogant, lets them know there are always stronger people out there.”

“When the kid Lin enters Creation World Academy later, it’ll save him from being bullied.”

Ning Tairan was stunned. “You plan to have him enter Creation World Academy?”

Normally, top geniuses like Lin Moyu would definitely enter Creation God Academy.

Meng Anwen was also puzzled, not knowing why Bai Yiyuan said this.

After all, he had previously told Lin Moyu some conditions for entering Creation God Academy. At the time everyone thought he would arrange for Lin Moyu to go there.

But Meng Anwen thought for a moment and understood why.

Bai Yiyuan argued, “Old Man already has a student. His hoarded resources have probably been used up. What’s the point of sending the kid Lin there with no resources left? To pick up others’ leftovers?”

“I know Creation World Academy still has some good things, so of course he should go there.”

Knowing about Lin Mohan, Ning Tairan heard Bai Yiyuan’s reasoning and found it made sense.

With the resources gone, what was the point of going to Creation God Academy?

To learn? Couldn’t Bai Yiyuan teach him?

Going there was just for those resources.

Ning Tairan began to consider where Ning Yiyi should go.

In the image, Lin Moyu’s speed was extremely fast, running at full speed behind the monster horde.

The skeleton warriors raced through the caves, reaching the palace entrance.

Ignoring the giant eye’s alarms, they charged into the palace all at once.

The monsters behind also chased them into the palace.

Lin Moyu was the last to enter. When he ran out the other side of the palace, the skeleton warriors had already entered the garden and were circling around.

Over 200 various monsters followed behind them.

The Gardener had already climbed out of the lava.

Bai Yiyuan’s eyebrows twitched. “This kid is playing it big.”

Indeed he was.

Running from the dungeon entrance to here in one go took less than half an hour.

Faster than any previous run.

At this moment, fifty skeleton warriors appeared simultaneously, targeting a Fire Lizard.

Skill: Slow Curse!

Under the red light, all monsters slowed down.

The skeleton warriors also struck at this moment.

Skills erupted, instantly killing the Fire Lizard.

Then came a series of explosions.

Fresh corpses, powerful explosions.

After over thirty consecutive explosions, the garden was in ruins.

Including the Gardener Boss, all monsters were killed by the blasts.

Fifty skeletons dragged dozens of fresh palace guard corpses, running towards the final boss.
