Arcane Academy: The Divine Extraction Legacy

Chapter 1106: The First Earth Immortal Spell

Shane was shocked since these werenʼt just scouts! It was a full-on invasion against his territory, the Shadow Domain.

They had surrounded not just the city, but also the Shadow Castle itself..

Valeʼs gaze sharpened as he extended his Divine Sense deeper into the castle. One of his Avatars, his third, was gone. Its soul thread had been severed, and no traces had remained.

At this point, the others, Kaela, Ryn, Elvar, Setsuna, and Madoka, had already begun scanning the area. Their expressions shifted instantly. They could tell that Valeʼs territory was in a pinch…

Thankfully, the enemies werenʼt just Lesser Immortals. None of them had reached Earth level yet… Still, considering their numbers, even a Sky Immortal would have trouble fighting against so many since they still had a limited amount of Divinity they could store within their bodies.

If they want to defeat these invaders, they have to do it with overwhelming force.

”Ohh… Thereʼs a lot of them, here…” Kaela muttered as she considered how to deal with this.

They couldnʼt show any weakness, as the enemies might become desperate and attack them without care for their lives… Even if theyʼre only Lesser Immortals, they could still be troublesome opponents.

It would be better to swiftly eliminate 30 to 50 of them and scare the rest of them…

Nonetheless, Vale would have to decide on this matter.

”Your territory is under siege…” Setsuna muttered.

Madoka, on the other hand, was amused by the situation. She also confirmed that there werenʼt any Earth or even someone as strong as them around the area… The situation was nothing to worry about in her perspective…

Vale didnʼt speak for just a moment… Then, he vanished.

There was only a wave of shadow passing through his body before he reappeared on the balcony of the Shadow Castleʼs highest tower.

The others followed instantly, appearing beside him in a flash of light and shadow...

Whom~

From here, they could see everything.

The Chaos Beasts had formed a loose perimeter around the cityʼs outer walls, while the Chaos Immortals were either up in the sky or standing on the walls of the castle…

Their collective auras caused some pressure, but it was not at the level that Vale had to worry at all… For now, he was glad that the most precious members of his circle were still alive…

ʼThereʼs even a lot of dragons now… I guess they succeeded with the recruitment. Not bad.ʼ Vale thought to himself after sensing a total of 10 Dragons, including Ryzoir and Orden…

Kaela stepped forward and tapped Valeʼs shoulder…

”Theyʼre waiting. Are we going to fight?”

Ryn and Elvar stood by her side as their eyes locked on the enemy formations.

Setsuna, on the other hand, was confident that the Chaos Immortals wouldnʼt recklessly kill themselves by attacking their group…

”They wonʼt attack yet. Not until they understand who we are.”

Madoka nodded…

But Vale didnʼt respond as he tried to look for the leader.

In the meantime, Kent and his group hovered just outside the castle, the Chaos Immortals arrayed around him, to protect him from sudden attacks…

When the group on the balcony manifested, he tensed… It was not because of their numbers, but because of what one shape suggested. The figureʼs outline and aura matched the avatar they had just torn apart.

Then, Mennena also confirmed the personʼs identity.

Eryn, at his right, readied her Immortal Spell for any sneak attack… Arin and Gyn started slowly descending as they knew that they couldnʼt just stay in one position. They need a better angle to fight against Valeʼs team.

As soon as they heard Mennenaʼs confirmation, Nyssa and Neylan knew that they had to execute their plan now…

”Weʼll not waste our time talking to him….” Kent sent through telepathy… ”Weʼll kill them now… Everyone, be ready to execute the Anti-Shadow Immortal Formation.”

At his order, hundreds of Chaos Immortals synchronized. They cupped their palms to the air and drew up Chaos Energy…

They were protected by the other hundred Immortals to ensure that the ritual would be completed.

Whoom~

Everything happened swiftly, as the force pooled and then burst outward…

The energy spread fast, and it was a suffocating pressure, especially for the mortals...

The spreading chaos energy caused a suppression to stop spells from forming… As a matter of fact, the Arcanists couldnʼt even make a simple incantation as they stutter due to the pressure.

”Hmm… Itʼs like a huge Spell Disruption Field.” Vale muttered as he watched the Chaos field unfold…

Knowing that this could harm the mortals, Vale raised a single hand and called into the shadow that had become an extension of him.

”Umbral Dominion…”

It was his very first Earth Immortal Spell that came from the fusion of three Perfect Realm Shadow Spells, Night Grasp, Grave Mist, and Soul Tethering…

Soon, darkness answered the Chaos Field with its dense aura…. It poured outward from Vale like spilled ink, swallowing the suppression fieldʼs edges until it was completely covered!

It didnʼt end there... The Umbral Dominion expanded, covering the castle, the city, and the sky above in black!

While their Chaos Energy sought to scramble or destroy other spells, Valeʼs Spells made it area perfectly suitable for Dark Arts!

Chaos Immortals tried to strengthen their Chaos Field, but the Darkness was weirdly too strong for a single Immortal!

It was too abnormal how a single Immortal could overpower their Spell!

”How is this possible?”

Kent trembled as he realized that the Shadow Immortal was several times stronger than his Avatar!

They initially thought that Vale would be at most two times or maybe four times stronger than his Avatar. However, this show of power was definitely ten or even twenty times stronger!

Vale had not merely met the suppression field, he destroyed it as well and turned their formation into his field of darkness!

”What the...” Nyssa muttered in shock.

”The ones behind him must be assisting with Spell. Other than that, I believe that heʼs using an Immortal Artifact to do all of this.” Neylan concluded as he felt his body grow colder inside Valeʼs Dominion!
