Chapter 240: Chapter 240: Luffy Defeats Yokozuna!

Seeing this, Yokozuna stood up and charged straight at Luffy.

Luffy quickly stepped back, and Yokozuna landed on the ground, crushing a huge hole into the Merry.

Seeing this, Luffy and Usopp glared angrily at Yokozuna.

”Hey, you ugly frog! How dare you wreck our ship? Do you want us to stew you right now?”

After hearing Usopp say that, Yokozuna turned and glared fiercely at him.

Usopp looked terrified, took a few steps back, and hid behind Luffy.

Yokozuna put his hands on his hips and began explaining something to them in an orderly manner.

Chopper translated for them.

”Please show some respect for your opponent. I came here to challenge you!”

Luffy’s expression instantly became serious.

He stepped forward and said:

”Then I’ll grant your request. Get ready to be sent flying!”

As soon as he finished speaking, Yokozuna flexed his muscles and took two steps forward.

Luffy and Yokozuna were both ready.

Suddenly, Luffy’s arm stretched out and slammed toward Yokozuna.

But when it struck Yokozuna, a look of surprise appeared on Luffy’s face.

His fist immediately bounced back.

The Straw Hats all looked confused.

Even Luffy wore an expression of disbelief.

He was clearly a frog, but his skin was as hard as steel.

Instead of being discouraged, Luffy became even more excited. A serious look appeared in his eyes.

He stretched both arms backward, then attacked Yokozuna from the front.

His arms tore through the air, creating wisps of white smoke.

But at that moment, Yokozuna also stretched out both hands and caught Luffy’s arms.

Yokozuna and Luffy struggled against each other, and Yokozuna did not lose ground at all.

A look of excitement appeared in Luffy’s eyes.

”Not bad, frog. I’ve decided not to eat you. But today, I’m definitely going to beat you!”

As soon as he finished speaking, Luffy’s arms began twisting.

Thin streams of heat rose from them as he twisted his arms into the shape of a rope.

A shocked expression appeared on Yokozuna’s face as well. As Luffy’s arms twisted, his entire body began spinning.

Before long, Yokozuna’s eyes were spinning in circles.

The next second, Luffy pulled his arms back, clasped both hands together, and slammed them into Yokozuna’s stomach, sending him flying.

The Straw Hats all cried out in shock.

Why were they so stunned when Luffy had only defeated a frog?

Well, a frog knowing martial arts was pretty strange.

As Yokozuna flew away, Luffy waved at him cheerfully.

”Hey, frog! Come back stronger next time!”

Hearing this, the Straw Hats all looked at Luffy with contempt.

After saying goodbye to Yokozuna, Luffy turned around.

”All right, let’s keep moving! Our goal is meat!”

The Straw Hats immediately argued back:

”It’s Water Seven!”

The Straw Hats opened the Sky Fish and followed the railway around to the back of Water Seven.

The city was bustling and full of life.

Everyone happily played in the water, and Usopp could not help sighing.

”This place is amazing. We’ve passed through so many dangerous places, and this is the most peaceful one yet. Let’s stay here for a few days.”

Hearing this, Raynor frowned slightly. Water Seven should have been the most dangerous place of all.

He did not know whether this timeline would overlap with the World Government’s mission.

After all, CP9 was not to be underestimated, especially Rob Lucci. Running into him would be quite troublesome.

Usopp in particular had a miserable role in this arc.

Thinking of this, Raynor still could not bring himself to let Usopp suffer that kind of injury again.

With that thought in mind, Raynor silently said to himself:

”System, retrieve the Origin Pistol!”

As soon as he finished speaking, a bright red pistol appeared in Raynor’s hand.

Raynor then retrieved ten Origin Bullets.

He walked over to Usopp and held out the Origin Pistol.

A confused look flashed across Usopp’s eyes.

”Is this for me?”

Usopp had been thinking about the Origin Pistol every day. He had nearly driven himself crazy wanting one.

And now Raynor was giving him one of his own. Usopp could hardly believe it. He immediately hugged Raynor’s leg and almost burst into tears.

”You’re the best, Raynor! You’re my best friend!”

As he spoke, Usopp snatched the Origin Pistol and the ten Origin Bullets from Raynor’s hand.

He was about to load a bullet and try firing it, but Raynor stopped him.

”Don’t mess around. If you don’t use this properly, it could kill you too.”

Hearing this, Usopp immediately shuddered. He then followed Raynor’s instructions.

He put away the bullets and the Origin Pistol, deciding never to take them out unless absolutely necessary.

Soon, the Merry reached the shore.

Just then, Nami spoke up.

”Hey, don’t even think about slacking off! Come help me carry the gold!”

The Straw Hats were all at a loss.

Sanji lit a cigarette and took a deep drag.

”Miss Nami, why don’t we carry some of it over this time? There’s so much gold that even if everyone helped, we couldn’t carry it all.”

As soon as he finished speaking, Zoro opened his eyes and said sleepily:

”Nami, give me some money. I need to buy swords!”

Hearing this, Nami shouted angrily:

”If you want money, then get over here and carry the gold!”

Zoro immediately snapped back angrily:

”Come on, there’s no way we can carry all this gold inside. Be realistic!”

Nami could only reply helplessly:

”That’s why I need all of you to help!”

As she spoke, she began worrying. The large bags they had used to carry the gold had been destroyed by the giant Sea King.

For the moment, they had no way to move all the gold.

Just then, Raynor’s voice came from behind them.

”I’ll go with you. Leave the gold to me.”

Nami’s eyes lit up when she heard this. She turned around and gave him a bright smile.

”I knew I could count on you, Raynor.”

After saying this, Nami’s bright smile slowly faded, replaced by a sly expression.

”Hey, Raynor, if I remember correctly, you’re a Copy-Copy Fruit user...”

...

On a deserted island.

Blackbeard clutched his lower back. His face was bruised and swollen as he let out a miserable groan.

Beside him, Burgess’s face was swollen until he looked like a fat man. He gritted his teeth and said angrily:

”This is outrageous! Hey, Captain, are you really going to let this go? Let’s bring all our men back and wipe them out!”
