The three of them laughed for a while, then Hong Weiguo frowned and said, “Oh right, cliques are already starting to form in the Resource Chamber of Commerce, what plans do the two of you have about this?”

“Resource Chamber of Commerce?” Upon mention of this, Mu Tie frowned and said, “I don’t have any specific opinions, but now that we’ve already offended Sun Yuanzhou openly, with his influence as one of the five magnates, he’ll definitely enlist others to go against us, and coupled with Toyoda Conglomerate definitely backing him up and supporting him, the situation will become very complicated. Weiguo, think about it, everything your Dali does becomes popular. We are friends here, so there isn’t much problem, but other people would be considered enemies, so naturally, we have to take precautions.”

“Yes.” Liu Yihui nodded as well. “If I’m the enemy, I’ll definitely be scared as well. Now there’s nothing much, but in the future, who knows what else Dali will start up. So, by then, I reckon that there will be at least an 80% chance that they will form an alliance. Moreover, with Toyoda Conglomerate instigating in the dark, and the Qian Family, who has always had close relations with Toyoda, secretly drawing people to their side, we might not have it easy during the meeting.”

“Yes.” Hong Weiguo sighed. “Dream Dota is already very popular, and it has great prospects. It’s impossible that no one is jealous among those group of fellows, and by then, it’ll indeed be difficult to handle if they secretly sabotage us or something.”

“Yes.” Mu Tie thought for a while, then said, “Weiguo, if they really form an alliance, should we have some plans ready?”

“Indeed, we need to start to make our moves too.” Hong Weiguo slowly shook his head. “Though they’re a motley crew, their strength when in an alliance is not to be underestimated.”

“Yes, then let’s choose motionlessness to subdue their moves!” Mu Tie slapped his thigh. “I don’t believe that they’re so monolithic!”

“But speaking of which, we indeed need to take precautions regarding this matter.” Hong Weiguo didn’t dare to let his guard down, as he touched his chin and said, “Previously I’ve thought of it before too, and I’m just scared that they’d do something dirty. So currently, my plan is to pay more attention to their movements and remain motionless to subdue them.”

“Pay more attention to Dali’s safety.” Mu Tie thought for a while and said, “I’m afraid someone will try to harm him, especially Toyoda Conglomerate’s side. It won’t go wrong to be more careful.”

“Yes, understood.”

…

After two days of indiscriminate attacks, Dream Dota League’s popularity skyrocketed once again. But now it was very obvious that just 40 servers were already insufficient. The lowest number of users queuing at the servers was already more than 15,000…

Of course, these were the crazier fans, and they all hoped to be able to enter the game to experience it.

The other players, on the other hand, went to the Tieba forum or the Play Together forum to browse through experience posts, which included the explanations by many extremely brilliant and high-end professional players about the topography, how to adjust to the operating system, how to better make arrangements for the heroes’ battle tactics, and so on.

But this wasn’t a solution. Many players couldn’t enter the game for two days and were already losing their patience.

On Tieba forum—

“Why aren’t more servers open, there are more than 10,000 people queuing up every day, how can people play it?”

“Yes, yes, 40 servers are too little, right? Doesn’t it have to increase by at least two times? Young Master is not someone who can’t fork money out for this, this time why isn’t he doing anything!”

“I have a feeling that Young Master definitely wants to give us a surprise! Think about it, previously, which time has Young Master disappointed us?”

On Weibo—

Chu Zhongqin: “I’m really sorry, my dear fans, I very much want to enter the game and play with everyone. Unfortunately, it’s too popular, and there are already close to 20,000 users queuing at the servers. I’ve queued up for two days yet haven’t been able to enter! So I hope that all my dear fans would not become anxious, Young Master will definitely make everyone satisfied. I’m certain! If Young Master still doesn’t react to this within three days’ time, I’ll give a free concert tour throughout the nation, with ‘Never Left’ as my main song!”

A few fans replied, “Even Brother Chu didn’t manage to enter. I didn’t manage to enter too, but upon hearing what Brother Chu said, I’m assured—Do you think I should hope for Young Master to see it or not, I love ‘Never Left’ very much!” “Yes yes, upon seeing that Brother Chu said this, I don’t know what I should hope for!”

Jiang Ruoyu: “Dear friends. because of the problem with the servers, I haven’t been able to enter the game yet. Looks like the technology can’t keep up with it, I hope that those friends who are good at playing the game will guide me along. My name in the game is Jiang Ruoyu!”

On the various web portals—

“This time, Young Master is very low-profile, but I just feel that it’s the calmness before the storm. Let’s wait and see what measures Young Master will take!”—Easy Net.

“I believe that with Young Master’s big spending, he’ll definitely not disappoint everyone. By then, he’ll definitely give everyone a surprise.”—Soulang.

…

Tianhai City, in an ordinary apartment.

“What is Hong Dali up to?” Sun Yuanzhou stared at the computer screen in front of him and perplexedly said, “He’s not opening more servers and grabbing such a good opportunity? What is he waiting for? Is he scared that we’ll form an alliance and plans to give in?”

“No.” Shiroishi Kazuma shook his head and slowly said, “Hong Dali is not a fool. I have a feeling that he’s definitely doing something. But what is he planning to do? I don’t have any ideas on that.”

“Even you are unable to guess it?” Sun Yuanzhou was shocked. “Mr. Shiroishi, you’ve always prided yourself as leaving no loopholes in your schemes, that’s why I trust you so much! Don’t tell me that you don’t have any solutions!”

“Solutions?” Shiroishi Kazuma smiled bitterly. “What solutions would I have? This prodigal Hong Dali never acts in a predictable manner!”

Speaking up to this point, suddenly, Qian Youjin dashed inside. Once he entered the house, he shouted, “Mr. Shi, bad… bad news!”

“What? Has Hong Dali done something again?” Upon hearing Qian Youjin’s words, Shiroishi Kazuma, who always acted calm, got anxious. “What did he do this time? Added a few servers? 10? 20?”

“N… No!” Qian Youjin was on the verge of crying, and his facial expression was extremely conflicted, probably even a constipated expression couldn’t be like his. “Dream Dota League official website says… says… says it’s going to open a server tomorrow!”

“Just one?!” Sun Yuanzhou opened his eyes wide. “There are so many people queuing up, and you’re saying that Hong Dali is going to open only one server?!”

“What’s the situation?” Though Shiroishi Kazuma was already past 50, now his speed was even faster than an athlete as he instantly opened the Dream Dota League official website. With just one look, he became completely stunned—

“To all dear players.”

Content: During the recent few days, the Dream Dota League official team has felt everyone’s passionate sincerity. We’d initially planned to open 20 more servers to relieve the pressure of the queue. But Young Master thinks that since everyone is so passionate, he naturally has to repay everyone. Thus, he specially decided that at 2:00 PM tomorrow, August 11, he’ll open one more server.

Perhaps everyone is confused about why we’re only opening one server.

The reason is that this server is the current most expensive, best and fastest server in the world!

Just the manufacturing price of this server cost 200 million yuan!

Yes, dear players, you haven’t seen it wrong, just this one server cost 200 million yuan to manufacture it! This server can hold all the players in the world in it, which means that, in the future, there won’t be any gaming regions, there will be only one server in the entire world.

So, Dream Dota League will start to undergo maintenance starting from 6:00 PM today. The estimated maintenance period is 14 hours. When it opens again at 2:00 PM tomorrow, all the players around the world who love Dream Dota League will be able to enter Dream Dota League very easily.

…

After reading this notice, Shiroishi Kazuma sat back on the sofa, with no energy left.

This time, Hong Dali had slapped him again, a ferocious slap! He’d directly slapped all of Shiroishi Kazuma’s plots to death!

Shiroishi Kazuma had previously used so many tactics, opening the servers little by little, and there were always players queuing up, which created an appearance of the explosively full servers, using this to ignite the curiosity of other players. And he’d indeed succeeded.

But he didn’t expect that Hong Dali would play more ruthlessly than him!

After igniting the passion of the players to the peak, all the players throughout the world would be extremely curious! They would want to enter the game and see whether it was really so fun. They would also want to try out this legendary server which cost 200 million yuan, to see what kind of monster it was!

200 million! 200 million! One server cost 200 million!

What’s so special about being a prodigal? Hong Dali was a superprodigal! A super one, unmatched!

“This prodigal…” Shiroishi Kazuma listlessly collapsed on the sofa without a single bit of energy left. Because, towards Hong Dali, he totally didn’t know what to do.

If he was full of flaws, that would be akin to him not having any flaws.

After thinking for a while more, Shiroishi Kazuma suddenly sat up and anxiously said, “Young Master Qian, quickly see, how many online users there are in Spiritual Sword now?”

“OK!” Qian Youjin hurriedly ran out, and after a short while, he ran back. “1.4 million users online. Currently, the number of online users are on the rise again!”

“We’re done for…” Shiroishi Kazuma helplessly sighed. “The last madness has already been unleashed…”

“This… it’s not so serious, right?!” Qian Youjin was shocked. “Mr. Shi, our number of online users is rising again!”

“Serious, very serious!” Shiroishi Kazuma naturally could not sit still. He ferociously turned his head and anxiously said, “Young Master Qian, go and inform the technical department to block all the related words and posts about Dream Dota League from the server right away. Quickly! Or else it will be too late!”

“Ah? Understood!” Qian Youjin ran frantically out of the room.

“Mr. Shiroishi, isn’t it good that the users are increasing again?” Sun Yuanzhou felt strange and asked.

“The users that are increasing our numbers are there to pull our players to Dream Dota’s side!” Shiroishi Kazuma smiled bitterly, then he slowly said, “After all, many players who like to play games don’t really read the news…”
