Tianjing City Supreme People’s Court.

Tang Ruisi stood at the position of the plaintiff. Looking at his old opponent at the accused seat, he let out a deep sigh. “Zhang Weipeng, we were classmates before. Why did you have to do this…”

Zhang Weipeng, Head of Forest Medical Enterprise, Tang Ruisi’s high school classmate. Back then, they had turned against each other and became enemies because of Tang Ruisi’s wife, Yuan Jieya. It might sound dramatic, but normally, the more dramatic the situation, the easier was it to happen—thus, the two competed against each other for a full twenty years.

“Classmate?” Forest Medical Enterprise’s Head Zhang Weipeng sneered and said, “What use is there to speak of all this rubbish now? Tang Ruisi, you need evidence to sue someone. You’ve sued me for using an industrial spy, but you can’t produce any evidence. By then, you can look forward to paying compensations!”

About his act of hiring an industrial spy, Zhang Weipeng was still relatively unworried about it. Those two people had both undergone professional spy training, and they were hired by him at a very high fee—5 million, it wasn’t a small sum!

“Zhang Weipeng,” Tang Ruisi smiled bitterly and shook his head. “Since I’ve dared to sue you, of course, I have evidence. It’s just that I took into consideration that we were classmates, after all. I don’t want to take this to the extreme. As long as you take back what you’ve declared at the press conference, you don’t even need to apologize and I’ll revoke my charge against you and let you go. How’s that?”

Tang Ruisi was kind and magnanimous. He eventually still considered their past bond as classmates. Otherwise, why would he waste his breath with him? Hong Dali had reproduced more than a hundred copies of the video of how the spy had stolen the information, and he’d even photocopied more than a hundred copies of the research data. Any random piece of evidence he took out was enough to completely destroy Zhang Weipeng’s reputation.

“Do you think I’d be frightened by you?” Zhang Weipeng disdainfully said, “Don’t talk so much rubbish, just produce the evidence if you have them. What use is there to talk so much?”

“Sigh…” Tang Ruisi helplessly sighed, and then turned towards the judge on the platform and slowly said, “Your Honor, the attempts of reconciliation have failed. Everything… will go according to the normal procedures.”

“If that’s the case…” Upon hearing Tang Ruisi’s words, the judge fiercely pounded his gavel. “Bring in the witnesses and evidence.”

Very quickly, Zhang Weipeng realized that Tang Ruisi had really not deceived him.

First, a video clip stored in a USB driver was brought over. It depicted the looks of the spy, the process of the theft of the confidential information, and even how the laptop’s password had been decrypted. The most amazing thing was that the camera was really stable. Especially the last moment where that spy had taken the tranquilizer gun out and fired a shot…

The judge was stunned. He asked curiously, “Err, Mr. Tang. I’m very curious, what was used to film this video? The spy had even aimed at the camera and fired a shot?”

“Oh. This.” Upon hearing this, Tang Ruisi wanted to laugh. “My daughter’s friend made a small surveillance device.”

“Mr. Tang. You know that this is not what I’m asking about.” The judge smiled. “What I’m asking is, the position of this device was at… I saw that there was a cage in the video.”

“My daughter’s friend tied the device to the head of a chicken…” Tang Ruisi didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. “He could actually even think of that. The video effects are really not bad…”

Zhang Weipeng was completely despondent—who would think that a chicken would be the mastermind that had caused him to go down?

Damn you, chicken!

Very soon, the two video clips had finished playing. Zhang Weipeng was just about to say that witnesses were required as well when the witnesses entered…

They were two young men who appeared extremely shabby. They were around 30-years-old and were the ex-employees of Tang Ruisi’s company. Once they saw Tang Ruisi, both of them lowered their heads, and it was unknown whether it was because they were embarrassed or because they were too ashamed to be seen by others—the possibility that they were too ashamed to be seen by others was higher. Looking at their appearances, their clothes were torn and tattered here and there, like beggars…

“This…” The judge took a closer look at their appearances. “They are indeed the two persons in the video, but what is it with them…”

“They were bitten by dogs.” Tang Ruisi chuckled. “My daughter’s friend loves to raise dogs. They have apparently been well taken care of by more than ten Tibetan Mastiffs…”

As expected, once the Tibetan Mastiffs were mentioned, the two industrial spies trembled violently. They couldn’t bring themselves to remember the past!

Now that both witnesses and physical evidence were presented, there was concrete evidence now. Even if Zhang Weipeng had ten mouths, he wouldn’t be able to argue for himself anymore.

“Since there’s both witnesses and physical evidence, then…” The judge firmly pounded his gavel. “I hereby declare that Forest Medical Enterprise’s director, Zhang Weipeng, has been found guilty!”

…

At 12:00 PM on the same day, an explosive piece of news appeared on the front page headlines of all medical and healthcare papers and magazines. The title was—

“Forest Medical Enterprise uses an industrial spy to steal confidential research information from another company within the same industry, a shameful behavior, I don’t believe in love anymore…”

Once this piece of news was released, all medical companies in Heavenly State were shocked. Nobody could imagine that the extremely influential Forest Medical Enterprise would resort to such dirty tricks. Such an act had always been deeply resented between the various business companies. It was important to know that this world was relatively firm and strict in the fight against piracy. Moreover, sending industrial spies to steal confidential information to make it as his own?

At this point, the stock price of Forest Medical Enterprise had tumbled within two hours. The company had been forced to close down.

…

Chenhui Building, ninth floor.

Tang Muxin carried Little Meow in her arms as she sat beside Hong Dali, beaming with delight. “Dali, the matter in our family has finally come to an end. Yesterday, I went home to talk to my dad. He has agreed to start up the research on mechanical limbs. However, he can’t be certain about how long exactly it will take to develop it.”

“Hehe, it’s good that it can be researched on.” Hong Dali stroked Little Meow’s head and said, “Anyway, there’s no rush for our Little Meow. It’s still too young now. Even if it has been developed, it can’t go for surgery right away. We still need to wait for at least a few months more. Don’t be too anxious.”

“En.” Tang Muxin nodded. “Then, let’s wait first. Oh, right. Dali, Sister Chuyin’s side has just informed that they have almost completed the Virtual Reality Projection. I can go and help out now!” After she’d said this, her rosy little face was full of anticipation, as if she would immediately charge to the research laboratory on the fourth floor once Hong Dali gave his consent.

“Oh?” Hong Dali exclaimed in surprised. “It’s completed so fast?”

“This…” Tang Muxin tapped her lips with her finger. “It looks like it’s just the preliminary stage that has been completed. The programming and coding are still in process for the voice portion. As for the Holographic Projection Technology, currently, it seems like only the Virtual Nodes Projection Suit can be worn to be modeled by the computer… Aiya, I can’t explain it clearly. Forget it, I’ll go first.”

“Go, then. I’ll read novels for a while.” Hong Dali instantly agreed.

Little lass Tang had a keen interest in the filming of movies. If he didn’t allow her to go, she’d probably pester him to death.

Upon hearing that Hong Dali had agreed, Tang Muxin excitedly stood up and rushed out. Hong Dali shook his head in low spirits. “Isn’t it only doing experiments, why is she so excited to just be a guinea pig… Forget it, I’ll take a look first whether the book has been updated.”

Upon taking out that perfect phone that had been assembled through the machine breakdown, assembly, and transformation skill, Hong Dali excitedly opened the webpage and logged in. After staring at it for a while, his eyes became a little dry. Hong Dali rubbed his eyes and mumbled to himself, “I don’t know why I just feel a little uncomfortable looking at it like that. It’s tiring to the eyes…”

As a superprodigal, Hong Dali was not anxious about how to work hard, but it was definitely most urgent to think of how to improve his quality of living.

Hong Dali waved his hand without hesitation. “Xiaoyi!”

“Young Master, what’s the matter?” The Number One lackey, Xiaoyi, came over. “Is there anything you need me to do?”

“En, I was thinking of making a reading app.” Hong Dali touched his chin and grinned. “Aren’t Turkey Bookstore and our Zhong Dian combined together now? Let’s make a reading app and then install it in the smartphones. By then, once the icon is clicked, a huge e-library will appear. Then, you can search for any books that you want to!”

“Reading app?” Once Ling Xiaoyi heard what Hong Dali said, she knew that this Young Master was preparing to splurge on advertising and commercials again. She instantly asked, “Young Master, can you explain it in more detail, then it will be easier for me to see the direction of this development.”

“Oh, en, it’s…” Hong Dali thought for a while and said, “Through the use of the app, we can compile a variety of resources for people to read through. The convenient functions of reading, interacting, bookmarks, bookshelves and so on will be integrated into the books, magazines, and comics as a comprehensive reading app. The software needs to adjust to the way of reading from smartphones, so it will be best if it won’t tire the eyes from reading!”

“Oh…” Ling Xiaoyi didn’t have much of an idea as to the programming and manufacturing of these things, but it didn’t affect the execution of her job. “Then, I’ll seek advice from Master’s side and see what suggestions they offer.”

“Alright.” Hong Dali nodded in approval. “Remember to spend more money on advertising…”

“I understand.” Ling Xiaoyi smiled and nodded, and then instantly left.

After Ling Xiaoyi had left the small conference room where Hong Dali was sleeping in, a figure in red came forward. She was the most outstanding genius in the current age of the Hong Family clan, Mu Yuxi, Miss Mu. Mu Yuxi approached Ling Xiaoyi and whispered, “Xiaoyi, has Dali come up with good ideas again?”

“En, it can be said so.” In the face of Mu Yuxi who had come to learn how to squander, Ling Xiaoyi tried very hard not to laugh. “I have to report to Master, Miss Mu. You can come along too, perhaps you’ll be able to learn something.”

“O… OK.” Mu Yuxi blushed. She was very embarrassed.

Other people ventured out to further their studies, yet she ran over here to learn how to squander. Every time she thought of this, Mu Yuxi could not really stand it.

What a pitiful life!

However, she couldn’t blame others even if she led a pitiful life. Just bear with it!

Soon, the two of them reached another small conference room not too far away. Ling Xiaoyi took her laptop out and sent a video conference request to Hong Weiguo and the Old Elder of the Hong Family, Hong Tu.

In a short while, the video call got through, and Hong Weiguo’s and Hong Tu’s faces appeared in the screen. Hong Tu coughed dryly for a few times before he grinned and asked, “Xiaoyi, are we having this video conference because Dali has come up with some new idea?” As he spoke, he looked at Mu Yuxi, who was sitting beside Ling Xiaoyi. “Yuxi, have you gotten used to being over there?”

Upon hearing this, Mu Yuxi had a strong urge to crawl and hide under the table—the number one genius of the family had come to learn how to squander, do you think I would become used to it?
