“You are thinking…” Upon hearing his words, Tang Muxin was instantly excited. “Give Dali a surprise? Get an award during the Flange International Films Festival!?”

As they were talking, Hong Dali’s head poked out from the car window. “Get on the car and let’s go home. What are you guys talking about?”

“Dali, you go first.” Tang Muxin threw him a coquettish look. “We are discussing some… small matters, ah, something to do with rocks!”

“She even knows how to throw coquettish looks now…” Hong Dali mumbled. “Then, I shall read novels for a while. Hurry up… Little Meow, come, let Brother hug you for a while!”

“I know!” After Hong Dali wind up the window, Tang Muxin asked, “Director Lao, what are you planning on doing?”

Lao Deming looked at Li Nianwei. “The most popular person in the Nation right now is the Goddess Li Nianwei, the second is Tai Yajing. Miss Nianwei is going to be busy filming ‘The Holy Warriors of the Goddess,’ but Miss Tai Yajing have the time! I’m thinking… since we are going to make a big film this time, why don’t we have an all-celebrity cast. We can ally with the other big filming companies—if we work together with them, it should be easier than doing it by ourselves!”

As the saying goes, strength comes in numbers, Lao Deming was really going all-out this time—since he didn’t need to be the one spending the money anyway.

“Yup, this time, we shall teach Hollywood a lesson!” Tang Muxin fiercely said, “They actually tried to scheme on us, we can’t take this lying down! Big Turtle was rescued by our Dali! Scheming on Big Turtle is equal to scheming on Dali, which is equal to scheming on me… And also Sister Nianwei!”

This little lass was becoming less and less mindful of her status of being Hong Dali’s fiancée…

“Hehe, that’s right.” Li Nianwei stood at one side, smiled and said, “Normally, the Young Master either doesn’t do anything, or he does it to his best ability. This time, it can be considered the entire Heavenly State’s filming industry coming together to stand against Hollywood. We mustn’t embarrass ourselves. When we have time, let’s all go and find those influential and powerful people and discuss with them on what to do. At least, we have to show our moral to the public.”

“Yup, Miss Nianwei is right!” Lao Deming softly said, “I will start contacting them once I’m back. Then, I will open a press conference. This time, we shall all ally ourselves together and stand against the enemy!”

“OK, no problem, we will support you too!” Tang Muxin instantly decided.

“OK, we shall head back first.” Li Nianwei smiled and said, “Don’t let the Young Master become impatient.”

“OK!”

…

Tianjing City, Turkey headquarters.

Liu Yihui sat on a sling chair in front of a French casement. He was in quite a good mood as he looked at the night view of the city with neon lights.

These few days, the performance of his company was constantly on the rise, especially the Chess Cards game. Ever since his son Liu Mingxin set the strategy to fully expand on the Chess Cards game, its performance practically skyrocketed. In just a short amount of time, the number of players online at the same time exceed the 3 million benchmark. Although they hadn’t started profiting yet, it was quite clear that once they started adding in items or paying games, they would be earning at least a million or so a day.

“Looks like Mingxin’s strategy is a good one.” Liu Yihui took in a deep breath. “We avoided fighting against Hong Dali, hehe. That gaming company was attacked by the hackers for an entire 36 hours. When they finally did something about it, my Turkey Chess Cards already had a million or so players.

“I’m really convinced now. This child, Mingxin. His eyes are indeed sharp!”

Now, even with Liu Yihui’s conceit, he also had to be impressed with his son. This eldest son that he had always had high-regards for did indeed have his way of doing things and succeeded in it.

“Director Liu, bad news!” Just as Liu Yihui was thinking about this, his assistant ran in helter-skelter. Once he saw Liu Yihui, he said, “Director Liu, bad news! The Old Master, the Old Master fainted today! He was sent to the hospital for a check and the Doctor said… said…”

“What did the Doctor say!?” Liu Yihui rushed forward and grabbed the assistant by the collar. “How is my Dad now!? Say it! Quickly say it!”

The assistant had never seen the grand Director Liu so anxious before. He gulped down a mouthful of saliva and said, “The Doctor said that the Old Master has… has stomach cancer…”

Stomach cancer! The most terrifying type of disease!

“My… My Dad, he… he actually…” Tears immediately flowed down his face. After a short moment of silence, he suddenly shouted as if his life depended on it, “Where is my Dad now! Where is he!”

“His is in… in the University of Medicine’s affiliated hospital…” The assistant said with difficulty. “Director Liu, please, please don’t be so agitated… This hospital is already the best hospital in Tianjing City…”

The University of Medicine’s affiliated hospital, full name Tianjing University of Medicine’s affiliated hospital, was the best hospital not only in Tianjing but also in the entire Nation. If they didn’t have a solution there, then, the person basically was incurable.

“Don’t be agitated, hehe, don’t be agitated…” Liu Yihui’s entire body started to tremble. He furiously roared, “How can I not be agitated!? That’s my Dad, my Father! The Father who let me sit on his shoulders to watch performances when I was young! How can I not be agitated!”

“Prepare the car! Prepare the car!” Liu Yihui rushed out as he said so. “I’m going over now! Immediately!”

…

Tianjing University of Medicine’s affiliated hospital, floor 36, ICU.

Liu Yihui softly pushed open the door, maintaining the most gentle smile he could on his face. He looked at the 60 plus year-old man on the bed and gently said, “Dad, I’m here to see you. How are you feeling now?”

“Hehe, it’s Yihui? Sit down.” The old man’s name was Liu Zhongyuan, Liu Yihui’s father.

The Liu Family was also one of the big families in Tianjing City and had quite a lot of branches. Liu Zhongyuan’s branch could be considered to be one of the core branches, but speaking of which, his condition was quite similar to that of Hong Weiguo—he had only one son, which was Liu Yihui.

“Dad, are you alright now?” Liu Yihui obediently sat down, smiled and said, “Are you feeling better?”

“I’m fine, what could be wrong with me?” Liu Zhongyuan lay on the bed and shook his head without much concern. “I’m old now, my body isn’t what it used to it. I’m fine, don’t be worried.”

“Dad, you, don’t think too much about it!” Liu Yihui’s eyes were getting red. “You will definitely recover! Definitely!”

“Hehe, silly child.” Liu Zhongyuan slowly said, “Humans all go through the process of birth, mature, illness, and death. I’m already 66 this year, I have lived my fair share of life in this world. What is there to think more or less about?”

“That’s right, you are already 66, hehe.” Liu Yihui smiled with difficulty. “A few months later, it will be the 25th of August. This year, I was still planning to host a 66-year-old celebration for you. You must recover by that time. This way, you will still be able to have some fun and laughter then.”

“Haha, little rascal, you still remember my birthday?” Liu Zhongyuan smiled indifferently. “I’m fine, just old. Don’t worry, I’m not that fragile. I can at least still hang on for another few months, hehe.” Saying so, Liu Zhongyuan looked at Liu Yihui, smiled and said, “Instead, you are the one who should work hard. Sigh, actually, speaking of which, you have already done quite well. Mingxin and Mingcheng are both sensible children too, their brains are quite good. My time living in this lifetime can be considered to be quite worthy.”

“Look at what you are saying.” Liu Yihui turned around and secretly wiped his tears. “You can still live for tens of years, don’t talk nonsense now. Yup, oh right, Dad, wait for me a bit, I’m going to make a call and ask Mingxin and Mingcheng to come and visit you!”

Once he finished saying this, before waiting for a reply, Liu Yihui directly walked out, took out his smartphone and dialed over. The name of the number was written on it was—Liu Mingxin.

…

Tianjing City, North Fifth Loop, in an ordinary apartment.

By right, this kind of place should belong to a commoner. But today, a blue streamlined sports car was parked here!

If we looked at the car plate number, the owner of this car was actually Liu Yihui’s proudest son, Liu Mingxin!

Being a person blessed by Heaven, it was really hard for others to believe that Liu Mingxin would actually appear here.

But now, he was really here. He was in the apartment teaching a few children how to draw simple figures—

“OK, we will be drawing a rabbit today. Everyone, hold your pen properly—”

“Yes, that’s right. Start with drawing an oval, this is the rabbit’s head. Then, draw a big eye and two long ears…”

Very quickly, a simple rabbit was drawn. Below, a small girl aged about 7 or 8 smiled and asked, “Brother Liu, are you busy today? Can we not practice drawing today? We haven’t seen you in a few days, can you tell us stories!”

The other five to six children all shouted, “That’s right, that’s right. Brother Liu, please tell us stories!”

“Just stories? OK.” Liu Mingxin turned around at looked at the only young girl in the room who was around 22 or 23 years old. He smiled and said, “Xiao Ming, go and cook some food. The children will probably be hungry at night. They have to eat more now since they are at the growing stage. Later, I will eat a bit with everyone too.”

“OK, Young Master.” The girl called Xiao Ming smiled and went into the kitchen to cook dinner.

“Then, what do all of you want to ask?” After the girl left, Liu Mingxin smiled and asked, “As long as it’s something you all want to know, I can tell it to you.”

“Brother Liu.” The 7 or 8 years old small girl bounced up and down and asked, “Tell us the story of Young Master Dali again! His luck is really too good, hehe. Even Brother Liu can’t win against him!”

“Haha, you want to hear about Young Master Dali? OK! Then, let’s talk about his story!” Liu Mingxin laughed loudly and said, “This kid, he normally just squanders and go around spending money. He spends money everywhere he goes. If it was someone else, they would definitely spend their money very quickly. Yet, guess what? This kid’s money actually increased more as he spent more. Even I can’t earn money as fast as him!”

“Brother Liu.” A small boy below asked, “Then, if Brother Liu competes with him, will you lose?”

“Yup, I’m willing to accept my defeat.” Liu Mingxin smiled and said, “Previously, I was still planning to compete with him properly. However, it was just like a mouse trying to pull a turtle—it has nowhere to lay its hands on to be able to start pulling. He will do things in whatever he sees. Today he may be playing with films, tomorrow he may go to play games online. Then, the next day, he may be reading novels somewhere. He will just try something and then go on to try another thing. There’s nothing I can do about it, he runs away faster than a rabbit!”
