After the Breakup, He Obtained the Krypton Gold Return Shenhao System

229: Chapter 229 Making a Move as Soon as He Came of AgeAlthough in front of outsiders, Zhao Xiaoshuai had supported his Sister-in-law.

But once they had dealt with the homeroom teacher and used the excuse of having a private talk, Zhao Xiaoshuai clicked the reception room door locked.

”Come here.”

The smile on Chu Xinyi’s face changed instantly, and she secretly thought, ’Oh no.’ ”You aren’t allowed to spank me, or I’ll scream!”

”Hey, if you didn’t do anything wrong, how did you know I was going to spank you? You must have a guilty conscience!”

Chu Xinyi had a look of having been tricked and was about to bolt, but after scanning the room and realizing there was nowhere to run, she was stunned for a moment before her brother-in-law pressed her onto a chair.

The loose school uniform hid the Sister-in-law’s waist and hips, which were second to none, but as he spanked her, it still stirred up clear ripples.

”Smack!”

”Ouch!”

”I bought you that phone, not so you could play with it in class!”

”Smack!”

”You even learned how to hide your phone behind a wall of books? That’s an old trick I used to play; I told it to you as an anecdote once, but I didn’t expect you to be so quick to learn bad habits instead of good ones!”

”I was wrong, brother-in-law, I really know I was wrong!”

”Smack!”

”I don’t think you know you were wrong. According to your homeroom teacher, you’re a repeat offender. Tell me, how long have you been sneaking around playing with your phone in class?”

”It was the first time, it really was the first time!”

”Smack!”

Actually, he was only slightly angry during the first smack, and it wasn’t because the Sister-in-law was slacking off. After all, as he had said himself, he respected the Sister-in-law’s individuality, self-esteem, and freedom, and wouldn’t interfere too much in these matters.

But because of her, he had been worried the whole way here, had gone to great lengths to make preparations, and he didn’t even know how to explain it to others afterward.

Thinking of this made him feel a mix of annoyance and embarrassment, so he wanted to spank the Sister-in-law to vent his frustration.

But after hitting her once, he became a bit addicted to that springy crescent shape, and unconsciously, he delivered a second, third smack...

Unlike when he hit Ling Rui, he didn’t really use force; it felt more like a game than a punishment.

And the Sister-in-law obediently cooperated, constantly crying out and begging for mercy, not letting the sound get too loud to be heard outside, but keeping it clear enough for her brother-in-law to hear, satisfying him and letting him vent his anger.

After hitting her for a while, the Sister-in-law’s acting became increasingly perfunctory, showing no signs of repentance, while Zhao Xiaoshuai almost triggered a certain reaction in himself from the spanking.

He had to stop in time. ”Get up.”

The Sister-in-law got up, rubbed her bottom, gave a silly grin, and habitually sat on her brother-in-law’s lap.

This was a habit formed inadvertently when she was a child.

Every time she did something wrong and was spanked, the Sister-in-law would run over pitifully to beg for forgiveness. If her brother-in-law still kept a cold face, she would cling to him by sitting on his lap and acting cute.

This method worked every single time and was known as the 3-minute anger-relief cure.

However, ever since she entered high school and grew up a bit, Zhao Xiaoshuai had intentionally kept his distance to help her properly understand the differences between men and women, so this level of contact had become rare.

Today, Zhao Xiaoshuai was awkwardly distracted by the reaction he had developed, while Chu Xinyi had sat down naturally out of habit.

It was just that when she was a child, sitting on one leg was enough, but now she had to sit across both.

”Brother-in-law, it really was the first time, I won’t dare to do it again.”

With a wiggle and a rub, his anger naturally dissipated.

”Alright, you’re an adult now. You have the right to do what you want and live the way you want to live.”

”I can only provide you with some experience and advice; ultimately, the power to choose in the end still lies in your own hands.”

Seeing that her brother-in-law was no longer angry, the Sister-in-law immediately pushed her luck, ”Then can I openly play with my phone in class from now on?”

”Nonsense! You aren’t the only one in class; you have to consider the impact of your behavior on others...”

Blah blah blah, Zhao Xiaoshuai started his lecture mode as usual, but Chu Xinyi had said it on purpose, knowing full well it would trigger this reaction from her brother-in-law.

She just liked hearing him talk for a while longer, even if it was a lecture.

Especially lately.

This was also why she had suddenly lost focus during class and unconsciously started searching online for any trace of her brother-in-law.

After lecturing for a while, Zhao Xiaoshuai realized that their current position was a bit too intimate.

He could smell that very unique, faint fragrance, making his whole body restless.

He could clearly feel the firm softness on his thighs, and her movements made his body temperature rise.

Her hair occasionally brushed against his cheek, tickling him, and his heart felt the same way.

”You’re so heavy, you’ve made my legs numb.”

”Hmph!”

The Sister-in-law hopped up and walked towards the door.

”You should still have one more class, right? Hurry back. Call me if anything comes up.”

The Sister-in-law, who had walked to the door, suddenly stopped. ”Brother-in-law, what do you think? If I’ve already finished learning all the high school material, can I stop going to class?”

”If you don’t go to class, what are you going to do? Sleep in every day?”

”I want to... never mind, I’m going back to class.”

A bewildered Zhao Xiaoshuai shook his head as he watched the Sister-in-law, who had suddenly hurried away again; this girl’s quirky ideas were becoming more and more frequent.

However, he didn’t leave immediately. Instead, he thought about his own mental journey along the way and stared blankly into space.

After a long while, he let out a deep sigh.

After today’s events, he suddenly realized something that he had long ignored, perhaps intentionally, or perhaps just because he had gotten used to it and hadn’t noticed.

He cared about his Sister-in-law very much, just as he cared about his own life.

The Sister-in-law’s position in his heart had always been very special, and he knew clearly what that feeling was.

It was a feeling he once thought he would only have for Chu Ziqing.

When did it start?

Was it when he started becoming more indulgent lately, and began indiscriminately seeking intimacy with all pretty women?

Was it when he still tried hard to maintain his relationship with the Sister-in-law after breaking up with Chu Ziqing?

Or was it even earlier, at the time when he thought his concern was just because he loved her sister?

He wasn’t sure.

But what he could be sure of was that just now, when there was even a one-in-a-billion chance she might have an accident, the urgency, anxiety, and fear in his heart were real.

That was something that, after accumulating and settling over time, remained rich and mellow.

That was more than just liking.

So, could he develop such feelings for her?

”Why not!”

”I’ve already broken up with her sister. We have no blood relationship, nor any ethical conflict. Although our ages are a bit different, it hasn’t reached the level of Brother Dong!”

”But...”

It was still that same old problem.

After all, she was a girl he had raised from childhood, having participated in nearly half of her life’s growth, reaching a level almost on par with Father Chu.

Naturally, it was mixed with feelings like those for a younger sister or even a daughter, which made everything a bit complicated.

”At least wait until she’s an adult. After all, Cheat Dad won’t let me unlock the gallery right now.”

”And I also want to confirm her thoughts first. Does she just see me as a family member, or...”

”Since things have come to this, let’s go get something to eat first.”
