After the Breakup, He Obtained the Krypton Gold Return Shenhao System

213: Chapter 213 Charity Ambassador Jia Yiling Goes OnlineSince she had been sleeping since yesterday afternoon, the Little Angel only slept for less than two hours during her early morning nap before waking up.

The three women who had been able to rest early last night were all up by now, and the whole family sat in the dining room having breakfast together.

”Your family is quite large.” Little Angel poked at her breakfast with a spoon.

Although she already knew that her boyfriend had more than one woman, this was the first time she had actually seen it.

”I bought such a large house precisely to accommodate more people. Later, when there are even more people, I’ll buy a villa or a courtyard house, and leave a small courtyard for each of you.”

”You’re still not satisfied? Can you even handle so many women? Indulging in lust every day is very bad for your health.”

”Whether I can handle it or not, you’ll find out later.”

Little Angel curled her lip; she clearly didn’t believe him, and she had even decided that she must make her boyfriend get regular health check-ups.

”I’m taking you to the Foundation’s headquarters today to get familiar with your future colleagues.”

”Ah? We’re going today? Then I have to go home and change into professional attire.”

”No need, just wear the outfit you bought yesterday.”

”Won’t that be a bit too informal?”

”It’s fine, just listen to me.”

Many charity organizations either have the celebrities themselves or hire well-known stars as spokespeople, but Zhao Xiaoshuai didn’t need to raise funds, so he didn’t have a need for that.

Little Angel just needed to do what she loved, and the Foundation’s reputation would surely get better and better under the guidance of her kind character.

Ultimately, he needed people who sincerely wanted to help, not just simple influence.

...

...

The headquarters of the Zhao Xiaoshuai Charity Foundation currently only rented one floor of office space; after all, there weren’t many people in the early stages, less than 50.

At his request, the department with the most employees was the on-site verification team, followed by the qualification audit team. The existence of these people ensured that the recipients’ situations could be verified immediately and guaranteed that funds were not misused.

Just like last time, after one phone call from Jia Yiling, staff arrived at the scene to verify within fifteen minutes, and the aid money was distributed that very day; it could be said that the efficiency was very high.

In stark contrast was the children’s charity fund that Guan Xiaosu had once sought help from; the audit alone took three to five days, and getting the aid money was a distant prospect.

However, because the Foundation was just established, there weren’t many aid applications yet, so most of the employees were quite idle.

”Brother Li, I heard our Foundation’s charity ambassador is coming to greet everyone today. Do you know any inside information? Which celebrity did they hire this time?”

”No. The company’s team hasn’t heard of any dealings with any celebrities recently. It might be the boss contacting someone himself.”

”The boss is really a good person, investing so much money into the Foundation without even advertising or anything.”

The employee surnamed Li was a member of the highly professional management team that Zhao Xiaoshuai had hired through Hao Zhigang’s connections.

They had served in the early establishment of many Foundations, possessed very professional experience, and had seen too much darkness.

”Xiao Yu, I advise you not to think of people so highly. Don’t look at how nice things sound now; once the influence grows, they all end up the same in the end.”

Their kind of team basically only needed to be responsible to their own leader. Their salaries were negotiated in advance, with no room for raises, but they also wouldn’t be subject to pay cuts or dismissal, so he dared to say such things.

”Ah? How can that be? They’ve clearly helped a lot of people in the past few days. I’ve seen more than ten with my own eyes!”

”How much money could those families possibly cost? Not even a million, I bet. So the vast majority of the funds haven’t been moved. Once the donation channels are opened later, there will basically be more and more, and there will be plenty of ways to cash out.”

”Brother Li, you’ve taught me a lot recently. I know you’re a good person too, but aren’t you thinking of people too negatively?”

”You’re just too naive; that’s how you think when you’ve just entered society. For example, don’t you have any idea about your own salary? It’s obvious that they want to squeeze the employees to ’generate electricity with love.’ If he were truly a charitable philanthropist, he wouldn’t be like this with employee benefits to begin with.”

”This... the money saved might be to help more people!”

”Sigh, they want someone with your mindset. Oh, it seems they’ve arrived. If I’m not mistaken, it’s definitely going to be a popular celebrity, and once the name is out there, they’ll start cashing in.”

At this moment, Zhao Xiaoshuai walked in holding Little Angel’s hand and went to the manager’s desk to exchange a few words.

The manager immediately stood up and clapped his hands to get everyone’s attention.

”Everyone, please put down your work for a moment and come to the first meeting room. Our Foundation’s founder, Mr. Zhao Xiaoshuai, would like to say a few words to the staff.”

The young man named Xiao Yu poked Brother Li. ”I didn’t expect the boss to be so young and quite handsome. But which celebrity is this? Although she’s quite pretty, I’ve never seen her before.”

”It looks like it might be the boss’s girlfriend, or maybe some eighteenth-tier celebrity?” Brother Li said, sounding uncertain.

Once inside the meeting room, Zhao Xiaoshuai didn’t waste any time: ”Some of you might still have work to do, so I won’t take up everyone’s time. I’ll just say a few words.”

Everyone thought, ’It’s over.’ Usually, when a leader says they’ll ’say a few words,’ it starts at half an hour, and some people did have work on hand.

However, Zhao Xiaoshuai was an honest person; he only gave a brief self-introduction and then invited today’s protagonist out.

”Today, I mainly brought our charity ambassador, Ms. Jia Yiling, to meet everyone. From now on, she will serve as the face of the Foundation, participating in various activities so that our Foundation can be known by more people in need.”

”Now, let Ms. Jia Yiling say a few words to everyone.”

It was the Little Angel’s first time speaking in front of so many people, and the self-introduction she had prepared beforehand was completely forgotten.

”I, I’m Jia Yiling. I studied nursing. I graduated less than a year ago. I used to be a nurse at the Provincial University hospital. My specialty is taking care of the elderly and playing with children. Um, also, uh, my hobby is volunteering at the welfare institute when I’m free.”

”That, that’s about it. I won’t disturb everyone’s work. Please give me your guidance in the future!”

Little Angel ran off the stage with a flushed face and quickly hid behind Zhao Xiaoshuai, clutching his sleeve and refusing to come out again.

”Haha, that’s it then. Today was mainly just to get everyone familiar with her.”

”The management team can go back to work. Those who have just joined, please stay for a moment; I have a few more words to say.”
