The Young Master in the Shadows

Chapter 485: Crazy b****!

“WHO ARE YOU!” The men shouted as they saw the other group approaching the boss’s gate where an encampment was built. This group was composed of a few young men with veiled women.

“....” the group stopped. “Who is your boss?” the group’s leader, the veiled woman asked coldly. Her voice was so pretty that few of the men swallowed.

“I am…!” Theta said as she stepped forward and looked at Lily. “Make way!” she ordered.

The men looked at each other and then stepped to the side, allowing her to pass.

“You are those idiots leader?” Lily, asked with a frown. She had to take a moment to recognize Theta, due to the shapeshifting talisman. Still, she acted as if they were complete strangers.

“My name is Theta, the leader of the newly found Adventurerʼs guild… Were you at the square when the dungeon opened?” Theta whispered, still many guys could hear her.

“Yes…” Lily nodded, “We belong to the von Weise family…” she added arrogantly revealing a white badge that had a purple gem. This one was used by servants but still represented the family.

“Oh…” theta frowned and glared at Lily with hostility, making the men who guarded her squeeze their feasts around their swords’ hilt.

“Relax, we only want to help defeat the boss and get the hell out of here…” Lily said.

“Who is that guy?” Theta asked, as if she finally noticed Yulian who was wrapped in chains.

“Just a prisoner for my young master… Don’t concern yourself with him!”

“...”

“...”

“Fine… How’s the level of the guys in your team?”

“Other than me and the twins, the rest are all noobs,” Lily sighed as if she didnʼt really want to be here doing the babysitting, “I alone will join the raid team if you are fine with it…”

“... Just be ready, We will tell you when after we finish arranging ourselves...” Theta said after some thinking then turned and returned to her team.

“Lady Theta… Those guys are suspicious!” one guy said as soon as she returned to her tent with Ruby who was waiting for her at the entrance. He clearly didnʼt like Lilyʼs arrogance at all!

“Remember what I taught you… We stay out of the noble familyʼs business… Those guys are dangerous, the less we know, the better!” Theta sighed.

“But… Can they be trusted in battle?”

“Since only that girl will fight, it should be fine… And I prefer them on my side, at least you guys might get to see how those guys fight for real!”

“Oh….” the man sighed.

“Just make sure no one bothers them…”

“No one is that stupid…….”

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA…………” a horrifying scream stopped him from completing his sentence.

Theta, Ruby, and that guy all ran outside.

A guy whom they knew as a part of their team was holding his neck as blood gushed out of it. He was looking in disbelief at the veiled girl who struck him out of nowhere.

“WHAT ARE YOU DOING?”

“ZIMAN!”

“BITCH!”

“YOU…”

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaa………………”

The five men who stepped forward to help him all fell to the ground, clutching their balls.

“Stay out of this…” the girl said as she stepped forward.

“Stay out of her way…” Theta commanded as she watched Lily approach the young man who she recognized as a local thug who wanted to join her guild after leaving her. He had a Bone warrior class that allowed him to cover himself with bone armor and use his own bones as weapons. Quite a good tank!

The men frowned listening to Theta, but they stayed out.

“W…. Why?” the man whose throat was nearly cut hissed as he fell down, dying.

“I don’t know who hired you… But like the rest, you will have to die…”

“How… How did you…”

“When I came here, I found a talisman that can detect evil will toward me… Consider it your bad luck….” she said as her sword slashed his neck.

Fsssssssssssssss….

What fell to the ground was just a card cut in half.

“Oh… That’s interesting…” Lily frowned as she grabbed it then smirked and began to look around as if searching for her target. “Don’t think you can keep hiding!” she spat.

“What happened?” Theta asked nervously.

“Nothing of concern to you… “Lily said, yawning a bit. “It is just that the time had become too late and some assassins want to kill me, and it seems like one of them has some very nasty ability…” she spat, throwing the card at Theta before turning and leaving toward the other side where the twins had just finished erecting a tent. “When you plan to start the raid… Make sure to wake me up…” she added.

“Um…” Theta frowned as she glanced at the card. It had the photo of the guy gasping in fear. “Ruby?” She turned to Ruby and handed it to her.

Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

Ruby frowned for a moment then placed the photo on the ground between the bewildered men. She closed her eyes and activated her healing skills.

FSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS…

Everyone heard the sound of something breaking, and in front of them, was no longer a ripped photo, but a naked man cut in half. On his bare chest there was a strange-looking dagger wound where his heart should have been, and around her was a blood tattoo depicting three crows, each with a different expression. One laughing, one crying and the third was raging.

“What is this?” one young girl asked nervously.

“You don’t need to know… Not our business...” Ruby said with a frown. “Make sure to stay in groups of 5 at all times… Even while taking a dump… We have a rat between us, he used Ziman’s body to try and assassinate that crazy girl!!” she spat.

“How about we start the raid and finish this quickly then?” one guy asked nervously.

“Tomorrow…” Theta said. That was what the cryptic message Lily told her meant.

“And the corpse?”

“Burn it!”

…

“SHIT!!!!!” the young man held his neck as he stood at the end of the camp. Although he was not hurt, the feeling was completely transmitted, and it hurt like hell. “HOW COULD THAT BITCH FIND HIM? A KILLING INTENT TALISMAN?” he asked himself “What Kind of shit luck was that?”

He sighed as he calmed down a bit.

From Lily’s reaction, he was now sure all the other assassins were dead!

And now he had three options.

The first was to call the mission quits. Sure, his father would be angry, but he was not going to risk himself trying to kill that crazy bitch! Her reaction speed was so fast that the moment he decided to throw that dagger, she moved a step before him!

The second was to join the fight for the boss and stab that crazy bitch from behind using poison. Would he manage to pull it off? He was not confident. Damn that Von Weiseʼs family is training her as an assassin!

The third option was to act as a coward and find a way to kill that unlucky idiot Yulian who would definitely be left behind. After that, his father would definitely put the blame on her and use it to strip her of her Inheritance rights.

Thinking about it, he quickly made his decision!

***

“This place is really nice… Do you use this room to keep your fuck boys?” Victor asked as they entered a side room following behind the storm lord.

“Only talk when I speak to you…” she spat angrily. Damn it, this guy’s thought process was so perverse, that due to the truth array, any regular comment he made got on her nerves.

“Ok… You are the kind who likes to make all the noises I see….”

“SHUT THE FUCK UP!” she really lost it and almost killed him. His rambling was really going to kill her!

“...” he raised his hands in surrender.

She led him onto a table where a strange-looking book was placed.

Another X-rank artifact. Since when were those this common?

“...” he wanted to ask what was this, but since she told him to shut up, he didn’t dare to speak.

“First of all, … Let’s talk…” she said as she gestured for him to sit in front of the desk as she sat on the other side.

He sat.

“Why did that doll try to look at you?” she asked directly.

“....” he sweated a little. SHIT!. ”Mmmmnnnnnn.....”

“You may speak…”

“Finally! Although I like the girls to make noises, I don’t like to be silent all the…”

“Answer the question!” she interrupted.

“Ah… the Doll… Right… Did it look at me? I am not sure….”

“....” she inspected his reaction. Was it her misconception or did he have something to do with Lazarus’s death? “Did you have anything to do with Lazarus’s death?”

“.... Ehm… Maybe…” he said as he sneakily began to look around. “Not directly…”

“What? Explain!”

“I cucked him… That girl, Naga, was definitely banging both the father and the son, I can tell… So, I am sure he was so angry back then that it might have clouded his judgment when he faced that guy….”

“...” the Storm Lord paused. Good point. But still... “Do you have any info about the poison lord?”

“Yeah…” Victor said taking out an envelope, that as soon as it left his pocket was snatched by a strange force that opened it and revealed the paper from inside.

What was written was the events of Von Weise Island.

“So, he may not be able to enter your world…”

“No idea, but it sure seems that way!” Victor was not sure about this, but thatʼs what he felt. Now with Alpha who had a spark not being able to enter dungeons, he began to make some connections. “Does lord have those kinds of limitations?” he asked.

“Different worlds have different rules…” she paused. “Do you know about the existence of lords in your world?”

“Ahh…. I did, from my master…” he said, looking around to make sure no one was listening. “There seem to be three at least… One is called the Blood lord, and the others are called the Void lord and The Fate lord….” he paused as the Storm lord got interested. She clearly didn’t get anything like that from Rosette.

“Really? What do you know about them?” she asked.

“Not much… Each seems to have its own hidden power, but my master told me that they canʼt move freely and that I shouldnʼt care about them... ”

“Oh…” she nodded. “Is that all?”

“Yeah….” Victor thought for a moment and nodded. “There is that Poison lord too, but my master said that he was an invader and he was going after him!”

“I see…” she nodded. “Can your master be a Lord too?” she asked.

“No idea… I did ask him that, and he said that this was not something someone like me needs to know about….” Victor pondered. “I suspect he is…”

“Oh… What makes you suspect that?”

“He is too strong… And he did mention that he was very old, 1000 years at least, or how else would my world not have anyone who is not a descendant of his…”

“...” the storm lord frowned for a moment there. Perverts Master and Disciple! “Do you know how he is planning to send you back?” she asked again.

“He said that he was going to build a temporary wormhole… It seems to have a lot of conditions to do it….” he shrugged.

“I see…” she pondered. “Will he go back with you?”

“No idea…” he shrugged. “From the way he was looking at the girls around here, I suspect he was going to take his time…”

“...” she sighed. “Let’s get to business then!” she said as she opened the box containing the talisman. “Take this talisman and apply its effect on the book!”

“Ahh… This book? Is it cursed?” he asked nervously.

“Don’t ask… Just do it!”

“Butt...”

“DO IT!”

“Sure! Your call...” he said as he grabbed the talisman and simply activated it with another real one, the book. This was how she was going to make sure he was not playing any tricks.

The Book shone as its pages began to flip, moments later they opened to a page that had writings in a strange language that Victor could easily read for some reason.

The Storm Lord almost gasped. How can a man have all that Authority? What kind of existence was this? Vito Verdi? “Do you know a guy named Vito?”

“No… Is he your boyfriend?”

“What’s your master’s name again?” she ignored him and asked her eyes squinting with greed.

“No idea… I call him Master, it might be a fetish for him or something, as he makes the girls say it too….”

“I see…” she paused as a very disturbing image appeared in her mind. “You may leave….”

“Really? Aren’t you…?”

“Go…” she interrupted and moved her hand.

POOOF!

Victor was thrown out of the room, flying as he crossed many corridors before finding himself back into the throne chamber, where he fell to the ground, face down. “YOUR JOB HERE IS DONE!” her voice sounded after him.

“Victor… Are you OK?” Rosette who ran to his side asked.

“Yeah… I think…. for now, at least…” he swallowed as in front of him, pointing to the position where the Storm lord was, there was a Black Death Fate thread. He was right... That bitch couldnʼt be trusted!
