Invincible from Seeing the BOSS's Health Bar

Chapter 168: Chapter 148: I’m Here (5 Updates, Request for Monthly Votes!)

Fang Yu pondered as he had the meal with Ah Mu.

”It’s not impossible.”

Fang Yu calculated in his mind the purchasing power of a couple of silver, estimating how long it could support idlers.

However, he didn’t notice that his second sister, upon hearing this, opened her mouth wide in shock.

Then she thought of something, her cheeks and ears burning red, and she suddenly fell silent, burying herself in her rice and vegetables.

At this moment, Fang Yu arrived at a conclusion.

”Second sister, I’ve calculated it. If I earn another three hundred silver and save it in the bank... Eh? Second sister, where are you going?”

”I’m full, going back to my room to rest.”

Bang.

The door closed, and she truly went back to her room.

Fang Yu was a bit confused.

Looking at the food on the table, only a little had been eaten.

”Good thing I’m a martial artist with a big appetite.”

He easily finished the meal, completing a clean plate mission.

After washing the dishes and tidying up, Fang Yu also went back to his room to sleep.

That night, Fang Yu slept soundly because he logged out of the game to browse the forums.

And unbeknownst to him, his second sister in the next room was experiencing insomnia, which she hadn’t felt in a long time.

...

In reality, Fang Yu browsed the gaming forums.

First, he scanned the key terms related to Tianyuan Town.

Some people were job hunting.

Since their characters’ skills couldn’t be transferred, sometimes even those with high starting points could only stare blankly, being laid off and becoming unemployed.

Others were too proud to stoop to doing menial jobs in the game, although it would grant Experience Points.

The rest were shamelessly hoping for sky-high welfare jobs to fall into their laps while asking around for connections to take them under their wings.

Some people were leisurely documenting the scenery with texts or drawings.

By drawings, it means what they saw in the game was memorized and then drawn in real life using drawing software.

The game’s scenery was really beautiful, with a full ancient style, friendly for casual players, as long as they weren’t worried about daily necessities.

Moreover, these types of players usually didn’t care about dying; if they died, they just switched characters and continued their reckless ways.

So, these posts about landscapes or civilian life were quite popular.

Of course, it could also be because the game doesn’t have a screenshot or video recording function, frustrating everyone, and during the death cooldown, they can only look at others’ fan-made drawings to satiate their cravings.

There were also people seeking Martial Arts Secret Manuals, seeking adventures, seeking NPC data for better affinity...

Anyway, there was a bit of everything.

With an overload of diverse information, Fang Yu started getting dizzy after scanning two pages.

There were even gossips.

News like Black Tiger Gang rising dramatically, sweeping several other factions’ territories.

News that Han Mengyu, who was once on the Foolish Underworld beauty list, indulged in pleasures, declining in complexion and charm, and got squeezed out of the list by newcomers.

News about Baoan Temple being closed for many days with rare sightings of people, suspected of closing down and suggestions to consider buying the property early for a hefty price.

These gossips weren’t from the same source but were sparsely posted by different people.

Fang Yu just glanced over them, not too concerned.

Mainly, keywords like ’Foolish Underworld,’ ’Black Tiger Gang,’ ’Baoan Temple,’ caught his eye a bit longer.

As for the authenticity of the content, he had his doubts.

Soon, Fang Yu found the most important part about gold prices.

He checked briefly and felt relieved.

Good, the gold price wasn’t strained.

Today was a bit busy, overwhelmed with things to handle.

Once online tomorrow, first thing is to find someone to exchange money, then go find Yue Guang for some information.

Oh, and bring a mask to cover up the identity.

Didn’t second sister just buy a fox mask? That could work.

Flipping further, there wasn’t much else of note.

Fang Yu then cleared the keyword and returned to the homepage.

Let’s see what major events have happened in the game recently.

A glance was enough to evaluate it as a complete mess.

”Who cares how it turns out? Dragon’s Dominion Guild, right? I’m telling you, I’m waiting on Yangyang Street for you guys! If you dare, come over and face me!”

”Dare to mess with our dorm’s eight badasses, your hood will be pulled off, definitely no good ending for you!”

”Come on, guild battle? Does your entire guild even have eight people? Come to Yangyang Street, no need for other brothers to rush from other cities, just the three of us can take on your entire guild!”

Wow!

Such fiery temper!

It’s time again for my favorite part of guild provocations and lone warriors wreaking havoc.

Fang Yu perked up.

Although the posts were a bit abrupt, they did not hinder his enjoyment of the drama.

From the previously bought items, he pulled out a small bag of sunflower seeds, poured some soda, and Fang Yu savored the drama with relish.

All that was missing was a maid beside him to move the mouse and manually scroll the screen.

Enjoying the drama, two things matter: timeliness and completeness.

Now, this post had both.

Timeliness was obvious, as the feud seemed to have escalated to the stage of mutual brawls.

As for completeness, the posts below even came with attached links!

Like a mini-drama series, even the posts from enemy guilds included hyperlinks.

This greatly facilitated Fang Yu, a spectator.

One post after another, Fang Yu got the gist.

Simply put, the game had guilds similar to other games.

However, outside of the game, the guilds found the environment here not so friendly.

Because any player enters the game with a random character at a random location.

Even if a guild had thousands of members, once scattered in the game, it was hard to even gather two people in one place.

So despite having grand guild titles, in the game, most of the time they were alone, at most engaging in verbal battles outside the game, appearing powerful and numerous.

Once in the game, if you were to be beaten, you were beaten, and nobody was going to travel thousands of miles from another city to help.
