Build a Fifty-meter Giant Mecha at the Beginning!

217: Heavy proton cannon, tractor beam launcherThis news reached every person in Shancheng in just one minute.

“Oh my goodness, we’ve never had such a huge spectacle before!”

“It seems Great God Zhang Yuanhang has created something extraordinary this time, which is why the Government is so on edge.”

“I can only say Great God Zhang Yuanhang is awesome.”

“My curiosity is off the charts! I really want to know what Great God Zhang Yuanhang invented?”

...At this moment, the people of Shancheng didn’t care how long the holiday was; they only cared about what Zhang Yuanhang had developed this time.

All major construction sites, factories, and companies also actively cooperated with this holiday.

After all, this matter concerned Zhang Yuanhang, and they had made huge profits over the years thanks to Zhang Yuanhang. Not to mention stopping work for a period, they would unconditionally obey even if it meant a year-long shutdown.

All citizens had returned home by now. To maintain a quiet environment, the people of Shancheng on the roads were very disciplined and didn’t greet others.

One should know that in the past, whenever they drove, the hot-tempered people of Shancheng felt their driving was incomplete if they didn’t curse once or twice.

Mahjong parlors, which had always been bustling, began to experience quietness today.

Everyone was afraid that the sound of their mahjong game would disturb Zhang Yuanhang.

At this moment, Shancheng was like a city with its pause button pressed.

The entire Shancheng instantly fell silent.

This left Chinese Netizens dumbfounded, yet also immensely relieved. Such a scene could only unfold in China.

“The people of Shancheng did a great job; they didn’t shame our China.”

“Exactly, Shancheng sacrificed so much this time; the Government must compensate them.”

“Indeed, no matter the time, Shancheng has never let down our China.”

“Long live Great God Zhang Yuanhang, long live Shancheng!!!”

...Chinese Netizens felt immense admiration for Shancheng, which had made such a huge sacrifice this time.

People abroad were already numb at this point.

They only had endless questions in their hearts: Why was Zhang Yuanhang so fast? He had already started research and development again.

Countries on Blue Star now all focused their attention on Shancheng.

What exactly did Zhang Yuanhang develop that could make China press the pause button on Shancheng, its fastest-growing and largest economy???

Shancheng Military Base.

At this moment, Zhang Yuanhang was meticulously drawing the blueprints for the Star Destroyer.

“Why is it so quiet today?”

“I can’t even hear the birds chirping.”

Zhang Yuanhang, holding a glass of water, looked outside in confusion. There was no sound at all outside, so quiet that Zhang Yuanhang could hear his own heartbeat.

However, Zhang Yuanhang didn’t dwell on it; his mind was entirely focused on the Star Destroyer.

After drinking the water, he fully immersed himself in drawing the blueprints.

In the blink of an eye, two and a half months passed.

At this time, security personnel were not only standing outside to protect Zhang Yuanhang’s safety but also entered Zhang Yuanhang’s room, carefully moving the blueprints.

Nothing else; there were so many blueprints this time that Zhang Yuanhang’s room couldn’t hold them all, so Zhang Yuanhang could only have people move them to a safe place.

“There are still three days of work left, and all the blueprints will be finished.”

“This time, I was almost exhausted to death.”

Zhang Yuanhang rubbed his shoulders; after drawing continuously for two and a half months, his head was throbbing.

Upon hearing this news, The Top Leader and Old Wang immediately called Academician Wu, Academician Zhao, and Academician Sun.

“Academician Wu, Academician Sun, Academician Zhao, these are all the blueprints Xiao Zhang drew in the past two and a half months.”

“Take a look and see what Xiao Zhang developed this time?”

The Top Leader said.

Academician Wu and the other two immediately picked up the blueprints and started examining them.

“Star Destroyer!”

“Hiss!”

After a quick look, Academician Wu and the other two gasped.

The data on the blueprints was truly hair-raising.

“Chief, Old Wang, I now understand why Xiao Zhang requested to halt the construction of the Azure Dragon Space Battleship.”

“Compared to this Star Destroyer, the Azure Dragon Space Battleship is like a mere elementary school student.”

“The difference between the two is too vast.”

Academician Wu said to The Top Leader and Old Wang after calming down.

“Excellent!”

The Top Leader was overjoyed, his face flushed with excitement, and his secretary beside him already had his medicine in his pocket.

“Tell us the specific data!”

Hearing Academician Wu say this, Old Wang felt that in the battle against the aliens from zhws-1, their China would definitely win.

“Yes!”

Academician Wu nodded.

Then he turned, picked up a blueprint, and said, “These blueprints do not contain a full view of the Star Destroyer, only some data.”

“Based on my estimation, this Star Destroyer should be about three hundred kilometers long.”

As soon as Academician Wu finished speaking, The Top Leader and Old Wang’s eyes nearly popped out.

One should know that the Moon’s diameter is only a little over three thousand kilometers, meaning this Star Destroyer was almost one-tenth the size of the Moon.

“Its height is around fifty kilometers, and its width is around seventy kilometers.”

“The most terrifying thing is this Star Destroyer’s shield!”

“This shield is different from a Plasma Shield; it warps the space around the Star Destroyer, deflecting enemy weapons from their original trajectory.”

Academician Wu said with great excitement. This shield was not just a little bit more powerful than a Plasma Shield.

As long as the Star Destroyer’s energy supply remained stable, this shield would likely be very difficult to break.

The Top Leader and Old Wang didn’t know what to say; they just exchanged glances.

As it stood, their China didn’t need to worry about alien invasion; rather, the aliens needed to worry about their China invading them.

“Academician Wu, how are this Star Destroyer’s weapons?”

Old Wang asked urgently. The shield could already be considered invincible; now it was time to see how the spear was.

“According to the data on the blueprints, the Star Destroyer has a Heavy Proton Main Cannon. As for its power, only Xiao Zhang would likely know.”

“Then there are also two Tractor Beam Emitters, which we also don’t know what they are; only Xiao Zhang would likely know.”

“We need to continue organizing the other weapon system blueprints to find out.”

Academician Wu looked at the mountain of blueprints beside him, his heart itching with curiosity.

“I don’t know the rest of the details either; it needs to be organized first.”

Academician Wu said as he saw Old Wang about to speak again.

He had just been about to ask about the Star Destroyer’s speed when he heard Academician Wu say this, so he didn’t say anything more.

“Alright, then Academician Wu, you all go ahead and get busy.”

The Top Leader and others nodded, then moved aside.

“Chief, the location for producing this Star Destroyer will likely need to be moved further away.”

“The Star Destroyer’s size is too massive; if it were placed around Blue Star, the Star Destroyer might affect Blue Star.”

Old Wang said.

“Understood. We’ll move the production line to Jupiter then.”

“The parts and materials will be transported by the Azure Dragon Space Battleship equipped with Lightspeed Engines.”

The Top Leader said.

The Lightspeed Qinglong Space Battleship never imagined that before it could even display its prowess, it would be relegated to being a ‘cargo ship’.
