Build a Fifty-meter Giant Mecha at the Beginning!

144: Anti-gravity car!!!After the Space Freighters left, Zhang Yuanhang returned to his room.

It was at this moment.

The Top Leader called.

”Hello, Xiao Zhang.”

”I have a question about the Space Combat Platform that I’d like to ask you.”

The Top Leader said, a bit embarrassed.

Previously, because he was immersed in the Space Combat Platform that Zhang Yuanhang brought, he didn’t immediately think of a very important question about the Space Combat Platform.

The Space Combat Platform was too low, and intercontinental missiles from various countries could reach it.

This was a very serious problem!

”Commander, please speak,” Zhang Yuanhang said.

”It’s like this, what if our Space Combat Platform is locked onto by enemy intercontinental missiles?

”What countermeasures do we have?”

The Top Leader asked.

After listening to The Top Leader, Zhang Yuanhang smiled.

”Commander, don’t worry, I’ve installed many Laser Cannons on the Space Combat Platform, capable of destroying intercontinental missiles before they arrive.”

”Moreover, the Space Combat Platform can also perform optical stealth, and it has its own engine, allowing it to maneuver in Space, making it very difficult for the enemy to lock onto the Space Combat Platform.”

Zhang Yuanhang explained.

”Optical stealth!!!”

The Top Leader on the other end of the phone, surprised, immediately stood up from his seat with a ’swish’.

The secretary, who was about to serve tea to The Top Leader, was startled and almost spilled the boiling water in his hand onto his own feet.

”That’s right,” Zhang Yuanhang said, ”Commander, once the personnel on the Space Combat Platform finish tidying up, I’ll give you a demonstration.”

Currently, the Space Freighter is still transporting various supplies to the Space Combat Platform, so it’s not convenient to interrupt.

”Good, good,” The Top Leader beamed with joy.

He truly hadn’t expected this Space Combat Platform to hide such a brilliant function.

The Top Leader, with an excited heart, worked while waiting for Zhang Yuanhang to demonstrate the Space Combat Platform’s stealth function.

Meanwhile, Zhang Yuanhang, who was on his way to the cafeteria for a meal, passed through a corridor and looked out the window.

Outside the window, a truck transporting iron ore had a blown tire and was blocking the middle of the road.

A flash of inspiration struck him.

He thought of using the gravity simulator on the Space Combat Platform to reverse-engineer and then create an anti-gravity device.

Finally, he would use it on these ore-transporting trucks, so there wouldn’t be problems with truck tires outside blocking an entire road.

”Comrade Zhang Yuanhang, no, I should call you Academician Zhang Yuanhang now.”

Song Jiang, bringing good news, had waited for Zhang Yuanhang in the cafeteria for a long time and, assuming he was asleep in his room, rushed over.

As a result, he met Zhang Yuanhang halfway.

”Huh?”

Zhang Yuanhang looked at Song Jiang in confusion, why was this guy suddenly calling him Academician???

”Just now, you were approved to be an Academician of our Huaxia.”

Song Jiang said with a smile.

He had just learned this from a conversation with the Blue Star Base.

If The Top Leader knew that Song Jiang had told Zhang Yuanhang this news, The Top Leader would surely kick Song Jiang flying.

Because The Top Leader had originally planned to tell Zhang Yuanhang himself.

At this moment.

Zhang Yuanhang’s phone rang.

It was a call from The Top Leader.

”Xiao Zhang, I have some good news for you.”

”Speaking of which, we were a bit slow.”

A hint of apology appeared on The Top Leader’s face; after all, this Academician position should have been given to Zhang Yuanhang much earlier.

It was just that before, the entire Huaxia was busy digesting the technological advancements brought by Zhang Yuanhang.

Now that things were better, everyone began to propose Zhang Yuanhang for Academician.

”Is it about promoting me to Academician?” Looking at Song Jiang, Zhang Yuanhang slowly said.

”Huh, how did you know?”

The Top Leader was completely bewildered; Zhang Yuanhang knew before he even spoke, could this genius of ours in Huaxia also tell fortunes???

Song Jiang heard the voice from the phone and his expression immediately tightened; he was finished, he shouldn’t have told Zhang Yuanhang in advance.

He quickly waved his hand, while also looking at Zhang Yuanhang with a pleading gaze.

”I guessed it myself, hahaha!”

Zhang Yuanhang said with a laugh.

”Oh, oh, Xiao Zhang, originally a few years ago, when you created the Pangu Mech, we should have promoted you to Academician.”

”But because we were busy with other matters, we forgot about it.”

The Top Leader said, embarrassed.

When the Pangu Mech first came out, the entire Huaxia scientific community and all the leaders were shocked.

At that time, no one even thought of promoting Zhang Yuanhang to Academician.

”It’s fine, it’s fine.” Zhang Yuanhang didn’t care about these empty titles; after all, whether he had the title of Academician or not had no impact on him.

Now, if you randomly asked someone in Huaxia who was more impressive, Zhang Yuanhang or an Academician.

Without a doubt, everyone would say the former was more impressive.

”From now on, I can’t call you Xiao Zhang; I have to call you Academician Zhang Yuanhang.”

Seeing that Zhang Yuanhang didn’t show any particular emotion, The Top Leader started to joke.

”Commander, you’re joking; you are my elder, you can call me whatever you want.”

Zhang Yuanhang said with a smile.

”Hahaha!”

The Top Leader burst into laughter.

”Xiao Zhang, I have to go busy myself now, so I won’t disturb your rest.” The Top Leader saw his secretary approaching with another stack of documents, so he stopped joking with Zhang Yuanhang.

”Alright.” Zhang Yuanhang hung up the phone.

”Oh, the ore truck outside broke down again! This is the third time this month.”

”It seems it’s time to build a cement road on the Moon.”

Song Jiang also noticed the situation outside at this point and said with a frown.

”This is the third time this month!” Zhang Yuanhang was surprised.

It seems he must build the Anti-gravity car soon, otherwise, this will greatly affect efficiency.

”Commander Song, please make arrangements, I need to return to Blue Star.”

Zhang Yuanhang turned to look at Song Jiang.

Working alone on the Moon, he didn’t know how long it would take to build an Anti-gravity car.

It would be better to return to Shancheng Military Base and research it with Academician Wu and the others.

”Alright, alright, Academician Zhang Yuanhang, I’ll contact a Space Freighter for you right away.”

Song Jiang was truly happy to hear that Zhang Yuanhang was returning to Blue Star.

No matter what, there were still dangers on the Moon; only when Zhang Yuanhang was on Blue Star could everyone feel at ease.

The news of Zhang Yuanhang’s return from the Moon also reached Shancheng Military Base immediately.

”Good, that kid Zhang Yuanhang is finally coming back.”

”When he comes back, we need to have a good talk with him; staying on the Moon for so long is simply too dangerous.”

”That’s right, we must properly instruct Xiao Zhang this one time.”

...Academician Wu, Academician Zhao, and Academician Sun’s faces were filled with smiles.

Actually, a long time ago, the three of them wanted to take a Space Freighter to the Moon to persuade Zhang Yuanhang to return to Blue Star.

Unfortunately, they were old and had many illnesses, so the doctors wouldn’t let them go.
