127: The meteorite crisis is over, and the only unlucky one is Eagle Sauce“Please rest assured, our Motherland and our people, we will stop the meteorite even if it means our death!”

The two pilots of the Space Freighter had determined eyes. They both understood that once they left this time, it would be very difficult to return.

But neither of them was afraid.

“The Top Leader, we’re off.” The two boarded the Space Freighter without looking back.

This scene was naturally broadcast live by CCTV.

“Wuwuwuwu, I’m getting old and can’t watch these things.”

“Didn’t the Aerospace Fighter already depart? Why do we still need to send out this Space Freighter to transport nuclear warheads?”

“The Government should be doing it for insurance, right? When the Aerospace Fighter can’t intercept, the Space Freighter can still serve as a backup.”

“They basically know that they might not come back from this trip, but they still went without hesitation.”

“Whenever there’s a dangerous moment, our country always has heroes who step forward!”

…Watching the live broadcast, the Chinese people were in tears.

At the same time.

Hong Bo and the others had been flying at full speed in Space for an hour.

As the distance grew shorter, Hong Bo and the others could already see the meteorite flying towards the Moon.

“Holy crap, this meteorite is so huge!”

“Can the missiles we brought really destroy this meteorite?”

…Looking at the photos taken by the Aerospace Fighter, Everyone’s eyes were filled with worry. A large mountain was flying towards them.

“Everyone, what we brought are Air-to-air Missiles developed by Great God Zhang Yuanhang.”

“Destroying this meteorite in front of us is absolutely no problem!”

Hong Bo immediately spoke to comfort Everyone when he heard the voice from his earpiece.

After four hours of flight, the meteorite had entered the Aerospace Fighter’s firing range.

“Fire! Launch all missiles!”

Hong Bo shouted into the intercom, simultaneously pressing the fire button and launching the twelve Air-to-air Missiles from the missile bay.

The rest of the people also pressed their fire buttons.

More than seven hundred Air-to-air Missiles flew towards the meteorite.

Hong Bo and the others watched the flying missiles with full concentration, Everyone’s hearts were in their throats.

Success or failure depended on this moment.

Soon after.

“Hit.”

The Air-to-air Missiles hit, and more than seven hundred dazzling sparks appeared in the dark Space.

“How is it?”

“Was it destroyed?”

“It was destroyed. The radar shows that the large meteorite has now turned into countless small pieces.”

“Now the Moon is safe, and our Blue Star is also safe.”

…As the flames dispersed, the mountain-like meteorite had disappeared, replaced by countless fragments.

“Not good, turn quickly!”

Hong Bo immediately shouted.

They celebrated too early. These fragments, aided by the explosion wave of the Air-to-air Missiles, had a sudden increase in speed. Their speed directly increased tenfold.

If they were hit by these, they could directly have a funeral.

Everyone quickly pushed the throttle to leave the area.

Hong Bo immediately sent the information about these fragments to Blue Star.

By the time the news reached Blue Star, an hour had already passed.

Chinese astronomers immediately locked onto these fragments using observatories. Chinese astronomers breathed a sigh of relief after learning the size of these fragments.

Because these fragments were too small, and most of them would be blocked by the Moon.

Those not blocked would burn up in the atmosphere when they reached Blue Star, causing no impact on humanity.

“The Top Leader, the meteorite crisis has passed!”

The secretary quickly relayed this news to The Top Leader.

“Excellent! Thanks to Comrade Xiao Zhang’s Air-to-air Missiles!” The Top Leader once again expressed his gratitude to Zhang Yuanhang.

“Notify Everyone to create a hero medal for the pilots who participated in this rescue mission.”

“And confer upon them the title of Space Hero!”

The Top Leader said with a smile.

“The Top Leader, what about Comrade Zhang Yuanhang?” The secretary, seeing that The Top Leader hadn’t mentioned Zhang Yuanhang, reminded him.

“I certainly won’t forget Comrade Xiao Zhang.”

“Comrade Xiao Zhang will receive a separate award: the title of China’s First Scientist!”

“I will go to the international stage to fight for a suitable reward for Comrade Xiao Zhang.”

The Top Leader decided to secure a reward for Zhang Yuanhang that suited his status.

“Hiss!”

The secretary looked shocked.

Since its establishment, China had always been relatively subtle in its awards, and this was the first time such a title was bestowed upon someone.

However, Zhang Yuanhang was truly deserving.

Not to mention China, calling him Blue Star’s First Scientist wouldn’t be an overstatement.

“This is Shancheng Military Base. We just received news.”

“The Aerospace Fighter that departed not long ago used the Air-to-air Missile developed by Comrade Zhang Yuanhang to destroy that deadly meteorite.”

“Everyone, our human civilization has passed this crisis!”

The reporter stationed at Shancheng Military Base jumped up excitedly. Although from the moment he learned that the military was going to intercept with the missiles developed by Great God Zhang Yuanhang, the reporter already knew the outcome.

But now, he still couldn’t control his excitement.

“Great God Zhang Yuanhang is mighty! Long live the Aerospace Fighter pilots!”

“I knew this crisis would be resolved by our soldiers.”

“I’m truly fortunate that our China has the presence of Great God Zhang Yuanhang, otherwise, humanity’s fate would have been the same as the dinosaurs’.”

“Yes, Great God Zhang Yuanhang is like our humanity’s second parent!”

…The Chinese people expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Zhang Yuanhang.

At the same time.

All countries on Blue Star also received the news.

“Damn it, China actually got to show off like this. Our India will definitely catch up next time.”

“The missiles China used this time were definitely stolen from our Cosmos Country.”

“Oh God, it seems we, Eagle-land, can’t compare with China.”

…While other countries’ citizens felt China’s presence, they also felt very envious.

You know, more than thirty years ago, China was utterly impoverished, and the people’s living standards couldn’t even compare to a fraction of theirs.

But now, it felt like their positions with China had swapped!

Just at this moment.

Meteorite fragments struck.

Most of the meteorite fragments were blocked by the Moon, just as Chinese astronomers had estimated.

Only a small portion of the meteorite fragments headed towards Blue Star.

“Bang!!!”

A portion of the meteorites directly hit a military satellite of Eagle-land that happened to be passing by.

Seven or eight of Eagle-land’s military satellites were hit and destroyed.

Eagle-land.

“Holy crap, our satellites were hit by meteorite fragments.”

“Why are we so unlucky?”

“Damn it, they’re all military satellites! Each one costs ten million US dollars!”

…Eagle-land’s operators were dumbfounded looking at the static screens.

What kind of luck was this? Why did it just happen to hit their Eagle-land satellites!
