Build a Fifty-meter Giant Mecha at the Beginning!

116: The director of the space agency proposed a lunar base plan!Seeing that Japan’s Ambassador had been fooled by him, a smile once again returned to Trump’s face.

”Everyone, it’s a pleasure working with you!”

After shaking hands with the two, Trump left a step ahead.

At this moment, India’s Ambassador’s eyes were filled with excitement; their India would soon have an Aerospace Fighter, and then they could compete with China on the Border.

Unlike India’s Ambassador, who was happy, Japan’s Ambassador was a bit disappointed.

Although they had joined the Aerospace Fighter project, they were unable to arrange for anyone to participate in the research.

The news that India and Japan would invest 500 billion US dollars in the Aerospace Fighter project reached China immediately.

”Hahahaha!”

The Top Leader looked at the document sent by his secretary and burst into laughter.

500 billion US dollars, just thinking about it was terrifying!

Such a large sum of money piled up was a mountain!

But now, this money was destined to be wasted.

”Chief, the Director of the Space Administration is here.”

The secretary said.

Last time, the Director of the Space Administration had planned to announce the establishment of a Lunar Base.

However, because his subordinate came to him at that time and said that there was a problem with the Lunar Landing plan,

the Director of the Space Administration returned to the Aerospace Administration midway.

”Let him in, I was just about to look for him.”

”I wonder when the Lunar Landing plan can be implemented?”

The Top Leader had not forgotten the Lunar Landing plan.

”Yes!”

The secretary hurried out.

Soon, the secretary returned with the Director of the Space Administration.

”You’ve come at a good time, when can we achieve Lunar Landing?”

The Top Leader looked at the Director of the Space Administration with anticipation in his eyes.

”Chief, everything prepared for the Lunar Landing is now ready.”

”According to calculations, the Lunar Landing window is in two days!”

The Director of the Space Administration didn’t expect that the busy Top Leader still remembered the Lunar Landing.

With China’s technology advancing by leaps and bounds under the leadership of Zhang Yuanhang, the Director of the Space Administration had thought that the Lunar Landing plan would not receive the attention of The Top Leader!

”Good!”

The Top Leader was very happy.

”Chief, I came this time to report an important plan.”

The Director of the Space Administration said.

The Top Leader looked at the Director of the Space Administration in confusion; he had originally thought that the Director of the Space Administration came this time just to report that Lunar Landing was possible.

But there was something else he wanted to discuss with him.

”What is it?”

The Top Leader asked.

”Before, I saw the Suzaku Aerospace Fighter delivering Air-to-air Missiles to outer Space, and I thought about whether we should establish a base on the Moon.”

”Then our Aerospace Fighters could also fly from the Moon to further Space.”

”And we would also be able to conduct some experiments on the Lunar Base that are not possible on a Space station.”

The Director of the Space Administration said.

The Top Leader nodded; the words of the Director of the Space Administration had moved him.

”This is a very good idea, but to establish a base on the Moon, can your Aerospace Administration’s current technology achieve it?”

The Top Leader was a bit skeptical that the Aerospace Administration’s current technology could achieve this.

The Director of the Space Administration’s face flushed under The Top Leader’s gaze, ”Chief, our Aerospace Administration doesn’t have this capability yet, but Comrade Zhang Yuanhang does!”

”Didn’t you say before, Chief, that Comrade Zhang Yuanhang went to research Space Freighters!”

”At that time, we can rely on the Space Freighter to transport supplies to the Moon!”

The Director of the Space Administration chuckled.

Currently, there was a saying circulating in China’s scientific community.

If you encounter difficulties, find Zhang Yuanhang, and they are guaranteed to be solved without trouble!!!

The Top Leader remained silent and did not rush to speak.

Zhang Yuanhang built the Space Freighter to facilitate the construction of a Space platform in near-Blue Star orbit later.

However, he could build a few more later and then go to the Moon to build a base.

”Okay, but the initial Space Freighter will not be for your use.”

The Top Leader stated this in advance.

”Mhm, mhm, of course, we’ll use it later, we can’t delay Comrade Zhang Yuanhang’s important work!”

The Director of the Space Administration nodded; even if they were given it now, they couldn’t do anything with it.

Nothing had been built yet, and the Space Freighter would just sit in the hangar gathering dust.

Shancheng Military Base.

Academician Qi led a group of Academicians and many researchers in building the second Air-to-air Missile.

With the experience of the first one, their construction this time was smoother and relatively faster.

Looking at the Air-to-air Missile that was more than halfway complete, Academician Qi wiped his sweat and said with a wry smile to a few Academicians beside him, ”I didn’t expect that so many of us combined, exerting our full efforts, could only barely build this Air-to-air Missile.”

Everyone gave a wry smile.

”That’s right, before coming to Shancheng Military Base, I was thinking of thoroughly understanding everything Comrade Zhang Yuanhang researched, but now it seems that understanding a small part is already quite good!”

”Exactly, I always thought I had some talent, but now I feel like I’m just a fool.”

”Sometimes I really want to cry, I’ve been doing research my whole life, and I can’t keep up with a twenty-something-year-old kid.”

...Everyone looked at the core components that had been built on the side, feeling a chill in their hearts, and at the same time, extremely lucky.

Fortunately, they didn’t have to build these things, otherwise, this Air-to-air Missile would never have been built in this lifetime.

”Let’s work hard, us old guys, each understand a little, and then teach it to these young people.”

”In the future, how shocking will our China’s military technology be!!!”

Academician Qi was suddenly filled with motivation when he thought of this.

The rest of the people also nodded, feeling happy for these children today.

Now, with Zhang Yuanhang leading the way, all these children needed to do was thoroughly understand the things Zhang Yuanhang left behind, how fortunate that was!

Unlike their past, where they knew nothing, understood nothing, and the path ahead was dark, they could only explore step by step, moving forward little by little.

At this moment.

A massive fighter jet was slowly pulled out of the factory by four or five tow trucks.

”What the heck, what is this behemoth?”

”Is this thing Great God Zhang Yuanhang’s new invention???”

”This is too big, is this a Space battleship?”

”Are Aerospace Fighters no longer enough for Great God Zhang Yuanhang? I feel like I’m in the future.”

...Some passing researchers stopped in their tracks, staring dumbfounded at the Space Freighter being slowly pulled out of the factory.

”Holy cow!!!”

Old Wang and Leader Jia both stared dumbfounded at the Space Freighter.

Although they had seen the blueprints for the Space Freighter, the moment they saw the real thing, they were both shocked by the scene before them.

”Is this the Space Freighter?”

”It looks more like a Space battleship!!!”

Old Wang, who had come back to his senses, looked at its massive size and thought this behemoth was simply too imposing.
