Immortality begin with Alchemy Grandmaster

Chapter 2690: Chapter 993: Xuan Du’s Sermon, Three Ascents to Cangwu

Glazed Pure Land.

Within the Moonlight Glaze Hall.

Master Xuan Du sat cross-legged at the top, with Luo Chen and Qing Shuang seated on either side, and another sixteen monks with weakened breaths and blood-stained robes seated below in the hall.

Luo Chen could feel the intense gaze of hatred from behind, seemingly wanting to pierce through him.

This battle, with the full force of the Hanging Temple coming down on them, was truly a display of all its elites.

Yet, after the battle, more than half of the thirty-six high monks perished beneath his sword, and the most talented head of the Prajna Hall also died at the hands of Qing Shuang.

To say there was no hatred would be too naive.

But Luo Chen felt no shame.

He had undertaken a task from someone, fulfilling their wishes with dedication, regardless of right or wrong.

At the top.

Master Xuan Du said slowly, ”Fellow disciples, in our cultivation journey, how can we harbor hatred and resentment? We must abstain from anger and rage.”

His voice was gentle, and the Buddha’s voice resonated.

It gradually calmed people’s mental states.

Although Luo Chen could still feel some of the hateful gazes, they were indeed much less intense than before.

He smirked slightly and ignored them, instead looking up at Master Xuan Du.

”Master, are you able to achieve the God Transformation Realm?”

Master Xuan Du first nodded, then shook his head.

This made Luo Chen uncertain.

Master Xuan Du sighed, ”Both achieved and not achieved.”

Luo Chen furrowed his brow, and recalling what Qing Shuang had said earlier, he had a vague guess.

Master Xuan Du’s current state was likely indeed at the God Transformation Realm, but it might not be sustainable for long.

The Buddha’s Left Hand had indeed severely injured him just before his grand accomplishment.

Now, he seemed well, but it was nothing more than an illusion, like the Mirror Flower, Water Moon.

”No matter, my current state is sufficient for the power I need for my upcoming endeavors. Your cooperation with me is complete.”

”I, a humble monk, thank you!”

Qing Shuang nodded slightly.

Luo Chen waved his hand dismissively, ”Since it’s cooperation, thanks are unnecessary. You are too polite, Master.”

Master Xuan Du forced a smile, ”Next, I will first send you to the Buddha Mother Temple, where you can activate the Teleportation Formation to leave the West Desert. As for what happens thereafter, that is an internal matter of our Buddhist sect and unrelated to you.”

Luo Chen and Qing Shuang exchanged a glance and visibly sighed in relief.

That they did not break the agreement was the best outcome.

However, some of the other high monks, those with less developed mental states, visibly showed dissatisfaction upon hearing this.

Master Xuan Du pretended not to see and began discussing insights on advancing to Divine Transformation.

As expected, when he started talking about this, the high monks of the Buddhist sect disregarded Luo Chen and Qing Shuang, focusing intently instead.

Luo Chen and Qing Shuang stood in the hall, feeling somewhat awkward, but since Master Xuan Du did not expel them, they thickened their skins and stayed, listening attentively.

The Buddhist sect’s advancement to Divine Transformation is to achieve the Arhat Realm, quite different from the Demon Clan advancing to Ancient Demon or Immortal Cultivators advancing to Divine Transformation.

However, using others’ strengths can improve one’s own weaknesses; ultimately, it’s all about the transformation of the Divine Soul and mastery over Heaven and Earth Primordial Qi.

Thus, Luo Chen and Qing Shuang, listening carefully, benefited greatly.

Time passed unknowingly, and Master Xuan Du’s lecture came to its end.

He looked at the remaining fellow disciples, showing considerable pity in his eyes.

”My breakthrough borrowed the power of the Spirit Treasure Glazed Pure Land, so there are many imperfections. Therefore, while these experiences are credible, they shouldn’t be fully trusted; I hope you will consider your own circumstances carefully.”

The monks awoke from their daze, reciting Buddha hymns in gratitude for Xuan Du’s teachings.

This scene looked rather odd.

Clearly, just moments ago, they were shouting to fight, yet now they were harmonious as before.

Perhaps this is what the Buddhist sect is like!

Or maybe it has something to do with Master Xuan Du being from the Hanging Temple.

Luo Chen remembered Xuan Du’s words and bowed in salute.

”Thank you, Master, for your guidance.”

Master Xuan Du smiled slightly, ”If you gain some understanding, that is best; if you achieve something in the future, just burn an incense stick for me at the temple.”

Luo Chen was stunned, not understanding his meaning.

Master Xuan Du did not explain further, casually slicing through the air.

Qing Shuang seemed to sense something and looked back.

A light doorway appeared within the Glazed Pure Land.

”We have arrived at the Buddha Mother Temple.”

Luo Chen and Qing Shuang stood up together and walked out of the hall.

Behind them were more than a dozen gazes laden with complex emotions, including hatred.

The two seemed oblivious, as if it was no big deal if there were some hatred after this matter.

Their aim was simply to save a few years’ work and return to the Eastern Wasteland in one go.

Watching their departing figures, Master Xuan Du hesitated for a moment before calling out to Luo Chen.

”Benefactor Luo Chen.”

”Hmm?” Luo Chen turned around in confusion.

Master Xuan Du looked at him seriously, ”Your path of cultivation will inevitably have many obstacles due to your excessive killing. You should practice the Moonlight Purifying Heart Spell more.”

Luo Chen laughed heartily, ”Thank you for your advice, Master. I will certainly strive to cultivate.”

With that, he and Qing Shuang passed through the light door, leaving behind this blood-stained pure land.

Master Xuan Du sighed, unsure if they had truly listened.

He slowly withdrew his gaze, feeling the stares from his fellow disciples; he slowly clasped his hands together.

”It’s time to meet my senior brother.”

...

The battle at the Glazed Pure Land spread gradually as the Great Brahma Prince and other high-order cultivators returned to the Mosen King Court.

The prowess of Demoness Mo Luo was astonishing.

Together, they overwhelmed the high monks of the Hanging Temple.

Especially Alchemy Sect Luo Chen from the Eastern Wasteland, whose heavy killing aura and fierce demonic power were rarely seen in the world.
