Global Lords: Me and My Calabash Kiddos

Chapter 322: Chapter 151: Bloodstained Mist, Fortune and Calamity Arrive Together (Part 3)

”No! Brother, where there’s life, there’s hope. The mist outside your territory has already turned blood-red. Our High Priest said that if we attack the Lord’s territory, we’ll be tainted with this blood color, and our strength will only be at sixty percent. The High Priest also said there’s another possibility: if the Lord’s territory has high Spiritual Qi density, the blood mist will be lighter, and we might be able to use seventy or even eighty percent of our strength. Only the plague is immune to this blood color.” Ta Fang explained to Yi Tian.

”If that’s the case, then things will be much better.” Yi Tian put down his snack.

The indigenous people have sixty percent of their strength, the Lord has fifty percent—not much of a difference.

The Celestial Dao favors the indigenous people. If not for the High Priest meddling, the attackers are usually weaker than the Lord.

As for those Lords who killed auspicious beasts, they’re in a tougher spot.

”Brother! The Scorpio Gang recently purchased giant ship cannons, seems they’re targeting you—be careful. I heard the Flood Dragon Pirate Gang also wants to mess with you, and they own Diamond-level warships.” Ta Fang reminded Yi Tian seriously.

”So that’s what’s happening.” Yi Tian’s heart skipped a beat.

Pirates are definitely seasoned at naval combat. Yun Tao and his guys are new recruits, there’s no way they could stand up to a Diamond warship’s firepower.

The battle strategy has to be rearranged.

”Brother, good people have celestial protection. I believe you’ll definitely pull through.” Ta Fang had absolute confidence in Yi Tian.

”Thanks for the kind words, brother. The info you’ve given is crucial. I have to hurry and set up a battle strategy, so I’ll leave it here.”

Yi Tian thanked Ta Fang and closed the chat system.

This time, Yi Tian didn’t plan to play the navy game—his forces are too weak, and with his illness, he can’t focus for artillery strikes.

Going head-to-head with the Flood Dragon Pirate Gang is a hopeless fight.

On top of that, he doesn’t even know how many warships both Flood Dragon Pirate Gang and Scorpio Gang will send.

He’ll wait until the navy is properly formed, then use them to hit back hard.

Yi Tian ordered Seventh-Child to store the three warships, Silver Assault Boat, and Bronze Assault Boat all in the Purple Gourd, to prevent the enemy from capturing them.

The entire navy returned to the city, patrolling the inner city.

The seventy D-level prisoners who were sowing seeds in the fields were herded back to prison by Fire Dragon.

Something else puzzled Yi Tian: the auspicious beasts, birds, butterflies—all seemed to sense danger and ran into the city.

The auspicious bees hid themselves and disappeared without a trace.

Normally, they avoid people at all costs.

Yi Tian let them in; they’re precious to the territory. If the enemy gets frustrated attacking, they might vent on the auspicious beasts. Even if you win the battle, you’ll lose much more.

The four gates are closed!

On the south and west city walls, Tai Zhong has already finished setting up the Gravity Array.

”Lord, we request to fight! Please let us join!”

When Yi Tian arrived at the training ground, a young man called out to him.

Name: Guo Hecang.

Loyalty: 68.

Strength: 745.

Constitution: 742.

Agility: 750.

Skills: Sword Mastery LV.4, Archery Mastery LV.3.

Age: 76 years old.

He’s one of the five new top talents joined this time; Yi Tian somewhat remembered him.

The Celestial Dao Stone point notifications were temporarily muted by Yi Tian, otherwise there’d be too many messages interfering with his work.

”You can join the battle—I’ll give you a weapon.”

Yi Tian walked up to Guo Hecang, looked him over, then nodded—loyalty was over sixty, he could fight for the Lord.

Don’t hurt your subordinates’ loyalty.

”Lord, please give us weapons! We want to fight for you, too!”

With Guo Hecang taking the lead, many B-level warriors also requested Yi Tian.

Those who dared to speak now all had loyalty of sixty or greater.

They understood the points system; after moving to the garden district, they found Yi Tian different from other Lords—he didn’t treat them as slaves.

Just like Yi Tian said: ”If one prospers, all prosper; if one suffers, all suffer.”

As long as they work hard, what they couldn’t get in the tribe, they can get here.

Even if they want to become a Qi Refiner, it’s possible.

With a big battle coming, they want to show their loyalty as well as earn points through one fight.

”Alright! As long as you feel like you can’t leave the territory, you can join the battle.”

Yi Tian checked each one; once he confirmed their loyalty, he let them participate.

There were many other B-level warriors still struggling inside.

Some even wondered if the Lord’s territory would fall—though the Lord is incredibly strong.

But everyone knows, the stronger the territory, the stronger the invaders you’ll face.

But they remembered what Yi Tian said yesterday.

Chase god—don’t just worship god.

There’s no turning back for them now!

Even if the Lord falls, will things really be better for them?

They know exactly how indigenous people treat non-allies.

At this crossroads, more and more people half-knelt and begged Yi Tian to let them fight.

Emotions are contagious.

In no time, nearly seventy percent made their choice.

A portion were still struggling.

”Alright! I can see everyone agrees with me. You guys know, you’re not just fighting for me, you’re fighting for yourselves.”

Actually, some hadn’t reached sixty loyalty yet, but Yi Tian said this anyway.

They couldn’t have any ties with the enemy. As long as they witness the territory’s power and join a battle together—

After the fight, their loyalty will hit sixty.

”Thank you, Lord!”

A lot of people felt a mix of emotions. But the Lord was right—training a day in this high-Spiritual Qi territory is protecting their own interests.

”Gu Qianqiu, distribute weapons and send them up the city walls. Bring out four hundred High-Level Ox Horn Bows, give them to Yue Fei’s men.”

The boutique warehouse still has enough weapons for over two thousand people, though they’re mostly C-level. Once there’s a chance, Yi Tian will get them standard equipment.

With these B-level warriors joining, the whole city was like a steel barrel—Yi Tian felt very confident about this battle.

Now they just wait for the enemy to come.

”Fourth day of autumn!”

Yi Tian took Little Kiddo and climbed up the city wall, muttering to himself.

He did the math, patted his forehead—today’s the lottery draw day.

The last draw was the 25th; by the 4th, exactly thirty points had built up. Finally, it was time for a Three-Star draw.

Yi Tian walked alone into the city tower, not caring about the little tail following behind him.

”Celestial Dao Roulette, spend thirty points for a Three-Star draw.”
