Chapter 410: Chapter 18 Stepping into the Eighth Layer (Please Subscribe)_2

But now, expanding from a radius of thirteen thousand miles to twenty-five thousand miles, although the increase surpassed the former, the base was much stronger.

Lin Yuan was fully capable of containing it himself.

…

The crimson palace.

Chikun Star Lord was instructing the Great Peak Master.

On the verge of advancing to the Eighth Layer, the Great Peak Master was about to oversee the Star Domain; as his teacher, Chikun Star Lord would naturally bestow upon him some trumps for later use.

...
“Teacher, rest assured, I will be cautious,” he said.

The Great Peak Master nodded, knowing that Chikun Star Lord was looking after him.

“I wonder, among my disciples, who will be the next to break through to the Eighth Layer?” Chikun Star Lord sighed with a hint of emotion.

“The second disciple? The third disciple? Or the junior disciple?”

The Great Peak Master ventured a guess.

Among the students of the Chikun Star Lord, only these three were at the Seventh Rank.

“Who do you think it will be?” Chikun Star Lord asked with interest.

“In terms of talent, the junior disciple is definitely the strongest. However, to step into the Eighth Layer, Spirit Will is very important, requiring the accumulation of many years. The second disciple has almost accumulated enough. Once he advances to the King level, he should be able to attempt to open his Inner World and then surge to the Eighth Layer…”

The Great Peak Master analyzed calmly.

It wasn’t that he underestimated the junior disciple, but the enhancement of the Spirit Will Index indeed required a lot of time. How old was the junior disciple? Not even a hundred years old yet.

“What you say makes sense…”

Upon hearing this, Chikun Star Lord contemplated for a while and then nodded in agreement.

“Only…”

Chikun Star Lord had yet to finish speaking.

He seemed to sense something.

He looked in a certain direction, full of astonishment.

“Has someone broken through to the Eighth Layer?”

The Great Peak Master also sensed it and looked towards the source of the breakthrough.

Although Lin Yuan could conceal the disturbances caused by the expansion of his Inner World,

the breakthrough from the Seventh Rank to the Eighth Rank itself, involving fluctuations of the Origin Rule, could not be concealed.

“The junior disciple?”

The Great Peak Master widened his eyes; the source of the breakthrough was at the Thirteen Peaks.

Currently, on the Thirteen Peaks, only the junior disciple had the capacity to break through to the Eighth Layer.

As for those Seventh Rank guards? If these guards were about to break through to the Eighth Layer, they would definitely report to the Star Lord in advance.

“Damn…”

The Big Brother gaped, having only just analyzed with his teacher who the next ordinary Eighth Rank disciple would be, and now the junior disciple had immediately broken through to the Eighth Layer?

That wasn’t the point.

The point was, how old was the junior disciple?

He got to the Seventh Rank not long ago, and now the Eighth?

“This disciple of mine…”

Chikun Star Lord was also lost in a whirl of thoughts. The Great Peak Master thought the next to enter the Eighth Layer would be the Second Peak Master, but he didn’t agree.

Compared to the Great Peak Master, Chikun Star Lord was aware of Lin Yuan’s cultivation progress and his nearly Eighth Layer peak Inner World.

With such a vast Inner World, Lin Yuan’s physical soul and mental will would strengthen slowly,

until close to the peak of the Eighth Layer.

Here, the Eighth Layer peak referred to the peak of the physical soul, though the realm would still be at the Seventh Rank.

But in Chikun Star Lord’s view, even if Lin Yuan were to enter the Eighth Layer, it was a matter for decades or even centuries later?

And now he had just achieved that?

…

Meanwhile.

The stir caused by Lin Yuan’s breakthrough to the Eighth Layer was massive and began to affect the entire Chikun Main Star.

Not long ago, when Big Brother broke through to the Eighth Layer, Lin Yuan sensed it from a great distance, as from the Seventh to the Eighth Layer would cause a fluctuation of the Origin Rule, making it difficult to conceal.

Almost instantly,

numerous Sixth Rank and Seventh Rank Evolvers on Chikun Main Star were stirred up.

“Has another Peak Master become an Eighth Layer?”

“The Great Peak Master became the Eighth Layer not long ago, and now another Peak Master follows closely behind?”

“Our Chikun Star Domain, indeed has been producing mighty figures recently…”

The countless Evolvers on the Chikun Main Star were all somewhat dumbfounded.

“That’s odd, I met with the Second and Third Peak Masters not long ago; they were going out on a trip soon and should not be on Chikun Main Star right now.”

“Which means, among the Peak Masters present on the Main Star right now, only the Thirteen Peak Master is at the Seventh Rank?”

“Could it be that the Thirteen Peak Master has broken through to the Eighth Layer?”

…

This guess left all Evolvers somewhat bewildered.

Any rational Evolver could understand; the Thirteen Peak Master had only just announced stepping into the Seventh Rank. How could he possibly reach the Eighth so swiftly?

Do you really think cultivating is as easy as eating and drinking?

Currently, only the Peak Master of Shisan is on the Main Star with conditions favorable for a breakthrough to the Eighth Layer, as the Second and the Third Peak Masters are not present.

Perhaps those Seventh Rank king-level guards also have the conditions to break through to the Eighth Layer, but if a king-level guard were to breakthrough, they would be sent by the Star Lord to a specialized breakthrough planet, certainly not on the Main Star.

After considering all possibilities, only the Peak Master of Shisan meets the criteria.

“I have already contacted the Second and Third Peak Masters, and they are indeed not on the Main Star right now,” said a Seventh-Rank king-level Evolver.

Upon these words being spoken,

immediately, turmoil erupted.

Because this meant that the Evolver currently transitioning to the Eighth Layer could only be the Peak Master of Shisan.

If not the Peak Master of Shisan, could it be those who are merely Sixth Layer Peak Masters?

“The breakthrough is progressing smoothly.”

“He has now completely entered the Eighth Layer.”

The Seventh Rank Evolvers carefully sensed that the breakthrough from the Seventh to the Eighth Layer could face several potential difficulties, such as not overcoming the Heart Demon Tribulation or not opening up an Inner World.

Any of these potential failures would cause the signs of a breakthrough to abruptly stop.

But now, the breakthrough aura they sensed was incredibly smooth, flowing like a stream without any pauses.

“If it truly is the Peak Master of Shisan stepping into the Eighth Layer, then his potential is terrifying,” they said.

“In the future, even if he cannot break through to the Ninth Rank, he will at least be as invincible in the Eighth as the Star Lord.”

Even less experienced Seventh Rank Evolvers could see that the future lower limit for the Peak Master of Shisan was to be invincible in the Eighth Layer like the Chikun Star Lord.

As for the upper limit, that was unclear.

It might be the Ninth or even the Tenth Rank.

…

While countless Evolvers on the Main Star were discussing and speculating,

the news about yet another Eighth Rank Evolver emerging from the Chikun lineage began to spread like a hurricane in all directions.

Especially since this newly advanced Eighth Rank Evolver was likely the youngest Peak Master of Shisan, it incited almost frenzied intense discussions.

…

Wanyang Star Domain.

On the surface of a permanent star,

a black-haired elder appeared.

“Your Highness, Your Highness.”

The black-haired elder began to call out.

Almost ten years ago, the Wanyang Holy Son had made up his mind, risking his life to train inside the core of a permanent star.

Because only by doing so could he fully leverage his innate potential to advance to the Seventh Rank as quickly as possible, and catch up with the Peak Master of Shisan from the Chikun lineage.

How proud was the Wanyang Holy Son? Suffering successive setbacks from the Peak Master of Shisan, his heart was nearly overflowing with dejection.

At the call of the black-haired elder,

a fiery red crystal stone flew out from deep within the star.

The crystal stone hovered before the black-haired elder, beginning to melt, and the Wanyang Holy Son stepped out from it.

“What exactly is it?” he asked.

“Didn’t I say not to disturb me unless it was a matter of utmost importance?”

The Wanyang Holy Son frowned deeply; he had planned to continue his seclusion for two hundred years.

Yet now, less than ten years in, he was called out, which greatly displeased him.

“Your Highness, this is very good news, tremendously good news,” the black-haired elder said with a smile, quickly mentioning the incident involving a part of a Supreme Being’s body from outside the Main World.

“A body of a Supreme Being?”

“Available for us to comprehend, and as long as we understand the Supreme Evolution Path, we have a chance to become a Supreme Being?”

The Wanyang Holy Son’s eyes burnt with a flickering flame.

If this were true, then comprehending that part of the body would be better than secluding himself within the star.

“A body of a Supreme Being, I do not expect to understand the Supreme Evolution Path, but just understanding one in a billionth of its mysteries should help me ascend to the Seventh Rank,” he said.

The Wanyang Holy Son’s heart was ablaze.

According to his estimate, staying secluded within the star and facing near-death experiences would allow him to foreseeably reach the Seventh Rank in two hundred years.

However, by studying the body of a Supreme Being, perhaps he could reach the Seventh Rank in just one hundred years.

In only one hundred years, how far could the Peak Master of Shisan advance at the Seventh Layer?

He would have more hope of catching up.

By then…

The Wanyang Holy Son was excited, knowing that once he reached the Seventh Rank, being in the same Great Realm as the Peak Master of Shisan and relying on his “Nine Yang Divine Meridian” physique, he guessed he wouldn’t be too far behind.

Just as the Wanyang Holy Son was filled with hope and about to eagerly apply to study that part of the body,

the black-haired elder’s expression subtly changed; his consciousness was continuously connected to the Virtual World, ensuring he could be aware of any latest information.

“Your Highness…”

The black-haired elder delicately glanced at the ambitious Wanyang Holy Son and whispered, “There’s some bad news…”

“Bad news?”

The Wanyang Holy Son glanced at the black-haired elder, indifferently asking, “What bad news?”
