Comprehension Ability: Creating and teaching the Dao in various worlds

Chapter 393: Chapter 11 Desperate Situation (please subscribe)

Chikun Star Lord’s thoughts were complex.

His eldest disciple had entered the Eighth Layer, which should have been a cause for joy.

After all, this was his first Eighth Layer disciple.

But comparisons can bring fear.

The eldest disciple entered the Eighth Layer, and his inner world reached a radius of two hundred and thirty miles.

That, compared to Lin Yuan’s inner world of over one hundred thousand miles…

...
And Lin Yuan was still only at the Seventh Rank. When he stepped into the Eighth Layer, his inner world would experience an explosive growth.

The gap between them would only widen further.

Looking at his eldest disciple’s face full of joy,

Chikun Star Lord couldn’t help but sigh inwardly.

Indeed,

Sometimes ignorance is bliss.

“All right,”

“Don’t be too complacent. The path after the Eighth Layer is not easy. You need to collect various cosmic rare treasures, comprehend more rules, and perfect your inner world,”

Chikun Star Lord said.

As one who had been through it all, an invincible existence at the Eighth Layer, Chikun Star Lord was fully qualified to say this.

Even among those at the Eighth Layer, the disparity was huge. Take Chikun Star Lord himself, for example, killing an ordinary Eighth Layer strong one was not much harder than chopping vegetables.

On many medium-sized otherworldly battlefields, when Chikun Star Lord revealed his true body, he would blot out the sky; with an open mouth and a mere inhalation, countless alien strong ones were swallowed.

Then there was that member of the Heiyuan Clan from a million years ago, the invincible Eighth Layer Qingyu,

With just a single soul attack, he pierced through Eighth Layer Evolutionist Ou Yin’s myriad defenses, almost shattering his Eighth Layer soul defense treasure.

Even so, Ou Yin could not escape the fate of death.

“Understood,”

The Great Peak Master was startled and immediately refocused his thoughts.

Indeed, for the entire Human Civilization and the ten thousand races of the cosmic starry skies, the Eighth Layer only qualified one to stand on the stage.

“That’s good,”

Chikun Star Lord nodded slightly.

Although the Great Peak Master could not compare to Lin Yuan,

he too hoped that his disciple could walk further on the path of evolution.

“Which star domain do you plan to preside over?”

Chikun Star Lord looked at the Great Peak Master and asked.

“Preside over a star domain…”

Below, Lin Yuan and many other Star Lords heard this and turned their gazes towards the eldest brother.

The Human Civilization Alliance protects and shelters evolutionists below the Eighth Layer.

There is hardly any compulsory mission order; even for going to the battlefields of different races, evolutionists apply to go voluntarily.

Evolutionists below the Eighth Layer, as long as they don’t actively seek trouble or violate the laws of Human Civilization, can live very comfortably.

This might seem ordinary, but in the cosmic starry skies of other species, the weak are enslaved and driven; where is there any freedom or comfort?

But all this applies only to those below the Eighth Layer.

Once evolutionists reach the Eighth Layer, they must fulfill their duties to Human Civilization.

Specifically, that means choosing a star domain to reside over as a Star Lord for five hundred years.

After five hundred years, Eighth Layer evolutionists can choose to continue or to step down.

In short, evolutionists below the Eighth Layer are protected; at the Eighth Layer, they protect other citizens.

“Teacher, I haven’t thought it through…”

The Great Peak Master said.

Before his breakthrough to the Eighth Layer, the Great Peak Master did not even know if he could successfully step into the Eighth Layer; if he died under the Heart Demon Tribulation, thinking more would be pointless.

“No matter, take your time to consider,”

Chikun Star Lord was just asking casually; presiding over a star domain and serving as a Star Lord, although it was the duty of an Eighth Layer evolutionist,

It was not something that needed to be done immediately; there was time to adjust.

…..

After giving some advice,

Lin Yuan and the others left one after another.

At the First Peak, thirteen Peak Masters of the Red Kun Lineage gathered.

“By the way, eldest brother, while you were in seclusion to break through to the Eighth Layer, the supreme beings of Human Civilization brought out that body of an extraterrestrial being from a large battlefield…”

The Third Brother shared the recent events, emphasizing the section of the body from an extraterrestrial supreme being.

“I am aware of this,”

The eldest brother nodded. As long as his consciousness connected to the Virtual World, he could understand most of it.

Comprehending that section of an extraterrestrial supreme being’s body was not a secret in Human Civilization; nearly all Sixth Rank and Seventh Rank evolvers knew it.

Supreme beings did not intend to conceal the matter either because, ultimately, that body would be opened to most human evolutionists.

The other peak clans that obtained parts of the body would also do so; the few peak clans were competing, vying for the sole path toward the supreme tier of evolution.

“The teacher told me that the evolutionary path contained in that section of the body is very strange, and over the years, those evolvers who have comprehended the path have not been doing well in their cultivation…”

“So I have decided not to comprehend that section of the body,”

The eldest brother shook his head.

Whether to comprehend that section of the body is entirely up to the evolutionist, but with the opportunity of the supreme beings tier in front of them, hardly any evolutionist refuses.

The eldest brother knew his own affairs; having just broken through to the Eighth Layer, he needed a lot of time to stabilize his realm,

At this time, to comprehend an unknown body… was completely unnecessary.

For the eldest brother, it was most important to first stabilize his own realm. By the time he did, many talented evolutionists would have already joined in. Competing with these talents who had a head start was nearly hopeless.

Hence, the eldest brother chose to give up directly.

“That’s wise,”

Lin Yuan thought to himself and nodded internally.

Using his Against-Heaven’s Understanding, he kept contemplating the many evolutionary paths within that section of the body and became more aware that almost all the comprehended paths had some degree of problems.
