Chapter 17: Chapter 15 Uploading, Martial Tao Evolution Path

“The most pressing matter at hand is to fully recover my strength as soon as possible.”

Lin Yuan sat cross-legged on the bed, pondering to himself.

With Lin Yuan’s realm, as long as there was sufficient external energy, he could return to his peak in the shortest time.

And ‘external energy’… could translate to various kinds of nutritional supplements and tonics.

The Cosmic Human Alliance governed vast star domains and was not lacking in such things.

But the prerequisite was having enough money.

...
As a student, Lin Yuan naturally didn’t have much money.

Although his parents had some savings,

it was definitely not enough for the amount of nutritional supplements Lin Yuan needed to buy.

“Martial Tao evolutionary pathway…”

If Lin Yuan could upload this evolutionary pathway,

given the Cosmic Human Civilization’s support for developing entirely new evolutionary pathways, Lin Yuan would certainly receive a substantial amount of rewards.

Not just rewards, but also a sufficiently illustrious identity.

Lin Yuan had seen more than once on the internet the various deeds of evolution scholars who had pioneered certain evolutionary pathways.

However, before uploading the Martial World evolutionary pathway, Lin Yuan still needed to make some minor modifications.

After all, the human anatomy of the Martial World was not identical to that of humans within the Cosmic Human Civilization’s realm.

As a result, it was not guaranteed that the Martial World’s practices could be cultivated by citizens of the Main World.

This undoubtedly greatly reduced the value of the evolutionary pathway.

One of the criteria for judging the value of an evolutionary pathway was its level of pervasiveness.

However, such problems were nothing but trivial for Lin Yuan.

Under the premise of a roughly similar overall framework and with his Against-Heaven’s Understanding,

Lin Yuan could easily adapt and modify the Martial Tao evolutionary pathway to make it suitable for the citizens of the Main World to cultivate.

[With your Against-Heaven’s Understanding, you began to improve the Martial Tao evolutionary pathway, and it was quite effective….]

…

Compared to starting from scratch and deducing the subsequent path of the Martial Tao evolutionary pathway,

modifying the existing Martial World practices was undoubtedly much easier.

In just two hours’ time,

Lin Yuan had completed the modifications for the “Innate Chapter” and the “Grandmaster Chapter.”

He also integrated all that he had comprehended in his twenty years in the Martial World, forming a complete cultivation system.

“Martial Canon.”

Lin Yuan named it the ‘Martial Canon.’

Having completed all this, Lin Yuan chose to connect with the ‘Goddess of Wisdom.’

As one of the three ultimate AIs of the Cosmic Human Civilization, the Goddess of Wisdom was absolutely impartial, harboring no personal bias.

Uploading the evolutionary pathway to the Goddess of Wisdom would prevent any ‘interception along the way’ and other such accidents.

The Goddess of Wisdom herself would impartially determine its value.

Dozens of seconds passed.

A familiar synthesized voice rang in Lin Yuan’s ears.

“Cosmic level one citizen Lin Yuan, please state your request. Remember, you have already connected with the Goddess of Wisdom twice this month, leaving you eight opportunities remaining. Please use them wisely.”

“I want to upload a brand new evolutionary pathway.”

Lin Yuan said directly.

“Uploading a brand new evolutionary pathway…”

The synthesized voice didn’t fluctuate in the slightest.

In fact, not just across the entire Cosmic Human Alliance,

but on Canglan Star alone…

There were plenty of citizens who uploaded what they thought were ‘evolutionary pathways’ every moment.

What is an evolutionary pathway? It’s a guide capable of facilitating a leap in the very essence of life.

This leap must be stable and positive. Most ‘evolutionary pathways’ uploaded by citizens are extremely one-sided, highly volatile, and may not even have many specific cases to show.

It’s just a waste of the Goddess of Wisdom’s time for evaluation.

However, a brand new evolutionary pathway is too important for the Cosmic Human Alliance—it’s related to the birth of new Supreme Beings.

Therefore, whether it’s the Human Alliance or the three intelligent Goddesses,

“`

All spared no effort in encouraging citizens to explore and develop new evolutionary paths.

Even if it resulted in some resource wastage.

“That’s all.”

Lin Yuan had translated the Innate Chapter and the “Grandmaster Chapter” of the Martial Canon into the Human Alliance’s script and then began uploading.

“Evolutionary path reception in progress…”

“Commencing preliminary judgment…”

Almost instantly, the Innate Chapter and the “Grandmaster Chapter” of the Martial Canon were being simulated and deduced under massive computational power.

“Preliminary judgment, this evolutionary path is real.”

“Preliminary judgment, this evolutionary path is appearing for the first time.”

“Preliminary judgment, this evolutionary path has a vast popularity.”

…

Seconds later.

Lin Yuan was contemplating the upcoming “Great Grandmaster Chapter” and the “Mythological Chapter.”

The voice of the Goddess of Wisdom reached his ears once more.

However, compared to the electronic synthesized voice before him,

this time the voice sounded solemn and cool, even carrying a hint of ’emotion’ that should not exist.

“Respected class one citizen of the Cosmic Human Alliance, Lin Yuan, the evolutionary path you uploaded is undergoing deeper judgment, please wait…”

“Hmm?” Lin Yuan was slightly taken aback.

He had certainly noticed the change in the Goddess of Wisdom.

“Could it be that the one currently contacting me is one of the main consciousnesses of the Goddess of Wisdom?”

Lin Yuan silently mused.

The Cosmic Human Alliance governed vast star domains, and the number of its citizens was incalculable. Therefore, the Goddess of Wisdom given to each citizen as a welfare was actually a trivial sub-consciousness of the true Goddess of Wisdom.

Not much different from ordinary artificial intelligence.

The only difference was that it could contact the real Goddess of Wisdom at any time.

It was said that the main consciousness of the Goddess of Wisdom would appear when making truly significant decisions, but Lin Yuan had never experienced this.

What Lin Yuan didn’t know was,

at this very moment, in a Mysterious Space countless light-years away from Canglan Star,

a vast screen was rapidly flickering, frantically assessing the value of the Martial Canon.

“Deep judgment, the completeness and stability of this evolutionary path meet the standards.”

“Deep judgment, the potential limit of this evolutionary path reaches tier three.”

“Deep judgment, there is no similar evolutionary path in the current database.”

“Deep judgment, this item complies with Article 3 of the Alliance’s Charter. Initiating the contingency plan immediately, and ready to request authorization.”

“Searching for the highest authority within the nearby star domain of Canglan Star… Planetary Governor Song Wuyang identified…”

“Contacting Planetary Governor Song Wuyang…”

…

At the highest place on Canglan Star.

Song Wuyang stretched lazily, ready to end his day’s work.

As the Planetary Governor of Canglan Star, there were too many responsibilities that Song Wuyang had to juggle.

Canglan Star was a Middle-grade Life Planet, with a resident population of fifty billion alone.

Let alone other citizens who come for travel or business.

And all of this was Song Wuyang’s responsibility.

“Ready to rest, shutting off all communication devices.”

Song Wuyang instructed his smart assistant and began massaging his temples as he stood up.

This was Song Wuyang’s habit over many years: once resting, he would not involve himself with any work-related matters.

Of course, Song Wuyang’s rest time was very short.

Only two hours each day, but during those two hours, Song Wuyang would absolutely not make contact with any work-related matters.

Just as Song Wuyang was about to rest.

An electronic synthesized voice suddenly rang in his ears.

“Governor, there is a call request.”

“Didn’t I say to shut off all communication devices? No one is to contact me while I rest,” Song Wuyang opened his eyes abruptly, his eyebrows tightly knitted in dissatisfaction as he spoke.

“The requesting party’s authority level is the highest in the nearby star domain, unable to reject…”

“The highest authority level in the nearby star domain?” Song Wuyang raised an eyebrow, quickly regaining his composure, “Is it from one of the Star Lords?”

“No, it is the Goddess of Wisdom.”
