Chapter 17: Chapter 15: She Will Be Your Woman

”Lin Bingxuan!”

When the drunken woman looked up, Xiao Tian recognized her too.

Yesterday, Xiao Tian had an intimate night with Lin Bingxuan.

At this moment, Lin Bingxuan was half-squatting on the ground, her face flushed, eyes dreamy. When she saw that it was Xiao Tian who had come to her rescue, a spark of light appeared in her dreamy eyes. She slowly stood up and staggered into Xiao Tian’s arms.

As Lin Bingxuan threw herself at him, Xiao Tian immediately felt the softness and fragrance enter his arms, his nose catching a unique maidenly scent of hers, like jasmine mixed with pear blossom.

Xiao Tian picked Lin Bingxuan up and walked towards her car parked by the roadside.

Once they reached Lin Bingxuan’s house, Lin Bingxuan in his arms began to restlessly touch and pull.

...

The two of them battled countless rounds and eventually collapsed, falling into a deep sleep.

Ring, ring, ring...

The sound of a phone ringing woke Xiao Tian. He rubbed his eyes and looked beside him; Lin Bingxuan was gone!

”Why aren’t you answering the phone?”

Caught in his wild thoughts, Xiao Tian suddenly heard Lin Bingxuan’s voice. She was already fully dressed, walking in from the other room, her expression calm, but Xiao Tian couldn’t read her emotions.

Heh!

Seeing Xiao Tian looking at her cautiously, Lin Bingxuan chuckled softly.

”Why are you looking at me like that?”

”Lin Bingxuan... aren’t you... thinking of hitting or scolding me?” Xiao Tian carefully chose his words, considering that generally, when a woman finds herself taken advantage of by someone she’s not familiar with, that’s the first thing they would do!

Xiao Tian was ready for whatever way Lin Bingxuan might vent, and he wouldn’t make a sound.

Lin Bingxuan didn’t answer Xiao Tian’s question, her beautiful eyes staring straight at him!

This man, from the moment she first met him, caught her interest with his dexterous and brave act of saving her!

The second time they met, his suave yet slightly melancholic face captivated her once more. And after having two passionate encounters with him, those long-suppressed emotions suddenly surfaced.

Maybe all these years she kept her distance from men not just because of her sister’s failed marriage, but more because there was no man like Xiao Tian around her, one exuding an aura of safety and reliability.

Maybe, this is the kind of person she’s been waiting for...

”Not really...” As Lin Bingxuan spoke, she suddenly lowered her head, then quickly looked up with a blushing face, her gorgeous eyes fixed on Xiao Tian:

”Actually, as long as you want to, we... can continue to maintain that relationship... From now on, I’ll be your woman!”

What?!

Hearing this, Xiao Tian was briefly stunned!

But seeing Lin Bingxuan’s serious expression, it didn’t seem like she was joking!

Her words carried affection, and Xiao Tian understood that she was implying she wanted him as her lover! Xiao Tian quickly grasped the situation.

Oh my! Such a good thing, and it happened to me! It only shows that I have talent and charisma! Xiao Tian chuckled, fixed his gaze on Lin Bingxuan’s beautiful eyes, and asked in return:

”Are you serious?”

”...Mm.” Seeing Xiao Tian’s fiery gaze, Lin Bingxuan shyly lowered her head. It’s the first time she’s been so proactive in so many years, and the person is even a few years younger than her.

Smooch!

Seeing Lin Bingxuan’s adorable manner, Xiao Tian’s heart fluttered, and he pulled her into a strong embrace, giving her a solid kiss.

”Ouch~ what are you doing!” Taken aback by the unexpected kiss, Lin Bingxuan playfully complained.

Xiao Tian chuckled, thinking, Lin Bingxuan, did you forget how you fiercely pinned me down just now?

Ring, ring, ring...

The phone rang once more, it was the director Bai Tao calling from the city bureau!

The earlier call was already from Director Bai. The case with the Lan Family was almost resolved, just missing the mastermind.

The only breakthrough left was the suspect undercover agent—Ce Shi!

Earlier, Xiao Tian had told Bai Tao to have someone watch Ce Shi and gather clues from him. So, Director Bai must be calling about this matter.

Moments ago, Xiao Tian ignored the call because of Lin Bingxuan, but now that things were settled with her, he couldn’t reject a call from the higher-ups again.

”Hello, Director Bai.”

”What were you up to? Why didn’t you pick up the phone?” Evidently, Director Bai wasn’t used to having his calls ignored and sounded a bit displeased.

Had it been anyone else, Director Bai would have already reacted strongly, but Xiao Tian was a talented officer within the bureau.

Even if you’re my boss, do I have to report if I’m in the middle of romance? Though Xiao Tian thought this way, he dared not say it aloud, for he wasn’t arrogant enough to disregard the higher-ups. Besides, Director Bai had a good opinion of Xiao Tian.

”Hehe, just some personal matters. So, Director Bai, have you arranged the team to monitor Ce Shi?”

”That’s right, I’ve already informed the vice principal of the police academy to send a few fresh graduates for you to arrange.” Bai Tao sighed; if only Xiao Tian used all his cleverness for solving cases, the world would have fewer crimes. However, Xiao Tian’s carefree nature made him difficult to control. Perhaps all talented individuals have a bit of a personality, which is indeed quite helpless.

”Director Bai, your decisive way of handling things sets a great example for us all!”

Flattery always works, and Xiao Tian seized the chance to please Director Bai in hopes of cooling his displeasure. After all, Xiao Tian had a good standing in the police station and might be there for a while, even though he could be a bit arrogant at times. He didn’t intend to anger his superior.

Sure enough, Director Bai’s mood did improve slightly. Xiao Tian wasn’t completely without manners and wasn’t as wild as a runaway horse. If he were truly unmanageable, no matter how talented, Bai Tao would hesitate to employ him.

”Cut the chatter, hurry back. These newcomers are waiting for your instructions!”
