God-Level Special Forces Soldier

Chapter 16: Chapter 14: Breaking All Pretenses

The private room chosen by Cyan Wolf was called Red Plum Hall.

When Xiao Tian entered, he deliberately admired the painted red plums on the door. It was nice, a good omen!

”Yo, this must be Chief Officer Xiao, I’ve heard so much about you.” Cyan Wolf acted as if he were meeting an old friend, with a smiling face and a warm demeanor.

He extended his hand, but Xiao Tian seemed not to notice, sitting directly on the sofa beside the door, lighting a cigarette and taking a pleasant drag, not speaking a word, but looking at the other party with interest.

Cyan Wolf’s smile froze for a moment, anger rising but quickly suppressed, he gave a self-mocking smile, withdrew his hand and sat on the sofa opposite Xiao Tian. His lively subordinate promptly lit a cigarette for him.

”Care for one? A pack of Purple Gold Yellow Crane Towers, 5000 each, not easily found outside.” He was entirely showing off.

Xiao Tian scoffed, still silent, continuing to blow smoke rings to himself.

”It seems Chief Officer Xiao still feels resentment. Come, you four, serve Chief Officer Xiao with apology tea!” Cyan Wolf followed the established procedure, this was how the Changting Association always dealt with cops—first courtesy, then force!

Four men with gold rings approached, each holding a tray. But instead of tea, the trays were loaded with stacks of red banknotes! This was what they called ”apology tea”!

Xiao Tian estimated that it was around a hundred thousand yuan.

”What a generous gesture, is this a bribe?” he asked calmly, with no excitement in his voice.

Cyan Wolf laughed heartily: ”How could this be a bribe, we only meet after a fight, I just want to make friends with Chief Officer Xiao! After all, more friends mean more paths, no one thinks they have too many paths!”

Xiao Tian scoffed again: ”I’m a police officer, you’re a thug, us being friends? Aren’t you afraid people will die of laughter! I like making friends, but you, you’re not worthy!”

With that, he directly swept his leg out, and the hundred-yuan notes scattered in the air.

Cyan Wolf’s face instantly darkened, and the group of underlings behind him could no longer hold back.

”Little cop, you asking for a beating?”

”Don’t think just because you’re wearing a tiger skin, we brothers are scared of you!”

”If you don’t apologize to Brother Cyan Wolf today, kid, you won’t be leaving this room!”

”We’ve dealt with police before, don’t think too highly of yourself, anger us and we’ll finish you off in no time!”

Cyan Wolf did not stop his subordinates from speaking; his narrow eyes glinted with a cold light, fists clenching and unclenching, considering something.

”Your Changting Association really is bold, daring to threaten police to their face!” Xiao Tian’s smile grew more brilliant, those who knew him understood he was truly angry!

Cyan Wolf smirked: ”The brothers have had a little drink, letting loose some vulgar words, what’s the big deal? Nowadays we value freedom of speech, drunken words aren’t a crime!”

”Whether it’s a crime, I’m the police, I decide!”

As soon as he finished speaking, he suddenly stood up and made a move.

His right hand flashed out, grabbing Cyan Wolf’s green hair, then slammed it down!

With a crash, Cyan Wolf’s head shattered the coffee table, instantly knocking him unconscious!

”I announce, you are being arrested for attempted assault on police! Resist at your own peril!” Xiao Tian said lazily.

Cyan Wolf’s subordinates froze for a moment, then immediately enraged, on their own turf, in superior numbers, their big brother was knocked out defenseless, it was an unprecedented humiliation!

Amidst the angry curses, they immediately encircled him, some holding bottles, some wielding flat knives, some gripping daggers, some wearing knuckle dusters, each fierce and malicious, truly intent on fighting!

Xiao Tian surveyed them with an icy gaze like the biting wind of Siberia, sending chills down many spines.

Yet none of Cyan Wolf’s subordinates backed down, with over ten companions holding ”weapons,” confident they could handle one unarmed cop!

But in the next three seconds, Xiao Tian showed them through his actions that against the Soldier King, they were nothing!

With one step, Xiao Tian was among the gang members.

A punch, one person flew; an elbow strike, one person fell; a knee blow, one likely to never be manly again in life; a kick, one vomited even yesterday’s meal...

Every part of his body became a weapon, striking like lightning with great force, each move taking down one, not missing a single strike!

In Red Plum Hall, sounds of flesh colliding were unending, mingled with screams and blood.

In just three seconds, aside from Xiao Tian, no one else could stand.

He didn’t even glance at the people on the ground, walking out while calling: ”Director Bai, Changting Association tried to attack me in Red Plum Hall of Jufu Building, but I have subdued them. Please send someone to clean up the scene. Also, I’d like to discuss the Changting Association matter with you.”

On the other end of the call, Bai Tao was very pleased, having been troubled by the Changting Association, they brought trouble upon themselves by provoking Xiao Tian, the harbinger—it was as if a pillow was handed when feeling drowsy, a wonderful feeling!

After hanging up, Xiao Tian was waiting for a taxi by the roadside when he saw a crowd gathered at the street, out of curiosity, he approached.

It turned out a woman was drunk, squatting by a tree as if trying to vomit, and a man with a tiger back and bear waist, full of menacing beast tattoos on his upper body, stood beside, trying to help the drunk woman, but was repeatedly waved off by her.

From the woman’s figure, she seemed at least to have a nice body, very enticing.

A crowd was gathered around them, it was clear to anyone with eyes that they had no relation, yet intimidated by the man’s strength and fierce look, no one dared speak up.

”Get away, I don’t know you!” the drunk woman shouted, once again shaking off the man’s hand.

”Wife, stop making a scene, will you? You forget everyone when drunk, quickly come home with me, avoid losing face!” As the man saw more onlookers, he got anxious and intended to use force.

Yet his outstretched hand was grabbed by someone—Xiao Tian.

”Who are you, daring to meddle in my family’s business? Are you tired of living?” The man, playing the victim, widened his tiger eyes as he glared fiercely, tightening his fist, ready to fight at any word.

Xiao Tian asked back: ”You say she’s your wife, what’s her name?”

”What my wife’s name is to you? Asking for a beating?” The longer the delay, the worse for him, the man decided to set an example, to half-beat Xiao Tian to death, naturally no one would dare intervene.

But as soon as he raised his fist, Xiao Tian grabbed his arm and swung it—he was spun around and finally slammed to the ground with a thud.

Not satisfied, Xiao Tian grabbed the man’s arm and flung him around three or four more times until the man was thoroughly knocked out before stopping.

”You think you look like that and dare pretend to be the husband of such a beauty, I spit on you!”

He scorned the man, then went to the drunk woman, squatted down, and asked: ”Ma’am, do you need me to call your family?”

The drunk woman slowly lifted her head, revealing a perfect, alluring face. Her starry eyes blurred, but they suddenly brightened upon seeing Xiao Tian.

”I need you to...”
