Medic Martial Dragon King

”He’s stopped, he’s stopped!”

”Let’s see what he says!”

”Hopefully, he’ll fight Xu Zhiyan!”

”Exactly, we didn’t see him fight the instructor, but fighting Xu Zhiyan will let us see if he’s got real skills!”

The crowd of students saw Jiang Chen turn around and immediately got excited again, watching Jiang Chen with anticipation.

”Are you from the Flame Dragon Kingdom?” Jiang Chen stared straight into Xu Zhiyan’s eyes and asked indifferently.

Xu Zhiyan was taken aback for a moment, then sneered, ”So what if I am? What I said is true! Flame Dragon Kung Fu is not as good as combat techniques!”

”A man from the Flame Dragon Kingdom, yet you worship the combat techniques of Beihai National? You really bring shame to our Flame Dragon Kingdom!” Jiang Chen sneered.

Xu Zhiyan’s face darkened, and he looked at Jiang Chen with a gloomy expression: ”This is called being realistic. If you have the ability, fight me. If you beat me, then you can say combat techniques are no good.”

”Good, since you’ve asked for a beating, I’ll grant you one!” Jiang Chen said expressionlessly: ”You can decide how we fight, just lead the way!”

”Alright!”

Xu Zhiyan responded excitedly and turned towards the combat techniques club, with Jiang Chen following behind with an impassive look on his face.

”He agreed! Jiang Chen agreed!”

”Come on, let’s hurry up and follow, we’ll get to see a great fight!”

”He actually dared to agree! Xu Zhiyan is not easy to deal with!”

”Who cares? As long as there’s a good show, that’s all that matters!”

A group of students eagerly followed behind Jiang Chen and the other, hoping to witness this highly anticipated fight!

...

”Ha! Hah!”

”Come on!”

Bang bang bang!

Upon entering the combat techniques club, a chorus of shouts, the thud of impacts and the cheers of girls filled the air.

Jiang Chen frowned and scanned the room— at the center of the combat techniques club was a large ring where two young men dressed in combat gear were sparring, surrounded by a crowd of male and female students cheering loudly.

Around the ring, there were lots of equipment, and some club members were practicing their combat techniques.

”Hmm?”

Suddenly, Jiang Chen raised his eyebrows. At the edge of the ring, he spotted the figure of Gong Yue. When he entered, a clear look of joy flashed across Gong Yue’s face, which quickly turned away when their eyes met.

In an instant, Jiang Chen understood. Xu Zhiyan challenging him was probably this girl Gong Yue’s doing.

”Clap clap clap—”

”Everyone, hold on a second!”

Xu Zhiyan clapped his hands to settle the crowd down, glanced at Jiang Chen, jumped onto the ring and stopped the two who were fighting. He clapped his hands to draw everyone’s attention.

”Him!” Xu Zhiyan pointed at Jiang Chen and shouted loudly, ”is the fiercest freshman on the forums, Jiang Chen!”

”That’s Jiang Chen?”

”He’s quite handsome!”

”Beating an instructor, you must be quite tough, huh?”

”What’s he here for? To join the Martial Arts Club?”

”Hey! Why are so many students gathering around?”

The members of the Martial Arts Club were all discussing this when a group of students who had followed over swarmed into the club.

”He’s not here to join our Martial Arts Club, he said our martial arts are trash, not as good as the Flame Dragon Kingdom’s kung fu, he also said that all of us studying martial arts are idiots!” Xu Zhiyan shouted out loud, ”I’ve called him here today to show him that martial arts are the strongest, and that he is the real idiotic trash!”

”What? He dares to insult us?”

”Our martial arts are the strongest!”

”Exactly, thinking he’s all that for beating an instructor? If it were me, I could take on three!”

”That kid is really courting death, daring to come to our Martial Arts Club looking for trouble!”

The anger of the Martial Arts Club’s members was instantly ignited by Xu Zhiyan, and they began cursing aloud.

”That guy looks quite sharp, how is he an idiot?”

”Right! Who doesn’t know that our Martial Arts Club is the strongest society at Dingjing University, with our president Xu Zhiyan having once ranked in the martial arts competition in Beihai National? This Jiang Chen dares to say martial arts aren’t any good, today he’s likely going to leave here lying down!”

”Indeed, martial arts are so cool! Nothing like Flame Dragon Kung Fu, which is so dull and boring!”

A group of female students also joined in mocking Jiang Chen.

Gong Yue’s eyes lit up at the sight, and a smile of satisfaction appeared on her face. ”Jiang Chen, think you’re so arrogant? Think you can bully me? Today, I want to see how you’re going to leave the Martial Arts Club. Hmph! This is just the first day; we’ve got a long way to go, and I will make sure you learn what happens when you mess with me, Gong Yue!”

Jiang Chen slightly frowned, glanced at Gong Yue, then looked at Xu Zhiyan, who had twisted the truth, and gave a cold laugh.

He had been thinking that Xu Zhiyan, after all, was being used by Gong Yue, so perhaps during the fight, he could hold back a little, so as not to make him lose too badly. But considering what Xu Zhiyan had said in front of the office building and now this, Jiang Chen had decided not to pull his punches any longer. He was going to give Xu Zhiyan a harsh lesson and show these brainwashed club members that Flame Dragon Kung Fu was the strongest!

”Come on, Jiang Chen, come up here, let me show you what trash really is!” Xu Zhiyan, having stirred up the crowd’s anger, curved his lips and looked at Jiang Chen darkly.

Jiang Chen didn’t speak, and simply walked up to the ring.

”President, there’s no need for you!”

A young man who had just been fighting in the ring stepped up to Xu Zhiyan’s side, glaring at Jiang Chen with anger, then turned to Xu Zhiyan: ”You don’t use a cleaver to kill a chicken, President, I’ll handle this!”

”Alright, Chen Mingfei, it’s up to you! Teach him a harsh lesson!” Xu Zhiyan patted Chen Mingfei on the shoulder, then turned and looked at Jiang Chen with disdain.

Chen Mingfei nodded emphatically: ”Don’t worry, President, I’ll make sure this kid won’t even recognize his own mother!”

”Ah! It’s Chen Mingfei who’s going to fight that guy!”

”Of course, the President doesn’t need to personally deal with him, does that kid even deserve it?”

”Exactly, with Chen Mingfei, a black belt first Dan, it’s more than enough to teach that guy a lesson!”

”Chen Mingfei, I love you, give that guy a good thrashing!”

”Chen Mingfei, we support you, beat up that guy!”

A host of Martial Arts Club members and the surrounding students cheered for Chen Mingfei, including a number of his fans.

And Chen Mingfei, not only handsome but tall and dressed in a neat white martial arts uniform, looked stunning as he stood on the ring, the very image of a heartthrob.

Chen Mingfei was aware of his charm, he smiled and waved at the female fans below, then turned his head to face Jiang Chen: ”Kid, you dare to insult our martial arts, today, I’ll let you feel just how powerful martial arts can be! Are you ready to be carried out lying down?”

”You sure talk too much!” Jiang Chen said, his lips curling in impatience.

”You... very well, you’ve successfully angered me! Die!” Chen Mingfei shouted with a steely face, and charged towards Jiang Chen.
