Medic Martial Dragon King

Gong Yue asked Jiang Chen in astonishment, a sly smile flickering in her eyes.

”Great, you’ve been bullying me every day, and now you’re in my territory. Let’s see how I’ll deal with you!”

Jiang Chen looked at Gong Yue with puzzlement and then turned to consult Gong Lin.

”Gong Yue is a junior at Dingjing University, and from now on, you’ll be alumni!” Gong Lin smiled gently, her eyes filled with meaning as she looked at Jiang Chen.

No way! Jiang Chen felt a wave of gloom in his heart. Great, he had to deal with this troublemaker at home, and at the university, he’d have to become schoolmates with her?

The three of them ate their meal, each with their thoughts, and after dinner, Jiang Chen continued with his routine, practicing his cultivation hard at night, hoping to break through the levels of his Cultivation Technique sooner.

The next day, Jiang Chen arrived at the school.

”Eh?”

But when he reached his class, he found that all the freshmen were on the sports field, undergoing military training.

You’ve got to be kidding me! Military training? What a waste of time!

Jiang Chen frowned slightly but still hurried to the sports field and approached his class instructor.

”Which class are you from? How come you are late? And not even dressed in training uniform?!” The instructor sized up Jiang Chen with a frown and spoke with an unfriendly tone.

Of course, Jiang Chen wasn’t in camouflage; he was just wearing his own clothes – it was his first day of classes, and he had no idea about the military training. Gong Lin had forgotten to tell him.

”Instructor, I’m a new special recruit for our class, Jiang Chen,” Jiang Chen introduced himself.

”Ah, so you’re that special recruit?” The instructor nodded, his expression becoming stern as he repeated, ”Why aren’t you wearing the training uniform?”

Jiang Chen glanced at his classmates standing in rows, turned back to the instructor, and said softly, ”Instructor, I don’t want to do military training. It’s just a waste of time for me.”

”What? You don’t want to do military training? A waste of time?” The instructor was taken aback, his eyes bulging out as he barked, ”Fine, if you can beat me, then you don’t have to do military training!”

Such arrogance from a special recruit! Do you think that just because you were specially admitted, you can do whatever you want?

This was a blatant provocation!

Infuriated, the instructor glared at Jiang Chen, secretly deciding that he would definitely give him a lesson to let him know that even special recruits wouldn’t receive any special treatment during the military training period!

”Heh, has that guy gone crazy? Challenging the instructor on his first day?”

”What’s so great about a special recruit? Our instructor this time is a special forces soldier!”

”Exactly, he thinks he’s got special privileges just because he’s a special recruit? Now he’s really hit a wall, hasn’t he?”

”Hmph! Let him show off. Everyone has to do military training, and he wants special treatment! What was he thinking? Let’s see how he gets handled when he fights the instructor!”

All the other students undergoing military training also heard it and were amused. They looked at Jiang Chen as if he were a fool, their eyes full of mockery.

How could he dare to challenge an instructor if not a fool?

”Alright, you said it – if I win, I don’t have to do military training,” Jiang Chen confirmed with the instructor, ignoring the other students’ reactions.

”Yes, I said it!” The instructor’s eyes flashed with sarcasm as he nodded firmly.

”Haha, he’s really going to fight? Is he insane?”

”Definitely insane... Holy shit!”

The nearby students all laughed, but before their laughter was over, they were all staring wide-eyed.

Whoosh!

Suddenly, Jiang Chen made his move, kicking towards the instructor.

The instructor’s pupils shrank as he was about to react, but a pain in his abdomen made his body soar into the air, and he crashed to the ground!

Thud!

He landed hard on the ground, his face instantly turning crimson!

The other students’ laughter and mocking voices disappeared in an instant, and they stared in shock at the instructor getting up from the ground.

Defeated? He really defeated the instructor!

Was he really that awesome?

They were all stunned!

But at this moment, the instructor climbed up with a dark expression, glaring at Jiang Chen, and squeezed out from between his clenched teeth, ”Kid, that was a sneak attack!”

”Right, it must’ve been a sneak attack!”

”The instructor is a special forces soldier; how could he lose to such a kid? It has to be a sneak attack!”

”This doesn’t count!”

”That doesn’t count!”

The other students agreed, as they all started shouting in support.

Jiang Chen shrugged his shoulders, unable to help but twist his mouth in frustration, ”Alright then, let’s go again!”

The instructor’s expression became stern as he looked at Jiang Chen with seriousness.

Whoosh!

Jiang Chen moved again, and the instructor’s face changed once more; he had not caught a clear glimpse of Jiang Chen’s figure.

Bang!

Just as he tried to block instinctively, his abdomen hurt again, and the instructor was sent flying once more.

Thud!

The instructor hit the ground again!

Gasp!

All the spectators were once again struck dumbfounded, their minds in a daze!

After quite some time, they managed to squeeze out one word:

”Damn!”

”No way, the instructor lost again?”

”What, what’s going on? Is that kid really that good?”

”Isn’t the instructor a special forces soldier? How could he be kicked flying by that guy again and again?”

”Is the instructor a mere pillow with embroidery?”

The other students cast their surprised gazes towards the instructor on the ground, their eyes filled with doubt.

The instructor was already furious, and upon hearing the students’ comments and sensing the questioning looks, his rage soared even higher. He got up, clenched his teeth, glared at Jiang Chen, and bellowed, ”You, you’re still making a sneak attack!”

”Still a sneak attack?”

”Seems like it, the instructor wasn’t ready at all!”

”That guy just knows how to launch sneak attacks!”

”That’s awfully cunning!”

The other students were taken aback by this remark, thought for a moment, and realized that Jiang Chen did strike first and the instructor hadn’t moved; it must have been a sneak attack, as they didn’t have the eye to discern that it wasn’t that the instructor didn’t move, but rather he had no chance to react!

”Fine, let’s go again,” Jiang Chen said helplessly, shaking his head.

The instructor approached Jiang Chen warily, his body tensed and slightly bent, adopting an absolute defense mode only used in real battlefields.

”Come on!” the instructor called out in a low voice.

Whoosh!

Right after the call, Jiang Chen charged again.

Bang!

Thud!

The instructor was once again sent flying without a chance to react.

”This...”

The students were utterly astonished, staring open-mouthed at the instructor on the ground, at a loss for words!

Could this still be considered a sneak attack?

”You’re still calling that a sneak attack!”

The instructor’s voice rose in a mix of rage and embarrassment, as he got up from the ground and furiously glared at Jiang Chen, his face flushed red.

Jiang Chen was becoming impatient, frowning at the instructor, ”Is that still called a sneak attack?”

”Yes, it’s a sneak attack, I say it’s a sneak attack, and that’s that!” the instructor shouted angrily, neck strained, unable to admit defeat.

Jiang Chen rolled his eyes, hands shoved into his pockets, looking indifferently at the instructor, ”Okay, I’ll stand still, and you make the first move. This won’t count as a sneak attack anymore, right?”

The instructor’s eyelids twitched, and he thought fiercely to himself:

Kid, you’re pushing me into a corner! If I get beaten by you in front of all these students, I’ll lose all my face as an instructor. How will I lead the team in the days to come?

Since you’ve asked for it, don’t blame me for not holding back!
