Venerated Venomous Consort

Modesty obviously meant nothing to her. Di Fuyi thought that Gu Xijiu was sobering up, but clearly, she was still drunk. Apparently, he could not even persuade a drunken woman to change her mind. This certainly made him feel like a failure.

Di Fuyi took a glance at her beautiful face, which then reminded him of Fan Qianshi. When they were still in the Monster Kingdom, he once saw how they interacted with one another. The way Fan Qianshi looked at her openly showed that he was obsessed with her.

Irritated by the thought, he decided to pull her into his embrace. “Baby, I did not know you like it this way. Did you want me to become your disciple so that I can become obsessed with you, just like Qianshi?” For the first time, the man thought he made a powerful statement.

Gu Xijiu’s head was still spinning. She could not seem to understand him, so she stared at him blankly. “Huh?”

She swayed her body a little, but carelessly tripped over her own foot and fell forward onto Di Fuyi. Their lips accidentally touched each other. And since she fell hard, the kiss was a real, solid one. In fact, Di Fuyi could even taste some blood.

Before he could push her away, she had already teleported for about 30 feet away from him. Certainly, Di Fuyi was stunned by her speedy recovery. He looked at her in an attempt to make a joke about the situation in order to reduce the awkwardness but saw that she was slowly wiping her lips with a silk handkerchief.

Needless to say, Di Fuyi he felt a little offended. No one had ever been able to come close enough to him for such an intimate exchange. She was the only one who had kissed him before and yet she seemed disgusted.

In fact, he was quite hurt by the way she teleported away from him. His frustration took over his composure as he said, “Is this how a master should treat her disciple? To welcome him with reluctance?”

He did not manage to finish what he wanted to say as Gu Xijiu glared at him with fierce eyes. Her eyes were bright and clear, showing no signs at all that she was drunk. She stood casually and let out a victorious smile, like a cunning little fox. “Di Fuyi, now that you have addressed me as your master, you should listen and do as I say. Stop talking about things that no longer matter.”

Di Fuyi continued to observe her, feeling that he had just fallen into her trap. “Were you acting drunk?”

Quietly, Gu Xijiu only smiled at him. She was drunk, but only for a while. She soon recovered her consciousness, thanks to her unique physique. Furthermore, Di Fuyi had given her a pill to help her sober up, so it only took 15 minutes for her to recover.

She never thought that she would be able to get herself a disciple even when she was clearly was not able to think straight. Gu Xijiu reached out her hand and said, “My great disciple, give me the pills that I have requested from you.”

This time, Gu Xijiu spoke with a sense of authority. Di Fuyi paused for a little while but soon became hypnotized by her words. He did as she said and took out a pill. He knew it was against his will, but he could no longer control his movements. He had to fulfil her command.

Relieved, Gu Xijiu finally acquired the pill she wanted.

“What have you done to me?” Di Fuyi calmly asked.

“I cast a spell on you that makes you do as I say. As proven, it is working just fine.”

Di Fuyi touched his lips, where her taste still lingered. “So, the fall was intentional? It was just so that you could cast a spell on me?”

“Yes, indeed.”

Di Fuyi scornfully replied, “I have done so many things for you, and this is what I get in return.”

Gu Xijiu found it hard to defend her actions, but she had no other choice. The spell was the last thing that she wanted to do. However, his stories about how he killed his master and murdered the man who adopted him were quite terrifying. She was not sure if she could trust him entirely.

Besides, the spell would not affect his health at all. She knew she would only use it when necessary.
