Epic Of Caterpillar

Chapter 2593 - 2594: Medeaʼs Desperate Move

-----

While realizing that breaking her petrified body would simply be a waste of time and energy, Medea unleashed a powerful spell against Clementine.

”{Great Dark Magia Manifest}: {Ten-Thousand Black Voids}!”

FLAAAASH!

Out of thin air, hundreds of magic circles manifested, combined into an Instant Magic Formation, and bombarded Clementine with massive spheres of darkness, made entirely out of matter-devouring void.

And then, with a powerful magic shockwave, the spheres rushed down towards the vampiress, who only looked at them with disinterest.

”Hmph…”

Clementine smiled confidently, as the spheres reached her body, bombarding her completely.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

As the countless explosions engulfed the Vampire Queen, Medea smiled within her petrified body, glancing through her petrified eyes.

”So she calls herself a witch but simply had no response against that, pathetic! Sheʼs just like that dog, strong but so what?! Youʼre just monsters that-”

RUMBLE!

However, against Medeaʼs expectations, a shockwave of blood-colored energy was released from Clementineʼs position making the smoke dissipate, revealing her completely unscathed body, and dress.

Indeed, she was fine.

”H-Huh?”

Medea was left speechless, she actually survived that without any hint of damage.

An attack that could easily slaughter even heroes.

It didnʼt hurt Clementine?!

”What is this? Another illusion perhaps?! No but thatʼs… If she was so invincible she wouldnʼt had run away from my Demonic Eye Beams, wouldnʼt she?!”

What Medea didnʼt know was that Clementine and Beowulf had moved away just to not be hit by the Great Ancestorʼs powerful magic wave, not because they were afraid of Medeaʼs magic.

”It looks like this is the extent of your magic? It couldnʼt even hurt my body,” said Clementine. ”If you cannot get past my Diamond Body, then you should start running away with your tail between your legs, youʼre no match for me.”

”HAH?!”

Medea didnʼt even know what her ”Diamond Body” was, but thinking about what she saw, it could be some sort of Ability that Clementine had, one that negated damage on its entirely.

Magic and physical at the same time, and even the void element itself was negated… preposterous!

”Hey dog, stop taking a nap and get out of there already, werenʼt you going to avenge your daughter?”

Clementine looked down at the star-shaped formation, as Medea heard the sound of glass being shattered.

Crack, crack…!

CRACK!

”Wait…!”

She looked down at the formation, being reminded of a similar sight when she fought against Frank on his Wrathful Heart Transformation.

CRAAASH!

Beowulfʼs giant claws tore through the formation and made it disappear, his body, although it exuded a lot of black smoke and was covered in ashes…

Was also unscathed.

”Dammit, I got distracted with all the lights…” Sighed Beowulf. ”Hahaha! Well, that was quite something. Are these all the things you can do, witch? Maybe you werenʼt even worth our time coming here? Can I beat you to death now or do we have to see something else before that?”

The werewolf started cracking his knuckles, his gigantic height and his cocky smile, alongside the powerful Divine Aura coming from him made Medea quickly realize something.

Clementine wasnʼt a mere Pure-Blooded Vampire; she had powers that made her defy logic.

Beowulf wasnʼt a mere Werewolf Pack Leader; he possessed supernatural powers and a Divine Aura that made him something else entirely.

”A vampire with Magic Eyes of Petrification and an indestructible body! And a Werewolf with a Divine Aura?! W-What is this country?! How can it harbor such nonsensical monsters?!”

”Beowulf.”

”Yeah, yeah.”

FLASH! FLASH!

In a split second, a blur of crimson red and a blur of golden light appeared in front and behind Medeaʼs petrified body.

Magical circles manifested within Clementineʼs hands, unleashing two giant swords made of blood against Medea, spinning and slashing through her.

SLAASH! SLAASH! SLAASH! SLAASH!

At the same time, Beowulfʼs claws grew thrice as long, becoming completely made of gold, and encompassed by a Divine Aura, it was as if he was wielding five Divine Swords in each of his hands!

CRASH! CRASH! CRASH! CRASH!

Their combined attack was devastating, Medeaʼs magic, as quickly as she tried to conjure it, instantly disappeared as the gaze of the Great Ancestor dispelled it instantly.

”S-She didnʼt dispel it before… Was it because she wanted them to have fun with me?!”

BOOOMMM!!!

The accumulated damage that she took made her entire familiar explode into black smoke and dissipate in mere seconds, her petrified stone fragments falling from the sky.

”Hah, her Familiars are sure weak, huh?” Beowulf smiled cheekily.

”Hmm, sheʼs not gone yet,” Clementine said. ”You can smell her right?”

”Yeah,” Beowulf nodded. ”Hey girlie! I think sheʼs within the entire domain she created. Did you check the fragments?”

”I did, Beowulf,” the Great Ancestor said. ”And as you said, the fragments of the formation she created to trap the children are also her familiars, hence why she can keep coming endlessly unless we destroy them.”

”Canʼt you?” Beowulf asked.

”I could, but I want to see more of her abilities…” The Great Ancestor smiled back at the wolf. ”So letʼs have some more ”fun” for now, shall we?”

”Hahahah! Fine! I like her attitude!” Laughed Beowulf.

”Hmph, does she think we are her playthings or something?” Clementine sighed. ”Hm?”

The trio looked into the skies, thousands of tiny shadows merged, not into a new specter, but into a giant black portal, beginning to twist space itself.

Two giant crimson eyes began to come out from the portal, as blazing flames started exuding from within it.

”If I cannot do it on my own, then I shall simply bring many of my friends with me! Hahahaha!”

Medea wasnʼt giving up either, she also wanted to see what they were capable of and decided to bring ”friends” with her.

”{Great Dark Magia Manifest}: {Great Dimensional Gate: Demon Summoning}!”

RUMBLE!

A shockwave of demonic flames erupted from the portal, as a gigantic demon started to tear through the fabric of space and time and emerged into the domain.

”GRRRHHHH…!”
